Great facilities, staff and gym. I lift and they’ve got three racks, three separate bench press racks, and plenty of barbells to go around.Pool is great. Locker rooms are spotless. Hot tub is great, though its not as hot as I’d prefer which is obviously subjective.We’ve taken our nieces & nephews to both indoor and outdoor pools. They love the slides.Well worth a membership.

Bring a chair if using indoor pool, there is no pool side seating.🤷‍♂️My experience is mostly using the indoor pool. There is a small slide, a good size open swim area with depths where my 5 year old can touch to a deep end that might be 5 feet. There is a small slide. There is a hot tub, a lazy river type thing and swimming lanes. Overall it is a nice facility that is well kept. BIG PROBLEM is there isnt any seating unless you sit outside in the waiting area. Makes it very hard to watch my kids. So I have started to bring my own chair, it works, but you really shouldnt have to bring a chair to a indoor pool it is such a inconvenience. We continue going because my kids do have a good time.

Beautiful facility. Horrid management, hours. Restrictive and unnecessary rules. You would think collaborating with a school would make it family friendly. ITS NOT.

Took my 8 year old daughter to swim this morning and they have “Adults only” hours ……. What a joke after a pandemic that kids aren’t allowed during morning hours during a hot summer day! You do a great job collecting the monthly dues on time. The “genius” that came up with the pool schedule needs to be let go……. Adults that want adults only pool should look into Las Vegas or Cancún getaway

I tried out the Copple YMCA today. Very nice, only 3 years old. The exercise room has state of the art equipment and free weights. Lots of room so you never have to wait for a machine. They have a huge indoor and outdoor pools with a waterslide, aquatrack, whirlpool. Big child watch center. Family teen room with a ping pong table. Spacious locker room.

While watching our kids in the next class over the room next door felt the need to blast their music and leave the door open. Not saying this is news worthy information but Is worth a review based on the kind of people you may deal with. I closed the door to their class to be considerate of everyone else and a woman claiming to be the instructor comes out and was super rude to me for closing the door. I asked the manager if they could close the door and she didn’t know and said she would get an answer by next week. Manager doesn’t know the rules of her own gym and the staff talk to members like garbage. I would highly recommend staff become trained and facilitate a professional courteous environment for their members.

Had the worst experience of my life in the pool. some manager came out and started yelling at me and my friends for not swimming in the recreational lap lane. she than came back out because she feels the need to yell at children for fun and told us to leave because we were talking and not swimming.manager had a god complex and was very unprofessional. canceled my membership

I was teaching my younger brother to swim and got a warning from an older manager in a green polo. She told us that we couldn’t be in the lane if we weren’t swimming but the lane had a red cone which means family/recreational swim. I told her this and was snarled at and then the lady walked away - so unprofessional

My wife and I have and continue to be members for 1 1/2+ years. The facility is well-maintained, is good to followup on needs such as equipment that may not be working and overall support. We are pleased with the hours and quality of staff.One need is that the use of cellphones is increasing primarily through exercisers whom speak on the phone at a level that it is noticeable nearby persons. This is a tough situation but it needs to be addressed.Ideas...broadly post warnings and have an amnesty for a few weeks then make announcements then steadily enforce the rule.This is a basic expectation that needs to be enforced--it is not at this point and it detracts from the overall potential and meeting expectations.Overall, we are very pleased with the opportunity to use the YMCA and we appreciate the hard-work of the staff. It is a quality place.

The overall environment is good for adults. But very disappointed with their youth swimming class. My son had an almost drawn experience in the class. Some Instructors were just talking to guys and ignored the little kids walking into the deep water. Both me and my son were scared to death. And what even worse was that nobody cared. They could not even find my incident report card when I followed up a week later. And sadly the same thing happened again two weeks later for my friend’s little girl. Definitely will not register any youth class here.

