I recently bought my first home which is a bit older. I knew I wanted to get the popcorn ceilings removed asap and had also hoped to get flooring replaced. We found him through Chenal Painting, called on a Friday, met with Phillip Monday and got a quote by end of day. We discussed then that we were hoping for flooring to be done at some point and learned of Chenal Restoration that he also owns. After receiving other quotes for each project as well as lumped together, he was on par with and/or cheaper than other quotes. He had all of the popcorn removed and repainted by end of that week (starting Tuesday and wrapping up Saturday right before I moved in) and got the flooring done the following week. He was prompt, responsive and work was excellent. Half payment accepted at beginning of work and only accepted remaining once complete. Also helped with a number of small things I needed done. He will be my first call for all future work. Highly recommend!

After a tree hit our home we were devastated. Farm Bureau told us about Chenal Restoration. The owner came out and did the measurements. Mr. Curry told us that he would make sure our home was better than before. He and his staff were very professional! They did a wonderful job! I love my new room! They also cleaned up as they worked. My office building, and specifically my suite, was badly flooded over the Christmas weekend. I was incredibly skeptical about the degree to which it could be restored to functionality and the timeframe in which it could be done. Much to my surprise, within roughly 3 days the moisture in the air was all but gone and the carpets/floors dried completely. By the end of the work week the water was gone and the smell back to normal. The service was great and the crew were diligent and informative. I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone or hire them again if necessary.

After paying in full, yet not being able to reach the company for completion date of quoted items, I pursued attempts to receive monies overpaid sent back to me. I sent emails and pictures to Allstate Ins. and got their their assistance in getting overpayment of funds for work unfinished by Chenal returned to me .....after Allstate got involved, Chenal settled with me. Chenal Restoration returned $3,031.74 to me for work not performed. How did this happen? Allstate made a check payable to BOTH myself and to Chenal for agreed total work to be performed by that company. Therefore, one of us had to sign it over to the other. My advice is never sign over insurance funds prior to job completion. I had an unpleasant experience.

We recently had a structural failure that resulted in significant damage to the ceiling in our house making the house almost unlivable. We immediately called our insurance agent and he put us in contact with Phillip at Chenal Restoration. Phillip came to our house the same day even though it was late in the day and walked us through the steps it would take to resolve our problem. Ultimately Chenal Restoration worked us courteously and quickly through getting the repairs done in a timely fashion. The quick response and professional service provided by Phillip and his crew at Chenal Restoration made an emergency situation so much less stressful and myself and my wife are so thankful our insurance representative recommended them. I wish i could actually give zero stars. The company is actually not located in Chenal but closer to 12th St. This company started a mold removal/restoration job at my home first stating that their specialist Mrs Theresa has never failed a mold test, she failed two at my home, the company only masked the mold with Kilz paint, which had to be removed by another company. The company also removes your furniture and possessions during this process (some items permanently without your permission) after being in a hotel for thirty-five days, I terminated this company from doing the remainder of my job, but after I had reputable companies come and finish the job, Chenal Restoration took their time returning my possessions in monthly trips and without many of my possessions. Please dont be fooled by the nice demeanor of Phillip, me and my wife were. I will be speaking with the Better Business Bureau, and possibly suing for my antiques which Phillip so nicely stated that their was no market for my items to be sold as his excuse for my items not being taken by them. Also get a recording app to record all phone conversation with this company just in case.

Horrible experience. I was referred to them by Travelers my homeowners insurance. We had a busted pipe on New years day in the guest house that began in the bathroom. We called them, and they arrived late on the 2nd. After my husband and I had done all we could, including pulling up areas of the wood floor, using a shop vac to suck up as much water as possible, they appeared and set up some dehumidifier machines, and left. A couple of days later, I called and said what are we supposed to be doing? They said they were extremely busy, but should be able to come out in a day or two. My husband and I panicked at this point, knowing that the water was only causing more damages, began to pull up more of the hardwood floor. A couple of days later, we noticed water leaking beneath the tile floor in the bathroom, the origin of the busted pipe. Why in the world would they not have pulled up this floor first? I made a phone call to Ken, who said they would be out again in a day or two. We then began pulling up that floor. The subfloor was completely soaked, and beginning to show black mold. Two days later, Ken showed up again, and set up more dehumidifiers, and said they put down some antifungals and left. At this appointment they were here about 15 minutes. We provided the dump trailor, and most of the labor on this job. At one point, we had four of our guys here working. We felt that it was our structure, and wanted to do all we could to maintain its integrity. These guys from Chenal Restoration were slow, and expensive. After billing my insurance company, I paid them what they paid me. A man from Chenal called me and demanded the money, and said he had been around for a long time, and he was going to get his money. He proceeded to call me degrading names, such as honey, and sweet heart. He chuckled under his breath. Very Degrading! When I confronted him about his language he backed off, and apologized. When I asked to speak with the owner, shockingly, he replied, I am the owner. To my dismay, we arranged to meet the following week. The owner, cant remember his name, didnt show up. My husband and I sat down with Ken, and agreed to pay more money for a final settlement. I paid them in two different checks, which they were both cashed. About six months later, I started receiving phone calls from a credit collection company with more demands for $542.54. I feel like I have been verbally abused, and lied to. I should have gotten this final agreement we made in writing. I feel like the quality of work was horrible and slow. At this point, I would rather go to court than to pay them an additional money. Consumers beware. This was by far the most hideous business experience I have ever had!
