Its also an intimate work setting, so you will have their undivided attention. I purchased a certified refurbished Apple MacBook, and it works beautifully and gave me a very fair price. I like the manager, and the technicians that work there. I havent heard back from them since I emailed my resume to them to read over, but I took the A+ certification(both hardware & software cores) exam this Thursday and did not pass.When I do pass it, I hope I can get my feet wet working for this great computer store and help make it awesome! Excellent service. The diagnosis fee is very reasonable and part of it is applied to the repair. I didnt feel taken advantage of and the repair was top notch.

I took my Dell computer to Computer Sleuths for service. It was not charging and was very slow. They replaced the hard drive and charging port. It is working great now according to my daughter who uses it for school. Now I dont have to spend money on a new computer.

Purchased a Chromebook from Computer Sleuths, only to discover it was missing something I needed. This in and of itself is no fault of Computer Sleuths, however I was not able to return the Chromebook when I had purchased it less than 3 hours ago.Update: Computer Sleuths let me trade in for another laptop, and I was assured it would do what I asked for. However, once again, I was lied to.

One of the few honest computer repair shops! 3 Blown capacitors on my motherboard, and instead they rebuilt the entire computer for a fraction of the cost more than to replace just the motherboard. Michael and Philip will get you back up and running fast and afford-ably!

Ive bought two Macs from these guys and theyve always been super helpful and fair. One of the hard drives crashed on one recently and they fixed it for a fair price and even let me pay it back in payments so that I could have my fixed CPU back without having to wait to have the money! Really friendly neighborhood tech spot!

They did a great job and did it quick. However I was assured that I would be given a call if anything else needed to take place in my computer other than what we talked about. Then they charged me for installing an extra part without my knowledge and were very unapologetic for it. Honesty goes a long way in my book. Im unsure Ill be returning.

Thank goodness I found this place in time to avoid an expensive mistake. I needed a computer for work and my old one was not working. Then I went to a big box store looking for a budget computer. Salesperson managed to up-sell me by 125% on a computer that would supposedly do the job that the budget one would not do (according to big box salesperson). That night I decided to look around for a local small business and found Computer Sleuths in Buford.At Computer Sleuths, Corliss was a tremendous help...and honest. He could have sold me a bunch of expensive parts to fix my old computer, but instead laid out the options (which included fixing my old computer). I walked out of there with a faster computer than the big box computer, and at half the price. Great service, knowledgeable, and best of all...no head ache.

I have had the WORST experience with Computer Sleuths in Buford. First, I took my computer in to be fixed and was told they would restore my files for an extra $50 charge. I picked up my computer a few days later and all of my pictures were gone! I was told to bring my computer back in the next day and they would run a program to recover everything that was ever on my hard drive, great I thought. My husband picks up the computer the next morning and all of the pictures are still missing but I do have pictures of strangers on my computer. I call extremely upset and the manager is rude and insists he could not have made an error..........REALLY???? Now I have to take in the computer again to see if he can fix his huge error. To top it off he will not even give the name of the owner to the place!! Never take your computer here to be fixed unless you want a huge headache!!!!

I definitely recommend Computer Sleuths. Ive been there a few times and have been very happy with the service and tech support. Rine and Emily are outstanding. Emily is very personable and remembers me when I visit. Rine is very knowledgeable especially when it comes to Apple computers. I needed hard to find hard drive screws and they took their time to look through their inventory to find the right ones. The service charges were very reasonable. Highly recommend them for any repair.

In addition, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Super speedy, quality service was provided, and very affordable as they took my budget into consideration while working on my laptop to get it back to better than pre-virus/hack condition. Brought my mac book in after having spilled milk poured all in the keyboard. Corlis was awesome! I also brought my sons PC in. I have been to Computer Sleuths a number of times, and I have recently had the absolute worst customer service with them. I went to them with a list of issues I was having with a Mac Book Pro and their solution is to install a new OS. It fixed none of the problems, but created a few new ones. To add insult to injury they damaged my battery. It looks like it was caught on something in their shop and pulled the cover open. Now they wont fix it, and denied damaging it... of course. Then they hung up on me. They may be cheap, but you get what you pay for.Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable repair shop. Apple doesnt even recommend them anymore.

If there were more stars id add them. Computer Sleuths is my new go to computer store. My laptop died and i got a new laptop, data transfer and follow up support at a terrific price. They were extrememly helpful even after the sale.....you dont get that at big box stores!

Horrible customer service. The manager Wes is just rude. They didnt fix anything on my labtop and wanted to charge me $120. All that was wrong with the computer is that the charger was bad. Then, I was unable to get my computer in time due to personal events and they wiped my computer, they threatened not to give it back because it was their property now. And when I tried to explain that their hours are wrong on google and I didnt go over the weekend to get it because they had the wrong hours listed, they gave me a even harder time. I work during the week their listed hours are pretty much my schedule. I absolutely never will do business with these crooks again. Take your computer elsewhere. UPDATE: THEY GAVE ME MY COMPUTER BACK BROKEN.

They did a great job saving the pictures and documents on my CPU. i also purchased a refurbished laptop and its working great. I got the refurbished laptop at a great price by the way!!!

Took my ASUS laptop in this morning because it would not power up. Turns out it was a simple reset problem and these guys fixed it for me and showed me what to do in the future. No charge! I will be back for sure!!
