Im not one to ever leave reviews, but I feel like I can hopefully save some people the headache of dealing with this company. When I first moved to my place of residence it was under a different management company that I loved working with. When Covid hit, the building was put up for sale and bought by Rental RE. I have had some of the worst experiences with this management company when it comes to my unit. I have been a good tenant and always pay rent before it is due. My outlet in bathroom stopped working MONTHS ago and they still have not sent anyone to fix it. Instead they sent me a YouTube video on what to try. Im sorry but Im not an electrician and that could be dangerous. In the middle of summer my AC went out and it took going to the county department for anything to be done and it still took almost 2 weeks to fix while it was over 90 degrees in my apartment. It took over 2 weeks to get my microwave fixed. I have mold in the utility closet from it flooding and they are non responsive to my multiple requests to have it fixed even though I have told them I am highly allergic and it is a health code violation. Not even a communication back. Out of the many times Ive called the office, there is hardly ever an answer, and when they do, they just direct you to fill out a form online. Overall, not impressed and very poor service. My building is now being bought again and Im hoping that the new owners will not be like this company. If you can avoid renting through Rental RE, I most certainly would recommend steering clear of their properties.

I am a disabled vet that is retired. My AC unit went out and it’s in the 90s outside. I was hesitant about calling in to request a fix because of the many other reviews pointing out bad experiences. I called in anyways.As per previous reviews, the front desk lady was an abomination and the communication she conducts is what you’d expect in a trailer park disturbing the peace call. It was quite other worldly how this person treats other people.Despite the gun shots and other explosions in the neighborhood, and the poor upkeep, the most unappealing thing around here is the management.And the way the owner replies to these comments is just the tip of the iceberg. You can see that some commenters primary language isn’t English, and these people disregard the complaints and act like they don’t understand them.Continuing to do business with people of this ilk would have to be a charity service. If you have other options, take your business there. Otherwise you’re subsidizing people of this ilk’s behavior.Thank you very much,‘Murica

If I could give 0 stars to RRE, I would. I waited to write this review so they would not retaliate while I was renting through them. They consistently did not fix things that were broken (porch door, huge hole in our driveway, leaking roof) and then when they did send maintenance out, theyd come without notification. They even replaced the roof, like a year after they had already replaced it, with no notification that would be happening. Then our duplex neighbors called them and apparently RRE didnt even know that company would be replacing our roof! Our furnace broke during winter and they didnt replace it for a few days, when it was below freezing outside. If you have a choice, do NOT rent with them!

We rented with RRE Rental for 4 years and they were super responsive, affordable, professional, and attended maintenance requests within 24 hours! Super kind people! Never had a problem with them in the 4 years we lived in one of their properties. The only thing I would say is dont expect 100% of your security deposit back. However, once we moved out, I got a vital document delivered to my old address by mistake, and the landlady helped me reached out to the new tenants and get it back! She was super nice to help a former tenant when she didnt have to! and Ill be forever grateful.

We rented with Rental Real Estate for almost two years, and were really impressed with our experience. Our property manager was super responsive and was available by phone or text basically anytime. Additionally, we never got charged for stupid things that others probably would have charged us for. Maintenance was responsive, and our already low rent didnt get raised during our stay. I would highly recommend renting with rental real estate.

They have been absolutely wonderful to rent from! Any maintenance issues that arose, they had somewhere there that same day or within 24hours to correct the issue. They were easy to communicate with and one of the best experiences with a rental company Ive had! They were definitely flexible and worked well with me moving from out of state and during the pandemic, it was great to be seen as a person and not just a tenant providing their company income.

Multiple location are listed for one price, however when inquiring about listing, told a different price. Spoke to a representative about 4 different listing in Lincoln ranging in price for my recent collage grad. I was told repeatedly, that listed unit isnt available, but another unit for same building is available for a higher price. Four different posting!? A week later no changes to advertisement? Doesnt seem they update listing. Or they list units lower then actual price to get inquires. Decided not to do business with possible shady company practice. In addition, look at the posting response from the company. Makes you have 3rd thoughts. Good luck.

