Allo is putting in their lines in our neighborhood. No prior warning when they were coming they just showed up and dug 2 very deep holes in our backyard. When they were done the workers left a bunch of trash in our yard like water bottles and chip bags and candy wrappers. When they came back to fill in the holes they put a big box in our yard right in front of our swing set so now my kids wont be able to swing where it currently is. I am not sure why they wouldnt have put their box on the other side of the fence where there are already 2 other companies boxes in 2 yards that do not have a fence or small children. They also left our gate open to our fence and when my son who has autism went out to play he left our usually locked fenced in yard and started to wander the neighborhood. He was missing for 30 minutes and we found him 4 blocks from home. This is unacceptable. They will definitely not be getting my business.Update. They ended up moving the pedestal on the other side of the fence where the other boxes are. They also filled in the holes and put grass seed down. The only problem was they cut our cable wire in the process but spectrum came and fixed it 2 days later.

Those minions over at Spectrum keep door knocking and mailing out offers because they know they are trash and cant get business any other way. All the new changes have disrupted our daily TV habits. With our busy schedules we use the DVR and restart option a lot. Since the recent changes, channels we use daily have had the wrong shows listed and now theres no info available at all. Which means no recording. Other channels have removed the restart option. Just this morning I had used it but by this afternoon the option was gone. Its all blamed on the networks but it hadnt happened until ALLO made the changes that started the problems.Sometimes audio cuts in and out. Internet speeds are never consistently high and they say our house wouldnt benefit from the new blast router. I have their extender which doesnt help much. This has been a better provider than spectrum and dish.

Heres what really grinds my gears. I had to pay for an entire month where I didnt have access to the internet being provided at my residence. I wont bore you with the details, but Allo claimed to have no record of my multiple calls throughout the August asking for help.My suspicion is that they have inadequate call center tools. In this day and age, if youre not tracking every interaction you have with a customer, what are you even doing? It bothers me that this issue wasnt enough for me to switch ISPs because of how awful all the other options are in Lincoln.However, quality is reliable and I talked to a couple people who seemed to care so they get an extra star.Oh, and whichever HR person is about to reply to this - dont bother unless yall are ready to investigate this with the possibility of giving me a $40 refund or, well, to change.

If you are a gamer and still on Spectrum or Windstream, just make the switch now!I am a very heavy internet user and had consistent issues with both of the aforementioned companies - dropped packets, internet randomly dropping, etc. - and have been on Allo for a month without a hint of an issue. In addition, my average ping for US based severs dropped from 80-100 on other providers to 20-30 with Allo.The technician who helped route my cable in my house was very nice as well(wish I remembered his name). I have a finished basement, and while he didnt want to cut holes in the drywall himself, was happy and willing to work with me to take the extra time and route the cable where I needed.

Terrible. I recently relocated to Lincoln for work and moved into an apartment. I went online and signed up for internet with Allo because that’s who my apartment recommended. They called me a few days later to set up a time to install. I told them I would be at work but I have a key release signed. The day they were supposed to install they show up and don’t get the key from the office and instead wait 15 minutes before leaving. I call them later on my break and they said they could come by first thing the next morning. I again said I’d be at work but there is a key release. They told me that would be fine. I’m at work all day then and I get home and still have no internet. I called and they said someone may still show up because they install until 9 pm and it was only 6. Shocker, nobody showed up. I called AGAIN the next morning and then they got someone out right away. That was nice but I’m pretty sure the tech that installed was making personal calls to his wife while installing the internet. Now today, I login to my account and see that I was charged $70 for 500 Mbps when I elected to have only 50 Mbps for $45 since it’s just me living here. I’m so frustrated and am dreading having to call in the morning because this whole thing has been such a mess. Long story short, get your internet somewhere else.

Allo has a major problem with abusing and over working their employees and have very shady pay practices where they offer bonus pay at or after x amount of time then move you to different projects for the sole purpose of not having to pay you what they say they are going to. 50+ hours a week and a team that doesnt care to improve or be proactive with problems.

Allo is absolutely amazing! Had an outage at my job today and the phones were jammed full because I assume everyone and their dog were calling due to outage. I went to their website on my phone and did their chat agent. They were absolutely wonderful to and soon enough we got our business internet and phone back. Best customer service from an ISP ever!

We needed to re-side our house due to hail damage, which we did over Memorial Day Weekend. When we got back, our Allo internet didn’t work. I called the customer service number, thinking since it was a holiday they wouldn’t respond at all or that I would sit on hold on the phone for hours. Instead, within an hour of calling, there was a technician at my house to fix a pinch in the line that wasn’t even caused by Allo. If you have ever dealt with a low voltage company, you know how exceptional this customer service is. I’m a customer for life.

