We had a great first visit with Arkansas Family Dental! The staff were all friendly, helpful, and made us very feel so comfortable. I even got a nice blanket because I was cold. They are very knowledgeable and explain things well. I like detail so they were happy to accommodate this. A couple of staff members even showed me their teeth as an example to what they were referring to. It was very helpful! They answered questions and got treatment plans ready for both of us. A trip to the dentist always makes my husband nervous but even he enjoyed it. We look forward to establishing long term care with this office.

Everyone is always in such a good mood. I enjoy coming here. My dental hygienist is the best!!! The satellite radio station was so on point today. It was a mix of 70s R&B and Jazz. It was very relaxing for an end of the day appointment. Dental appointment relaxing, it can happen.

I typically have terrible anxiety about the dentist and this place is a game changer. Seriously the most amazing dentist experience! Everyone is so friendly and really goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. Cannot say enough positive things about it.

I’ve never really been a fan of Dentist offices, but that being said Arkansas Family Dental is great! As soon as you walk in the door you’re greeted with a smile. The most thorough and accommodating dentist visit Ive ever had. Never before have I been given a building tour, introduced to the staff, been asked about myself, and been given as warm a welcome as I had here. Candace was my hygienist and she was a delight and performed the most thorough cleaning and sealing Ive ever gotten! Its easy to see that the team here values their clients and enjoys their job. I overheard other clients in neighboring rooms cutting it up and having a great time with the staff as well. Professional and pleasant visit. Very happy with the services performed. Couldnt have asked for much more!

After an incident at another dentist where they canceled my son’s appointment, I found Arkansas Family Dental and they got my son in 20 minutes later. It was an emergency dental appointment that the other place had canceled. I couldn’t believe they were able to fit us in. When we got there they were all so kind and understanding. They treated my son great and I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dentist.

The whole team is awsome, they took the time to explain all details on what would work better for me. We had a lot of laughter and all around good time, I will be back.

If you were looking for a dentist who truly cares, and is there when you need them, these are the people. We were new patients, with a dental emergency. And they were as kind, and as helpful, as could be. Offering a first thing in the morning appointment that unfortunately we could not accommodate so they moved it to when we could make the appointment that afternoon. They took care of us with a quick, kind, and caring manner. These are people you definitely want to have as your dentist.

Mrs.McNutt is the best. I dont like needles but she made me so comfortable that i didnt notice she was using a needle. She help keep me calm and just made me feel very very comfortable with the service she performed.

They burned my mouth! Terrible experience and the billers have no clue what they are doing. I attempted to report my incident to management and the dentist three times and never received a call back. I went in for a crown that had fallen off (only had it 2 years) and the assistant used the wrong tool and burned the other side of my mouth!! They hushed me up and sent me on my way quickly. I did not get seen by the dentist after it happened. I called later to report it to the dentists never heard back. I tried to speak with a supervisor two separate occasions and never once was allowed or received a call back. Do NOT use this place.

I had my first visit at Arkansas Family Dental, and it was such a friendly welcoming place you almost forget your at the dentist office.Brittany gave me a tour and did my X-rays. Jennifer cleaned my teeth, and Dr. Atkins put fillings in 2 of my teeth. My appointment was at 3p and I was completely done and out by 4:15p. These ladies were just on the ball. My first visit to Arkansas Family Dental was on Friday,13th! Nevertheless, I had a tooth emergency that needed to be taken care of. Im so glad I called AFD! I was assisted in a timely manner and very pleased with the care I received! First impressions last forever!!!!

My daughter is in college in Little Rock and I live in Dallas, she called me saying she was in so much pain her gums were swollen so I googled dentist in her area, I called a few and this one had the best prices and they were very nice they gave her a same day appointment and treated her so well she texted me saying how nice they were , she woke up this morning and texted me her mouth feel 100 percent better, thank you all for taking care of my baby when I’m so far away and this was her first time going to the dentist alone

Went there for years, UNTIL I was charged approximately $3,000 more for a procedure than what the printed plan estimate was. All your paying for is the extra perks that other dentist dont offer like the car give away.I WONT RETURN !!!!!! They can find another sucker to pay for the car give away. Way too many extra staff there that arent doing anything, that the patients are paying for. I went there for a root canal and they couldnt even perform (3 times)!!!I will have to say after posting my review the office called me Tuesday stating that after my review they looked into my account and they actually admitted that there was an error on their part and they would actually take care of my account in full. I am very happy that they did what was right. But, why it took a google review to get their attention, after calling numerous times and even going by in person? Oh well at least its take care of.

This is an amazing dentist office. When you come in your always greeted with a smile. My first visit I was given a tour and told all about the facility. Very high tech by they way and they do there own partials on site. My dental hygienist is amazing. The dentist seem pretty cool to. Very informative and willing to answer any questions you have regarding the procedures. Im glad I started coming here. You should try them out too!

