Nice and clean, lots of heavy duty machines with different prices and load sizes, free parking, friendly staff, takes credit cards, distanced seating available (even during Covid), food and drink allowed. Felt very safe (as a small young female I’m always wary of laundromats in downtown areas).Only downside: prices are a little on the high side ($2.50-$11.50 per load washers, $.25-$1 per minute dryers). The door says they take Apple Pay but I didn’t see any machines that did.Coffee shop next door is convenient but they are only doing drive through (in my case, “walk through”) currently. Tons of smoothie choices and standard coffee choices, standard pricing.

SOAP has been fantastic! I use their pick-up and delivery service which is a great time saver. From the owner and manger to the pick-up/delivery drivers, the team members are all friendly and helpful. The quality of the professional laundering is top-notch. And I love the fresh smell of our uniforms when they are returned...not too strong, but enough to let you know its clean. Thank you SOAP!

The place is clean and the machines work. I had a weighted blanket that I was afraid would destroy my machine so I took it here and used the industrial sized machines. Served my purpose. It cost me over $20 to do that one blanket which I felt was on the high side of reasonable. Overall Im pleased and would return if necessary.

I love doing my laundry at this establishment. The staff are so helpful and hard working. The washing machines are huge and the dryers are huge.

The wash cycles were short, and the dryers were very fast at drying, my main complaints are with the dryer that stopped working half way through and kept eating my money and not turning back on, and the detergent dispenser ran out of tide and was already out of the other detergent. The whole place looked broken down and gross, and its only redeeming quality was the extremely friendly security staff we met while there. I’d recommend this place for people with smaller amounts of laundry and plenty of time, but if you have limited time, perhaps plan to go elsewhere.

Normally, Soap is nice. But especially during the pandemic, when so many other places have crowded machines and people totally ignoring all social distancing, I can count on most of my fellow patrons to mask up, and those who dont at least can give me a wide berth. So much better than any other place around and most, if not all machines now have a pay by app function, so you dont need quarters.

Best place to go when there is a scary homeless guy barricading himself in the laundry room at your apartment complex!

Overall this a good place to get your laundry done. They have machines of all sizes and some that accept cards. Lots of seating and some tvs that you can Netflix or Hulu on. Downside is that it seems a little dirty compared to other laundry mats, but its close by to me. Its also next to Lincoln Expresso so thats a bonus to me.

Fantastic place to do laundry. Updated and friendly day staff willing to help. Example, I was washing my clothes using two dryers, had to leave, and the clerk told me not to worry because they would dry them for me if I left the money and bag my clothes setting them in back locked up to come pick up the next day. How great is that?

I travel a lot, and most hotels have laundry. But today I decided to go out and use a liner Mac. I found this place on in the maps, read previous reviews, decided to give it a chance. Im gonna say its probably one of the best laundromats Ive ever been in, the young man who worked here was very observant very helpful and always very busy. Would highly recommend it

Cant ask much more from a laundromat. From college students to families, young professionals to retired. They serve the Lincoln community so well and always go above and beyond to make sure your experience is nothing short of fantastic. Great area to study or do work while you wait!

I like this place more than the laundry on site at my apartment. Its nice clean and quiet, there are vending machines and televisions to watch while you wash your clothes, and a coffee shop right next door! It is pretty convenient not to mention very close to downtown

A little pricey but I will spend more money to go here than anywhere else in town. Friendly staff, lots of tvs, reliable washers and dryers, AND many of the machines take a credit/debit card. They also have a machine that exchanges quarters for dollars, so you don’t have to bring your own quarters in. The owner is constantly working to make sure the machines are properly maintained and the place is kept clean!I was working at a gym, and our dryer burst into flames. We had a lot of towels that needed to be washed and brought back ASAP for gym members to use with the pool. I spent probably 6 hours at Soap over that week, running towels back and forth, and I didn’t mind at all. The owner was very helpful to open the door for me when I had big loads, and he let me pull my car all the way up front so I didn’t have to walk so far.10/10 recommend!!

When it first opened it seemed like one of the best places to go. Now we are using it temporarily until our washer and dryer come in and I remembered how clean it was. That has drastically changed! The first time we came there was no attendant and there was just trash every where and some unruly individuals. We came back the following week at a different time in hope of a different experience and this one was worse! Again, no attendant and this time there was a homeless man sprawled out on the couch in the back entrance.In addition, to the machines seemingly not having been dusted in awhile the care that they used to take in this location has gone so far down hill that I would never come back or recommend it to anyone else.

I didnt expect the quality of service I received. The guy on duty that day helped saved me from placing too much money in a machine and then when one machine didnt start due to a fault door, he fixed it and paid for my drying. I was very grateful.

Select machines have card readers for you to use either your credit/debit card, or you can get a free loyalty card from them which gives you a 10% discount on the machines. You can load the card from you debit or credit card or cash. They also have bill changers to get quarters

I had to wash comforters so we checked this laundromat out. It may not have the shiny bells and whistles some of the other laundromats have, but it was great. Prices were reasonable, vending machines were stocked. They have TVs and places for students to study or whatnot. Plenty of outlets for my kids electronics which now a days is important. :) my only critique would be the womens restroom. It was pretty gross when we were there. Thats my only reason for 4 not 5 stars.