I love my neighbors, and the apartment is super comfy and affordable. However, I’ve been trying to get ahold them due to incident that wasn’t my fault, they sent me 14/30 day notices which was either pay $160 for some damages that I didn’t cause or Get evicted but I ended up paying because they weren’t answers my calls, or emails to set an appointment to clear this up. I haven’t yet heard from them even though I paid the $160 . I didn’t have a single issue with them for almost 2 years but I’m not sure if they are short on staff or just not taking care of business but I sure do know they are taking my rent money on time out of my bank. I’m not the only one having issues and it’s kind of sad because I honestly was recommending this company left and right. Hope this gets fixed soon and it’s only temporary issue they having.

I am in the process of renting with this company, and while I cannot speak to actual renting with them as of yet, I can say that my experience thus far has been very positive. I called quite last minute to see a property and they were able to meet me in 15 minutes to walk me through it. I did ask some questions about a few of the not great reviews and they chatted with me about them and were not offended by the questions. It is always awkward asking about those things, but they were patient with me and did not let it make the conversation turn sour.

Ive worked for this company for a lot of years and they are a great company. Friendly tenants and nice properties.

I have never been treated in a more unprofessional manner. Called to inquire about an apartment. I asked if another occupant would need to fill out a credit app if I were to be the sole person paying/responsible and the receptionist or owner or whoever answered simply said this probably wont work and hung up! Ha, what a joke of a property management company.

If they have 0 stars I will give this place 100000 million 0 stars. If u come to work u don’t want to pick up ur phone then don’t put ur number out people call for a reason they not just call for fun.

By far worst landlords. Very unpleasant every time Ive talked to them. Super leaky sinks, house falling apart. They would do nothing to correct things. They come over unexpected, when its illegal. They go by their own rules. Im really surprised they are still in business. I will never rent through them again. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! Any good review is obviously from themselves using a different account.

I wish I could give them negative infinite stars. They gave my fiance an applicationan after viewing the place, all seemed well. Took application fee money... And ignored him.They told him they thought he would have a roomate and that he would need more income. He makes 3 times the rent and has perfect credit history. There was absolutely no reason for them to decline him. Hes a responsible renter and worker.I however went with him to see the home to check the conditions, because he would be residing there with the babies while Im off to college... The lady did not ask us if I was going to be living there. She did not ask him before showing the home ,if he would have a roommate.. The rent for the dump was $800 they hadnt had the home ready when showing and it was falling apart. My fiance makes over $3,000 monthly before taxes and more now that hes starting a new job soon as well..They cannot make him have a roomate when he will be living with the babies, I wouldnt feel comfortable with that around the babies anyways. In other words they must be scum Lords looking for trash renters to move in thinking its already rentable ready.... What lying garbage. Dont waste your money with these ppl. They seem like they dont want ag renter to move in. Thats not a good sign.

I would probably not rent from RRE again if I had a choice. They did not communicate very well and are inconsistent with service.. sometimes wouldnt respond to a maintenance request for days, and other times were very on the ball with it.

Is it a scam that they ask you to apply before getting a tour?

I have literally never dealt with anyone that was so bad at managing a property and that screwed over their tenants so badly. We had a bathroom with a toilet that wouldnt flush properly (low water flow rate) and a constant leaky pipe. They sent someone over to take care of it and they said that there was nothing they could do because it would cost too much. After we moved out, they billed us for the clean up of the bathroom. Worst part, all they did was slightly brush the inside of the toilet. For the love of God, save yourself some stress and dont rent through them if at all possible. You will save money on your deposit and not have to deal with terrible service.

Im somewhat surprised by the negative reviews here - though several of them appear to be quite old. We have been renting from RRE for about 3 years now, and have never had problems. Things are always fixed in a reasonable timeframe (the next day when it was something serious, like the AC not working right, within a week for cosmetic/non-emergency issues like fixing a funky interior doorknob). The rent is totally reasonable, and while I cant speak to deposit recovery because we havent moved out, weve had nothing but positive experiences so far.
