I have never had a more pleasant experience as a car shop before. Chris, the manager (I think), was extremely helpful and nice. He communicated with me every step of the way while my car was in their hands. Charles, technician that worked on my car, was so respectful and attentive. I came in thinking I had an almost $1000 fix on my hands, but after they did a diagnosis, which did cost $85 but was completely worth it, it ended up being a problem that cost significantly less ($260). That gave me the trust to know they arent just after the customers money. Thank you so much for a great experience. I will certainly bring my car in for anything else it might need! I 100% recommend this place.

I spent $2365.20 on my daughter car here about 6 months ago and last week, I saw it was doing the same thing I paid to get fixed. Took it back this morning and they tell me it’s something else to fix and more money. No you should honor the work I paid for already that you all told me was the problem.

I just bought a used car that wasnt running as smoothly as i thought it should be so i took it in Macuil for oil change and tune up. The ride home was so much better. They did an excellent job in getting those kinks out and they didnt try to break the bank doing it. They will more than likely get all my auto repair business.

They fixed my locked e brake for about $25. Fixed my tail lights that wouldnt come on due to some faulty wiring for just over $50. Maumelle store is really nice. Both maumelle and university stores were great. Polite people, professional and no shady pricing. Will be going there from now on.

I have been a customer at the Macuil’s University location for years. They are always efficient, professional, and courteous. They have great customer service... that includes Cynthia (who works the front), the mechanics (i.e. Charles), and the owner.They are patient with you and don’t make you feel like you’re bothering them with your questions. You can run into that. I feel that they appreciate me as a customer and are very fair with their prices. They really work with you, and run specials at times that are very helpful. I will continue to go to Macuil’s on University for all of my automotive repair needs.

The employees at MaCuil’s are beyond excellent. The crew went above and beyond to assist me with removing my tire lock. They went the extra mile. I would highly recommend them.

Got me in and out quick!

Ive had to go in here several times to get a quick oil change. The main mechanic is a sweetheart and I had no complaints about the service. If the interior of the place wasnt so old and dingy I would give this place a 5. This is a good place for UALR students to go to as they have student discounts also!!

It took 2 visits to get my alignment right. After I left the first time, my rear wheel was rubbing the lower control arm which was a performance piece that was powder coated red. My steering wheel was about 45 degrees off. The only reason that I went back was because Id already paid for it. Nice people, horrible work.

Excellent business to visit when Im need of tire repair and a great place to visit when you are in the restoration of an auto. I have let Macuil Auto perform several repairs on my car and they have done excellent work. Best customer service experience you want to experience when it comes to having repairs to your vehicle.

The price points are far above other local options, rates, and comparable service. I have given these guys two opportunities to succeed for me, and each time was a disappointment.

Horrible service! I took my 2013 Altima in for an oil change and 2 1/12 weeks later my car had to be towed to Nissan. I thought everything would be fine since it was under warranty but to my surprise, the oil plug had not been replaced correctly at enough torque after my oil change causing my oil to leak out gradually and my whole motor to lock up on a 2 year old car! Nissan will not cover it since it was on the establishment that did the change. These shady individuals working in the shop are trying to act like they dont have any record of me coming in and will not give me the owners information and keep blowing me off. My fairly new car is sitting up at Nissan useless and I cannot even get around. The person answering the phone rudely tells me that its a process and he cannot force the owner to call me. I have never had such a horrible experience in my life and now my family cannot get around. The cost to replace the motor in my 2 year old car is $7,000 and I owe a total of $16,000 on the vehicle. They wont even offer a rental and I am constantly stressed because they will not even call me about the situation. They need to be shut down

Great service reasonably priced!

The first time i went to take my wife’s truck to get brakes. The customer service was excellent,however; the brakes went out and the truck had to be taken back and fixed. I figured everyone makes mistakes they were nice I’ll go back. I took my car in and had it worked on the check engine light was on. Now it comes on intermittently. Recently my wife took her truck to have it fixed and later the problem became a major issue with her not being able to put gas in her vehicle. I went in to intervene and lead mechanic/diagnostic tech and I had a heated exchange. I was trying to explain one thing and he was defensive saying he just fixed what he was told to fix and that the truck was never diagnosed. After several exchanges he walked out slamming the door. The very pleasant manager tried to calm the situation down and to no avail. The vehicle is still not working. My wife went to speak with them today and was told the mechanic was “in his feelings” and wouldn’t fix her truck. This is awful customer service. I’m throughly disappointed by the service and the aftermath of them not fixing the issue they created. I have yet to receive an apology or any other consideration. It’s to bad that this happened. I definitely won’t be going back and will never make another refferal.

I had my vehicle diagnosed on Friday and was told to bring my vehicle back in on Saturday morning. I brought the vehicle back in and they took the vehiclethen called me two hours later to tell me that they were going to be able to fix my car today. Not very good service.

Had a terrible experience just like the others. I took my car to change my battery and they have told me the price and we agreed. They didnt have the right tools so we had to wait for them to get them. They said it would be ready next day and I said ok. When I went back next day the car was ready. Except the lady told me that it took them long time to replace the battery, longer than they have expected and charged me much more than we have agreed upon. Honestly, I was expecting a discount since I had to wait for my car for an hour, then having to come back next day. Very unprofessional management. Cant say the same for the mechanics though.

That night I drove and the Oil light kept coming on so I checked it..IT WAS COMPLETLY EMPTY..so I took it back John Lee gave EVERY excuse why it wasnt HIS gault.Then to add insult to injury A meth rotten tooth employee cursed Me out lol..Mr Lee hopefully corrected the problem.. But I would NEVER go back and o earn alllll that enter.They USE to take pride in their work..Now ANYBODY with a screwdriver can work.

This place is a insult to mechanics, and surrounding businesses as it has a extensive track record for negligence and not owning up to its employees mistakes making it stick out as a sore thumb the services are mediocre to put lightly. On July 27th 2016 i took my 2006 Chrysler 300c awd in for an oil change. Mike the guy at the front desk drove the vehicle into the bay for Julio to change the oil. On July 30th 2016 i had to have my vehicle towed back to the shop in the rain. Monday August 1st I went back to macuils tire center and was told by Mike the front desk rep that Julio the very guy whod ignorantly destroyed The 5.7 liter hemi engine had done a analysis and that his findings where i quote Google says running a car without oil will not bother the engine or cause any problems shops self asserted master mechanic David refused to talk to Julio because I quote dont speak spanish when I asked about the Mexican employee of Id spoken with earlier translating for him I was told Julio was at another shop. In short this shop needs to be closed and farther have every employees history checked.

Acceptable service, but my vehicle was misaligned and I was not given warranty support. Because of his poor work, I had to buy tires again. Wrong!!

They should be 0 stars or less, due to poor service, I was there for an alignment for about three hours, they left the lights on all the time, my battery broke down, I talked to the owner and I was challenged to sue him if I wanted, a very despotic person. This is a warning to read the reviews before going to those places Macuil