Horribly sporadic and when they sent someone to help he didnt even take the time to look at my router. He was on his phone said he did something and it worked marginally better for the rest of the day. The next morning I had about half a page to write on a paper for a class and I had 4 hours to do it. I barely got it done in time with how horrible the internet was. The JITTER would randomly shoot to numbers well over 100 ms and my download and upload would randomly drop below 10. I have also noticed any time that I wish to use two devices the internet completely dies. NOT HAPPY.I also think their speed test is full of it because I use any other speed test and the numbers are far far worse.

I have never regretted switching to Allo. The service has been rock solid. Twice now they have upgraded my service without me needing to ask and for free. Having come from Spectrum who were only concerned with increasing your bill, Allo is a very welcome change. Allo upgrades your speed and hardware whenever they can. Spectrum blames you for their deteriorating lines, outages and generally horrible service. It doesnt take a genius to figure out that Allo actually values their customers.

Ive called several times due to buffering/dropped signal. Each time I get stonewalled and told that because Im using my own router (2yrs old, BTW) that you cant offer support. I find that strange, since I had ZERO problems with your predecessor using same router. My internet just keeps getting slower and slower. I was not offered your NEW, INCLUDED router when I signed up. Im sure theres some type of lease fee thats not disclosed on the advertisement.Update: So they came out around 10 days ago to install their own router, and my service is worse yet. We have a minimum of 3-4 times each day that we have NO signal at all, including today. Im using a hotspot because Im unable to call them until they open at 9am. This will be my last attempt to work this out with them before I switch back to Spectrum. What a total letdown.

I called to see if I could get a $25.00 reconnect fee waived. I was only one day late paying. I just forgot about the bill and it was only one month I was behind on. They also made my next bill $67.00 plus taxes, which they didnt use to do. It was a flat $65.00.I was told the $25.00 fee could not be waived because they waived it once in Feburary. I do not remember this at all. Yes, I should keep better track of my bills, but I was also having to help keep track of my disabled daughters bills too so it was very overwhelmingly. A $25.00 penalty fee is outrageous though!!! Now my @!#$ bill is over $90.00 for one month.I will be looking into going back to Windstream once my son moves out and I am the only user. They have a $25.00 planThey only changed late fees, not a #@%@ penalty fee.On another note, when Allos contractors were installing in my neighborhood, they broke the city sewer line and the one in my home also.

I had Allo installed and unfortunately for the install tech it took quite a long time, but they saw it through to the end. I like the straight forward pricing. Tech support is really good, much better than my previous ISP provided. The fiber speed coupled with the Allo Blaster device works well for all the new devices coming online these days. Very happy with the service so far.

Customer service sent a tech out he swapped out some equipment and said itll work great. We still have constant buffering and drop outs. We made the switch to Allo about 6 months ago and I do believe it is the worst decision we could have possibly made. I’ve never written a review on anything before so that should show how frustrated I am with this service. Since we’ve gotten Allo, we have seen our internet speeds drop drastically, sometimes to the point where me and my roommates, who are students, have absolutely no connection for us to do our homework. Turn on 1 smart TV, and the entire house is void of internet essentially. We initially told them about our speeds, and they sent someone with a new router, and big surprise, it was actually slower than the one that was being replaced. Save yourself the time and the hassle, go Spectrum.

Kenny is an amazing technician who has helped install fiber in 2 homes of mine this year. He was very creative and worked smart to get my box in the right place to cover the whole house. He actually took the time to run wires from the basement and hid the box in our ceiling which was very smart. He helped me again today with a new house a year later and remembered me! Kenny set me up in under an hour and everything is great. I cant recommend him or Allo enough. My service has always been solid.

I have had Allo since the beginning in Lincoln. I work in IT / Web / Marketing, so my knowledge of infrastructure issues exceeds most consumers. Service has been outstanding. The few times when I did need to call ALLO, I got a real person answering, rather than a automated directory. Speed has always been excellent. If any of you people are having speed issues, its likely because you are on WIFI and caused by interference with other networks in the area. This would apply to TV broadcasts as well, since ALLO uses WIFI with your TVs boxes. Be patient, they will get to the bottom of it and fix it. Just a matter to changing the WIFI channel you are on. I have a feeling that most of the people posting negative reviews work for Spectrum / Charter / Time Warner. You will never see these kinds of speeds on other networks.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Allo and everything they have done for Lincoln and myself. My connection speeds are always top notch and paying bills or troubleshooting has never been easier with any company, period. James specifically helped me with my new laptop and troubleshooter with me for a good 40 minutes of his time trying to help me configure my laptop for better performance with the internet. Unfortunately it was a hardware issue so it was completely the laptop itself. His general knowledge however on how to improve my speeds regardless has done wonders for me. My only complaint is that now all of my friends come over to download games or movies because no one can beat the speeds Allo provides.

