Been going there for years for repairs & parts.Today no customers & none of the seasoned guys. Need a Polaris repair..Politely told they dont repair them & IF they did, would take 1-2 weeks !!! and sent me on my way to another store 4 miles away🤬 Won’t ever go back to this store again.

TOP NOTCH customer service! Tony is extremely knowledgeable and spent over 15 minutes with me on the phone going over all of the facets of pool pumps.

Very helpful staff. Thought we were doomed. Pool pressure vessel valve blew off, brought the part in, the guy knew exactly what it was, in less than a minute told me part out of stock. No problem, he called a nearby same store, got it in 10 min. Impressed with knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Saved the day.

I have been wanting to upgrade to a variable speed pool pump for about 6 months. The assistant manager David Hunter was informative and knowledgeable regarding the pros and cons of the different manufacturers. He took his time with me to make sure I was going to be satisfied with my final decision. I purchased the Pentair Itelliflo VSF. The pump is everything David said it would be. It’s quiet and powerful enough to run my solar heater and the chlorine generator while only using a mere 360 watts of electricity per hour. Thanks David for all your help!

Returned 4 chlorine jugs. They never credited me the $30.00 deposit. Said they had no record of it. They had record of my purchases that day though! But they say they count jugs every night so they would be on top of it if there were unaccounted jugs. Lost my future business with this franchise. Have been a customer over 6 years. Selling house, will not recommend to new owners. Very disappointing!!

Walked in to get help with my new hot tub as they advised pool and spa and was told nothing wrong with it try again and he was abrupt and said we really only do pools, well why do you advertise spas too. He states if you continue to have trouble go to spa manufacturers well I will I will not be back...

Have been using this store since moving nearby several months ago. They are friendly and efficient and take the time to explain things. The prices are what you would expect in a pool store but the personal service is well worth it.

Switched to this place from Belleair pool service because Belleair pool service sucks so bad really bad customer service & high prices

5 stars isnt enough in my opinion!These guys will go out of their way to help with any question or concern. They take their time and make sure youve gotten what you need. The chemicals actually work!! I wish I could say that for all pool companys chemical line... But its been my experience that cheap isnt always good!!

If I could give 0 star I would. But this is not directed at the two employees who helped me with water testing--they were great. This is directed at the person who said I could only use their free water testing once per week. Apparently she did not know how much money I had already spent there (or it did not matter), or that I would be willing to pay for their free testing, or that I was trying to calibrate my testing against theirs, or that I had already researched extensively, or that I had more chemistry in school than they ever did, etc. The inconvenience for me now is that I drive by there everyday but I will never be back.

Dave, the manager, is the SUPER STAR of pool maintenance.... Every time I have visited the store, he has been very courteous and attentive . Whenever there is an issue with my pool, he has been dead on with his diagnosis. Instead of paying $99 and upwards for a service call his suggestions and instructions on how to do it myself have been thorough and correct. With his help I have saved hundreds....Thanks to Dave and his staff.

The guys in here are SO helpful! Coming from a completely ignorant person on pool care! Growing up we used the canal in my backyard as the pool haha! However we just purchased a home with a pool and they were extremely helpful with all of my questions for maintaining.

Pinch A Penny pool supply has pretty much everything you need for your pool. But I got it mitt they are so proud of it and you can tell that by the prices they charge their just 100% outrageous on their prices. They are courteous and help carry your stuff to your car and put it in it but under their breath Theyre laughing this idiot paid our prices and were going to help him get it out of the store so it doesnt change his mind.

Great customer service the girl behind the counter was very knowledgeable tested my water and see me through the process that I needed to take Im so glad Pinch A Penny is here and Clearwater such friendly service I would recommend them to anyone

Sold me liquid chlorine that wasnt properly filled by the companies policy. This resulted in my cloths being ruined as I brought them to my pool and later BOTH jugs had holes in them!!! It leaked all over my pool deck putting my animals at severe risk. I talked to the MANAGER DAVE, HE DID NOT CARE. HE SAYS HE SELLS 600 JUGS/DAY SO OUR BUSINESS DOESNT MATTER TO HIM. I WOULD FIRE HIM INSTANTLY WITHOUT HESITATION. DAVE HAS NO LEADERSHIP OR MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND CAN GIVE A RATS ASS ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS.

Ive been to a lot of pool stores over the last couple of years. All Pinch A Pennies are not created equal. This one has a knowledgable staff which has never treated me like the pool newbie. Theyre always gracious with answering my questions, even ridiculous ones. They test my water every time I come in so I can confirm my own readings. I bought a new filter from them and they walked me through the PVC process, something I would normally have paid a plumber to do. They definitely go above and beyond, even giving me discounts on supplies from their own coupon books, even if I forget mine. This one is about 8 miles away, twice as far as the other Pinch a Penny and 6 miles further than a competing pool store. I go there because its the only one I feel deserves my business.

I have been a customer of this store ever since it opened some time back. I was in need of Pool Bleach this evening since I have a very very busy day tomorrow. I checked the listing on the Internet and it said that they were open Today 9:00am - 7:00pm. Well that is a lie as I was in there parking lot at 6:08pm and they were closed. I returned home and attempted to contact them via telephone. No answer. If you people cant get your store hours right, what can you do right. I am exceedingly put out and my next visit to your store will certainly incur my rath as you people deserve it for wasting my time and resources. Your reaction on my next visit will determine whether I continue doing business with this store.