I continue to be impressed with the ownership of SOAP and how they conduct business day to day. A clean environment, large capacity washers/dryers, free parking, wifi, vending machines and coffee shop next door. If you ever have questions, just ask one of their full time attendants on duty.

The place is great! Its not your average laundromat. It has conveniently located tvs to stave off boredom while doing the laundry. Tables to do your homework if you are a student. Coffee shop next door. Walking distance from campus and off street parking if you live far away. Right in downtown. And did I mention its spotless? And on top of it it all, the people are friendly and just like family. You cant go wrong here!

It is such a pleasure to come to this laundromat and do my laundry. It is very clean and well kept. Lots of machines to accommodate lots of people. They have coin and card machines of different sizes. It smells clean which is a big thing for me. Has wifi, vending machines, TVs with Netflix.

Clean and comfortable facility - love the card machines. The only place in town where I do my laundry. Sometimes its busy enough that I have to wait a bit - but thats how a public place is! Also a good sign for the owners. :3

SOAP is a great place to do laundry! The staff is friendly and helpful and the building has a comfortable feel. There are plenty of tvs to keep you entertained while you wait and plenty of outlets to charge phones and computers. Overall a good experience.

First, I’d like to point out that I’ve used Soaps laundry service and for the most part have had wonderful experiences. Fresh, well folded clothes and great service for most of the staff. I’d also like to point out I have little to no experience in a laundromat as this is my first time without a washer and dryer. My first experience was when i had 2 serious fractures in my left leg. I was attempting to walk across the laundromat carrying an awkward load of clothes with crutches. I couldn’t figure out where to go and no one seemed to acknowledge my awkward shuffle. I walked all the way across the building without receiving assistance. The attendant at the desk said he wasn’t in charge of the laundry service and left my phone number for whoever was in charge. I didn’t ask for help carrying the second bag of laundry as I didn’t think it would have been well received. The lady at the register upon pickup was more than willing to help so i assumed my first experience was a fluke. My second poor experience was largely due to my laundromat ignorance, however, it could have been avoided with proper service. I walked in at 945 with my clothes noticing the laundromat closes at 11. I looked for an attendant to ask if i had enough time but couldn’t find any employees. By the time I got everything in order, it was around 10:10. I saw that the washing machine timer said it would take 18 minutes so i assumed it would be okay. The washing machine ends up taking 35 minutes. The same man who watched me stumble around with my laundry on crutches walks in at 10:30 repeating “out at 10:55.” After seeking clarification, he told me “it doesn’t matter if my clothes are dry, I need to be out at 10:55.” I would have understood if someone was there to stop me or if there was more signage regarding their last wash policy. I was forced to leave with wet clothes to find another laundromat which would let me dry them.

This is by far the most well kept laundromat i ever been to. When you come here you feel like your at home. The vibe here is safe an sounds no worries the prices are very reasonable an the staff is great. Conveniently located in the dowtown area plenty of parking aviable. Love this place.

For starters the staff is great, very friendly, helpful and down to earth. Then the machines are great, never had a problem with drying or laundering. They should put more card operated washers though.

Soap is the nicest, cleanest, and probably largest laundromat in Lincoln. Its amazingly clean. Every washer size from small two load machines to enormous 9 load washers. Dryers from small to 7.5 loads. Wifi was great, just cant say enough. Cant say enough good things!!!

Ive been on a cross-country cycling trip for charity primarily for people with disabilities (Journey of Hope with Push America) and this place is great! Probably the best laundromat Ive visited since starting in San Francisco. The establishment was very clean, with new and efficient washers and dryers. The wifi was fast while waiting for my wash to finish. TV monitors were also very entertaining. Ran into a little issue with the place closing before my laundry was finished drying, but the attendant and owner handled the incident wonderfully. Although the washers are a little pricy, the cleanliness of my wash and the effectiveness of their machines were definitely worth the cost. Even so, they have a variety in sizes for washer machines to fit the right price for your load. If only they could stay open a little later, but alas! it was a great visit nonetheless!

This place they gave me my washer was broke by my landlord and I love that they have extra large washing machines or Machines of every variety every load size I used a large one and watched everything at once and got out of there it was wonderful inexpensive free Wi-Fi very safe for being downtown Lincoln great place for college and or people that have their own washers destroyed by their landlords

Brought in drop off service, requested clothes to be folded and dress shirts to be ironed and hangered (offered services). Dont believe they ironed any of the shirts, but they hangered three of the eight dress shirts. The others they wadded (theyre version of folding) and threw them in the trash bag with my other folded clothes. Anyone that knows another/better drop off service in Lincoln, please email me.

I have been using soaps laundry services for a year now it has always been extremely clean and fair in prices the machines work fabously and the dryers always dry the first time I recommend this place to anyone ...also There is a staff member named geo probably one of the nicest guys I washed all my blankets and sheets etc and overloaded one of the machines by accident this young man fixed the problem and paid for the machines to start again something that was entirely my fault he took apon himself to make sure my experience was great thank you soaps

They have WiFi but goodluck using it. There must be a 56K modem in the back running on a free copy of AOL dial-up because it is freakishly slow. Google takes a full minute to load. Short of looking at text files on a white background you cant do much here other than wait.

HOORAY!!! I know of no other laundry facility that offers free dry days....I love it..working on a tight budget..drying can get costly..great customer service and its keep cleaned an maintanced well...what a great way to keep me coming back!!!!
