I have been using Insurance Specialists for several years now. They are by far the best insurance company I have ever used. I own five cars a large boat and jet ski and they take care of all of those plus my homeowners insurance. I have had an issue with a couple of minor claims in the last few years and they always made sure I was taken care of and that my rates remained good even if they had to put me with a different insurance carrier. They are simply the best!They also respond quickly to any requests. Dawn is my agent and she is fantastic They will always have my business as long as she is there. Great job

The reason youll see a lot of reviews here, good ones even, is because this agency offers a small monetary compensation to customers who take the time to review them. Im glad I didnt take them up on this, because, even after two years, Im still annoyed at what they did to me in a very critical time.Ill be fair and say that I was with them for four years, and they are very good at what they do - as long as you dont have extra questions or concerns. So I was happy with them from 2013 to 2017.Then in came 2017, I was purchasing a new car. I was at the dealership dealing with the paperwork; a stressful circumstance in itself. I contacted them to let them know of this change. There was some back and forth with Holly, and after a bit, I got my new insurance policy.I still had questions regarding the premiums, and decided to call them once more. Holly had a very annoyed tone, ending every sentence with Do you have any other question? You know, yes thats for six months-do you have any other question? Youll get the IDs in your mailbox-do you have any other question? as if trying to end the conversation asap with an undesirable person.I left the conversation feeling, I dont know how to describe it; bitter about the experience. Im a paying customer. I was in the middle of purchasing a new car. These guys had been my agency for four years. And thats the treatment I get?! Unacceptable. I called them back, and told them to cancel my policy. They told me to make the request via e-mail (Im guessing for paper trail reasons.) And so I did. They canceled the policy within minutes, no questions asked. Again, I have to give it to them; theyre good at what they do, I guess, since they processed my request immediately.I got a new insurance policy online, with the same company they work with, on my own, on the spot, and for $20 less than what they quoted me (I got the e-mails to prove this.) So at least a good thing came out of this whole experience.Anyway. In summary: need an agency that expects customers to go through their process without questions or concerns? Theyre perfect. Otherwise, your mileage may vary, and best of luck.This review brought to you with me receiving $0 in compensation.

I had a very positive experience with the Insurance Specialists. The agent explained my options thoroughly and answered all of my questions. He also gave extra information regarding Nevada laws and examples of issues that other clients had dealt with. I left feeling like I was appreciated as a customer and that I had made a solid choice in coverage. I received additional documents and my insurance card in the mail promptly. I walked in [no appointment] and was acknowledged immediately. I didnt wait more than 5-7 minutes. The agent I worked with was highly knowledgeable and capable, and set me up with an insurance plan that I am very comfortable with. It was quick and easy. Due to difficulties with AAA I had to cancel my insurance right away. The only company open on a Saturday was the Insurance Specialists. Thankfully Robert was able to find me a WAY better deal and I was able to add my renters insurance for an even better discount!