Watch your bills, and keep track of every transaction. They will bill you for an extra month after you stop your service. I put down a $100 deposit. I should have had a credit. I still havent seen a final bill. I ended service on April 2, and turned in the equipment same day. Poor customer service that day also. I asked then if I settle bill that day. He said I would see last bill in the mail. He was sending me on my way. I had to let him know I was moving out of state, you need an address.I have not yet seen final bill. Rarely do I write a review - but I actually had the best customer experience Ive had in awhile and it was really worthy. I had Allo for nearly two years in South Lincoln - zero issues - ever. I remember the installation was very fast and the guy was plenty friendly and respectful.Just now I called to cancel service as Im moving to a more remote area of Nebraska where Allo is not around. They seriously handled it in under three minutes. Yolanda was kind, informative, and honest. No cancellation fee and they refunded the unused days of the month I had already paid for prorated (WHAT! I feel like this never happens with internet companies!!). It was the easiest Ive ever cancelled anything in my life.Ill be back in Lincoln in a few months and Yolanda just ensured Ill be returning to Allo, as well.

There is no automated system, there is always someone to talk to quickly. Plus when they say they will call you back, they actually do.The biggest reason we switched in the first place was because of the poor quality from Spectrum, weve had Allo for a little over a week and have had no issues. With two teens in the house and myself working from home, we are always on our phone/laptops and there is no more buffering or rebooting.. At. All.There was an issue with the contractor who installed it in my yard. My retaining wall and ground was dug up so bad it will need some work to put it so back. But... That is a concern with them and not Allo. Infact Allo has been very helpful so I can get the issue resolved.I wish we would have taken the leap into Allo sooner and will encourage any one to take the leap as well!

We work from home via internet. Started service 18 months ago. Opted for 500 mb band width. I have internet tv, wifi, and land-line phone on Allo plan. We use 7 or 8 wifi devices. Desktop speed is consistently about 60 mbs. TV never has a buffering issue. Have had zero disruptions of service. This is the best service I have ever had in 33 years of being online. Very pleased.

My internet speeds are phenomenal and I never lose connection. 5 stars for service. The price is high compared to what the competition offers though. I guess you pay for what you get.

Very sad I attempted using Allo at all. The speeds for us were far less than Spectrum. The only option seemed to be paying more per month for an extender which we did not need with Spectrum. Using them messed up our camera security system. They had zero interest in helping us figure out why. When I cancelled I was told I needed to drop off the equipment. I believe they should pick it up. It’s not our fault their system failed for us. Very disappointed as we thought we were upgrading.

Would give it no stars, but thats not an option. Allo dug up my backyard and left a mess and cut my sprinkler system in 2 places and wont even pay for it!

After talking to a tech once again (several times in the year we have had Allo) The tech I talked to actually told me that if I had them come out again it was going to cost me AGAIN to have them out. When I finally said I would look elsewhere for service, he asked when I wanted my services to be shut off. Great Customer Service there, not even willing to try and save a customer. I would not recommend.

Have had nothing but trouble streaming tv with the new ALLO 6 blast. Going to go back to old internet. Really starting to wonder if I made a mistake by switching to ALLO.

This company is TERRIBLE!!! They are unethical and a bunch of liars. There have been several instances of them cutting through sewer pipes, sprinkler lines, and even gas lines! They dig in people’s yards with no permission and no warning. They refuse to take responsibility for their poor work. They are arrogant because they know that the average person can not afford to take them to small claims court when they damage someone’s property (in some cases in the amounts of thousands of dollars). Just flat out horrible.Update: Allo claims they are β€œdisappointed to read about my experience with ALLO and the construction process.” Basically the equivalent of β€œI’m sorry you feel that way.” They also claim they would like to get me in touch with someone who can address my concerns. Whelp it’s not like people don’t try!!! After three months of calling them and getting shuffled around, they finally tell people with legit complaints they are SOL. They REFUSE to take any responsibility for damage inflicted on people’s personal property. It’s a nice standard β€œresponse from the owner” that rings hollow with anyone who has actually had to deal with their costumer service. Is there a way to rate them as 0 stars?

Internet for me has been very solid and reliable. The cable however freezes daily and many times a day. Usually for just 2 or 3 minutes at a time. But it can get very frustrating trying to watch a show or news. I would recommend the internet but not the cable.Thank you ALLO for addressing my issue immediately. I just assumed it was a problem that everyone had to deal with. Hopefully with your help it will be fixed now. Thank you again.

I had an issue where my PlayStation wouldnt let me sign in. It gave me an error code that basically said my IP was blocked due to an update. The guy I talked to was awesome (wish I remembered his name). He tried all kinds of things to get me a new IP, and was just basically a cool guy to talk to, until he finally found a solution. All in all Ive been very happy with Allo but this customer experience solidified my confidence in them as a quality ISP. 10/10 would recommend.
