I can’t say enough about the incredible team at Ace.After reading quite a few negative reviews on Yelp, I was hesitant to adopt from Ace of Hearts. But I fell in love with a dog named Cooper and decided to take a chance and go in with my eyes wide open.I went through the motions of applying, doing the interview, meeting with the foster parents, home inspection and spending time with Cooper. Everything went very smoothly, everyone was extremely responsive, and the process was very well organized. They’ve got their sh*t together.Where they truly shone was after I brought Cooper home. There were some unexpected health concerns that needed attention. They were with me every single step of the way, taking the time to coordinate vet visits, speak with specialists and essentially handling it every step of the way. Not to mention, following up with me, taking the time to explain things to me, and keeping me informed through it all. I spoke to both Jackie and Kari almost daily and not once did I feel like I was being a nuisance. They were on it and cared so deeply for Cooper’s well-being. I can’t say I’ve ever had service like this for anything else in the past. Even veterinary employees commented on how impressed they were with their involvement.I highly recommend adopting or donating to Ace. They care so deeply about their dogs, which in turn is reflected in how they deal with the right adopters. They are very special people doing very special work and I’m so glad they’re out there. I’m sure many dogs are living their best life because of them.