Copple Family YMCA is hands-down the best YMCA in town! The pool is just amazing and spacious, fully equipped with three lap lanes, a vortex water slide, an aqua track (think a lazy river, but smaller), a whirlpool, a shallow end, and a relatively deeper end. The water temperature is extremely warm as well.Okay, now lets talk about the exercise facilities: they are really nice. Wide, open studios that are used sometimes for classes (free with the YMCA membership), a lot of exercise equipment (so there is no wait), a huge Child Watch center, a Family/Teen room with a Ping-Pong table--you name it, they probably have it!

I thought it was nice. But when I went to the basketball gym I got kicked out for drinking Gatorade on the court. Which I understand and respect. But then an employee walks in and is drinking a McDonald’s McCafé on the court. That wasn’t impressive.

Copple YMCA is a beautiful facility with an excellent staff. There is plenty of close parking. There is always someone cleaning the entryway and at least one staff member available for cleaning or to answer questions in the large cardio/weight room. They also have spacious locker rooms, gorgeous indoor pool area, a great outdoor pool, and ample rooms for various classes. All that said, I believe the best part is their childcare, aka Child Watch. My littles are always willing to go and the teachers are amazing. The room is very large with lots to do. They keep the babies separate from the older kids. They always have craft projects and stories being read and will take the kids into the gym for some large motor activity. my family has tried many options and this affordable option is where we are going to stay!

Just as they have it set up great for kids its also great for adults. I like the 19 and over adult locker rooms. The equipment is clean. I also like the eco friendly dryers in the bathrooms and the green cleaning cloths for the equipment.

I love this place! The fitness classes are fun, with excellent instructors. The facility is great, staff is friendly and helpful, the child watch people are great with my littles, and the pools are fun!

Wonderful equipment and staff! Cant beat the YMCA family/community focused atmosphere. The new Copple Family Y is a beautiful facility.

Never Been Treated With So Much Disrespect Like I Was Treated By Melissa (Auqa Director). Needless To Say She Started A War. This Ain’t Gunna Go Unnoticed!

If you do anything in this facility besides deadlift or anything that starts on the ground like a power clean in the free weight area, you should be ok. But on the chance you do, this is the worst place to go. First of all they do not have a platform for this which for me isn’t a big deal but something worth noting. The thing I have a problem with is that you have to do these movements over the check in area upstairs. My experience with this has been horrible. I am 15 and 140 pounds and am not doing anything over 325 for reps, for anyone thinking I’m “dropping” 900 pounds. Barely 2 sets into my workout I was told I was “slamming the weights”by an employee and I will be kicked out if I continue. I don’t think he understood what “dropping it” meant. I did not let the bar leave my hands until the set was complete. I was doing dead stop reps and was controlling the weight on the decent of each rep. I asked if I could do it somewhere else and he said yes. I had brought my gym bag and the plates and bar to the opposite side of the gym section and loaded up the bar when I was told I was to bring them all the way back from where I got them because he asked his manager after he made a decision. If anyone is serious about getting stronger at movements like this, your business should be held elsewhere. I hope this was just an unlucky day, but I will not be returning to the Copple YMCA

The basketball gym is beautiful and everyone there is friendly

Went there to play pickup basketball with my friends and I payed $12 for a day pass (kind of expensive). We showed up and the gym was empty so we played full court. One of the worker came in and said we can’t play full court, so we read the rules on the gym wall and it didn’t say anything about not playing full court, so we go back in and right when we start the game back up he brings a manager and kicks all 8 of us out. We were there maybe an hour and there was only 2 other people playing basketball and they were in a different gym. Very rude, gave no explanation why we got kicked out, and lost 8 customers to which we will never go back.

It’s as good as you’d expect a brand new ymca to be. Lots of equipment, never had to wait for cardio, or machine weights, limited wait time for certain free weights. Pools are great. Staff is amazing. Locker rooms are clean and spacious. Childwatch is on point. Our kid loves it. Lots of programs for families.

There is no help from staff as far as weights are concerned...I have also spotted some of the employees who are supposed to be watching young children on their phones. The staff are sometimes rude as well and when I asked if I could use a friends pass to get in (I was not familiar with the rules) one of the workers got pissed and said I was trespassing. After they explained I paid and still used the facility but they were very rude. Switching my membership to Prairie Life.
