Just took my car here for the first time and this place rocks. Everybody was super helpful and knowledgeable. Ill def be back next time my car breaks

I got an oil change with them because I live nearby and it’s easy to take care of. They called and told me my brakes needed changing and quoted me over the phone. I told them hold off and just do the oil change but went to Bruce’s for a quote on the brakes. Their mechanics were confused. Said my brake pad was thick and still had a couple thousand miles on it.Point is, get the oil change because that was fine but if you’re a woman, don’t trust them to not try and screw you over.

I recently took two cars to Mr. Tire. My 2014 Escape needed four rotors/pads, front wheel hub and bearings, and 17 lug nuts. This did not seem completely unreasonable because my car was vibrating and pulsing when braking and cruising. The cost was $2200. When they put new tires on they said I also needed the rear bearings replaced on both wheels for $850. I took the car to Lucas Auto Center and they rebalanced the tires and said that the wheel bearings were just barely starting to go but definitely did not need to be replaced.I took my wifes 2014 Hyundai Sonata to Mr. Tire for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told that it needed four rotors and pads, front calipers, rear shocks and struts, and a CV axle. The cost was $2200. I took the car to Bruces and they said that everything was fine except for needing new front rotors and pads for $350.Recommending replacement for slightly worn parts is one thing, but fabricating a laundry list of expensive repairs is dishonest. I will not be back to Mr. Tire.

Never had a bad experience here. Have dropped my car off multiple times and have never had a complaint. Most recently I stopped in unannounced after I had stripped a screw trying to change a tail light. I needed help getting it off and Danny was willing to help me out and had it off within minutes free of charge!

I woke up to a flat due to a nail in my tire and had to leave for a business trip ASAP. I called all around the cleveland area and nobody would help me get my tire fixed the same day. I finally called Mr.Tire in Lakewood and Danny said he could squeeze me in last second, which I was so grateful for. I got there 10 minutes later and 10 minutes after I arrived, I had a brand new tire on my car (since it couldn’t be patched). I can’t thank them enough for their quick and helpful service. Ive been going to Mr. Tire for 18 years and will continue to do so. They are thorough, kind, and upfront with what they are able to do to fix your car. Not to mention they dont try to upsell or talk down to you when explaining whats going on with your car. I highly recommend the location on Lake Ave.

I took my Mercedes Benz in for front brake work . The price compared to the dealer was a great value. The estimate was right on point the car now brakes as it did on the day I purchased it. The place was so clean and they took allot of precautions due to the current health crisis. I cannot recommend them enough !!!!!

These guys were great! Scheduled an online appointment the day of. Had an oil change and a/c repair for great price. Needed muffler work that they referred me to a different facility that could repair for a better value. Work was done in a few short hours. Friendly, helpful, affordable service. I picked up a nail on the highway and came in to see if they could patch the tire. It was really close to the sidewall, so George took another look and was able to plug it for me so I wouldn’t have to buy a new tire! This not only saved me money but restored my trust in mechanics! This will be the only place I take my car to get serviced from now on! And I’ll definitely be spreading the word about George and his amazing staff!

Fantastic service!! I called to get my license plate unscrewed and replaced because the screws were stripped. They helped me within the hour. The manager who helped me was very pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be coming back!

As I was waiting outside to get my tire checked out, a guy (not involved with this business) started harassing me and touching me and wouldn’t leave me alone. I came inside the building to see how long it’d be and told the employee about what was happening. He went above and beyond to make sure I was safe! On top of that they offered to plug my leak for free for my hassle- even though it was no fault of their business what was happening to me. Professional employees with some really good hearts! Will definitely be returning here!!!

I always took my car to the dealer. I was lucky enough to have a GREAT service department. Clearly not the norm and was too good to be true, as they closed unexpectedly (to both customers and employees). I needed to find a new place to take my car. I did research online and Mr. Tire in Lakewood got AMAZING reviews, so I tried them. Every time I go there I feel like they really are taking care of my car like it was their own. I am so happy to have found this place.

Made an appt , dropped off the car and 3 hours later and they had done nothing. When I said something the manager lied and said I told you that you had to leave it all day because of COVID-19. Seriously? He never said that. I was willing to buy the tires he recommended, get the alignment thrown in with the oil change and see if I needed brakes. But the car sat for 3 hours and was not even moved. Manager acted like he didnt give a f@%k when he handed my keys back.