The customer service is EXCEPTIONAL! I was having a very bad day and when I arrived at my former dentists office that had been bought by AFD, only to find it being remodeled and realizing I had to drive an extra 15 mins away, I was ready to let my opinions about not being given that info be known, lol. But the receptionist could not have been more compassionate over the phone, then peppy and kind once I got to the office. The tech, Jen, was SO KIND and fun. They give GIFT BAGS to new patients, the have a COMFORT MENU - Ive never had better customer service ANYWHERE, much less a dentists office! Ill be telling everyone I know about how great AFD is! They even offer a heads-up about out-of-pocket expenses and work with you regarding payment. Scheduling was fast and easy. Cant say enough good about my experience today!

I LOVE HER...Im always so elated to see Angela, and the other staff as well as Dr. T Nichols. This morning I met a young lady name Red my apologies I did not remember her government name but she was very sweet. ANGELA takes really good care of my teeth... This is the best dentist I have ever been to. The first time I felt like I wasn’t being rushed in and out as fast as possible. As a new patient, they gave me a tour of the building, told me all about what they do, and wanted to make sure every concern I had was taken care of. They were very thorough with their cleaning and when the dentist came in to check my teeth. Unfortunately, I am moving out of state soon but if I could I would fly back and go to this dentist every time I needed to go to the dentist.

The A Team , Dr. Ludford and Angela, are awesome! Angela is one of my sons favorite people in the whole world. He is a 6 yo that actually looks forward to going to the dentist because of her. Customer service here is amazing from the time you walk through the door, until you leave. Angela always goes above and beyond and my family truly appreciates her! Best Hygienist ever! From the front desk to the employees in the back me and my daughter was treated excellent and acknowledged. It feels great to be treated as a person and not just revenue or another account with the facility.

The front desk staff was very nice and friendly. I waited about 30 minutes in the waiting room, and over an hour after getting a room. The dental assistant seemed to be impatient and a bit rude when I asked her a few questions. The doctor barely talked to me. He was in the room for about 5 minutes. After looking at the x-ray his assistant did . He didnt even bother checking my mouth to see the problem. He just assumed I had an infection and sent me home with antibiotics. I felt like they were rushing to get me out the door. I was referred by my sister. So I thought this would be a great experience, but it wasnt. I dont know if i will ever go back. Unless they change the way they treat people. I know they have other patients waiting. But I waited a long time too just to be seen. I feel like I didnt receive proper attention.

If you are an active duty Military family member, do not come here.I had a dental emergency. I was in a LOT of pain when I contacted Arkansas Family Dental. Pain such as Ive never felt in my life.I called them to make sure my insurance was taken, and I was assured that they were in-network with United Concordia, the standard dental care for Military Families.I went, received excellent dental care from caring providers over 3 appointments, but my treatment plan was over $2,500. I had to open a care credit to pay for it that day, which is on me. That might seem like a small amount to some people, but we are a 1-income family since I stay at home and homeschool our special needs kids. Thats a lot of money for us, and we are proud of being debt free with no credit cards until I opened the care credit.I wondered why it was so expensive but I called other dental offices around the city to get a quote. They dont give quotes without an appointment. So I continued with Arkansas Family Dental, being in extreme pain and needed care asap. We talked about the treatment plan, estimated insurance coverage, ect. It was multiple appointments and I actually needed 2 crowns, 1 root canal, 2 cavities refilled and a cleaning I was due for. At this point, I was still under the impression that I was in-network and knew that my insurance only pays around 50% of crowns, so while expensive, not really unexpected. No one said anything about being out-of-network at this point.I paid my treatment plan in full my first appointment with my new care credit card.Today I had my last appointment, a routine cleaning. Military families receive preventative dental care at no cost. I was told I needed to pay $52 for my cleaning today. I have never had to pay for a routine cleaning at any other dental office Ive been to, and Ive been to many over our Military moves in different states.I was confused and so they had me talk to their insurance specialist. I was then informed that they are NOT, in fact, in-network with Tricare insurance. I was immediately upset because that is not what I was assured when I first called them. I had deliberately asked if they were in-network when I called them!!!! That was the verbiage I used, so there was no confusion. In fact, I had already called many dental offices to see if they took my insurance and were in-network, and I picked this one because it is supposed to be the best in the area and I had been told they were in-network!!Then I asked, well didnt they include my final appointment and cleaning on my treatment plan? The one I already paid in full from the first day? Apparently not.What an expensive mistake for me to make, and I take responsibility for not checking with my own insurance but I was told otherwise from the beginning. I feel absolutely taken advantage of on some level. I was in so much pain. Not once was I informed that my insurance was out of network. Until today, my last appointment.Now Ive gone from being completely debt free to feeling ashamed and paying an overly expensive dental bill. At least my mouth doesnt hurt anymore.I understand that this review will probably be lost among many positive ones but people really need to be cautious about their insurance and billing issues.

The Arkansas Family Dental team is always fantastic. They have precautionary measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and they are incredibly friendly. From the time youre greeted upon entry, during the service, and when youre exiting, everyone is kind and fun. Candace was awesome and I look forward to more cleaning visits with her.

I came in for my appointment with a heavy heart from some sad news but my hygienist was comforting and caring. I’ve really loved coming to this dentist office. Even going over the treatment plan and the cost, they’re always encouraging for the best for my teeth and financially.

They gave me information that showed everything I needed to get done at later visits in detail. They asked me what I needed to get done and what I wanted out of my experience there.