Came in for some long overdue maintenance. They were able to fit me in quickly and were flexible on timing despite how busy they were. Communication was quick, informative, and (as much as this shouldnt have to be said) respectful, without condescension. After my initial visit, I noticed a thing or two that seemed different and they were able to fit me in, same day, to reassure me that my car was fully road-worthy.Highly professional and a joy to interact with. This is truly the best experience at any car/tire place I’ve ever had. The customer service is excellent and the staff truly cares for their customers and treats them with the highest level of respect. George was especially helpful to me. George went out of his way to help me navigate through snap finance so I could pay for the tires I needed for my specific vehicle. He even fit me in to get my car fixed well past their closing time which is amazing to me. I am so grateful for George’s service and dedication. There needs to be more places like Mr. Tire. I had been hearing a noise In the back end of my car for weeks but no one believed me.Well as I pulled onto my street Street the car started grinding like metal on metal.I called Saturday morning in a bit of a panic to see if I could get an appointment today (Monday).Well the manager said if I could bring it in right away he would squeeze me in that day. I was worried because I had to work that night.Fast forward to when I picked it up and it’s driving quiet as a church mouse just like he said.Very friendly and helpful with my rambling questions and concerns.

Overall, these guys are amazing. They’re extremely down to earth, accommodating, fair, and they explain everything in detail in a way that makes sense. I know mechanics in general get a bad rap, but I like to believe I’m a very good judge of character, and I feel that these guys are extremely honest (to a fault), even when they’re telling me not to spend money with them on something that doesn’t need to be done that wanted. That’s why I use them when I need work done.Getting a car fixed in general sucks because it’s always a sudden expense, and in a lot of cases, a big expense. But I use these guys because I genuinely feel that they’re doing their best to save me as much as they possibly can, to keep me as a loyal customer. There arent enough good things to say about the men who run Mr Tire in Lakewood. Theyve been my go-to for 2.5 years now, and I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. In the last month Ive had a lot of issues with my 11 year old Honda Accord which theyve taken in stride. They are fair, great communicators, reliable, efficient and the utmost professionals. George and Stan, specifically, are incredibly kind and I appreciate how they always take the time to talk me through the problems at hand. Although I never like having to take my car in to get fixed, I like to take it to Mr. Tire!

Not sure what the owners name is but hes there every time I stop in and very nice and helpful. I had to take my car in unexpectedly this week and was very accommodating by offering me a discounted rate and got me right in. I always go here and will continue to do so! George and his crew are top notch.A couple of years ago my car needed practically an entirely new suspension, and George found every discount and coupon imaginable to help me afford the over $2k cost to fix it. Since then Ive consistently gone there, simply because George is an honest man that will do anything to accommodate his customers.Today when I was sitting there waiting (half hour) for an oil change and tire rotation, I overheard him speaking on the phone a couple times to prove me right. One girl couldnt afford to replace her brakes but they were metal on metal, so George was trying to work with her on payment to get it taken care of. Another girl called trying to get in with an emergency and it was almost closing time. George said she could drop her car off and leave it overnight. She didnt have a ride home so he offered to give her a lift home when he finished his shift in 15 minutes. He also gave me an extra discount since I asked for an oil change punch card, but they discontinued that service and he felt bad.Wanted to write a review to say that this man is not your typical mechanic trying to scam you out of a ton of money. He runs a great shop that does great and fast work. I recommend them to everyone in Lakewood.

Our car broke down while we were travelling and this Mr. Tire location was only 1 block from our hotel. George got us in immediately and although we had to wait till the next morning for parts, he had the car done ASAP. He even sent one of his guys across town to get an additional part that he needed in order to expedite us on our way. He and his staff were honest, friendly, competent, and professional. We would recommend them without hesitation.

This businnes, undoubtedly lived up to its 4.7 rating. I arrived early today (7-24-19) with an important task in making my vehicle wife and children safe. That insisted of I getting new front break pads and rotors, two new tires, a wheel alignment, and an issue that the crew found, that being the front end, control arm. Got an oil change here for the first time this morning. Jeep was finished approximately 30 minutes after my appointment time. Very nice and welcoming! I explained I would be leaving on a road trip and was told the jeep would be looked over to ensure safety, which I absolutely appreciated! Wasn’t suggested any unnecessary recommendations that “needed” to be done (I have encountered this FAR too often at other places). I appreciate the honesty and level of customer service I received. Definitely would recommend!

This Auto shop is the best shop I have ever worked with. I have a large family with 7 siblings and everyone now brings their vehicles here! A true friendly neighborhood business. Very honest and excellent service. They service all my cars. On my most recent visit, I brought my Honda Pilot in for a misfire. Stan told me there was a Service Bulletin on the problem and that its covered under an extended Honda warranty. BTW, Honda never notified me of this issue. Because of his advice, I took it to Honda and it was covered. I saved thousands of $$$s because of Mr Tire. Great job guys!!

George lied to me on the phone to get me in the door.Several hours later, after the work had been done, a different person told me George had quoted me an, impossible price, and they have no other choice then to charge me more.I asked them to give me my rim back and they did...this is after 4 separate trips after promised completion times.I would never use them again.

Its Memorial day and George saved me at Mr. Tires! I have a rental car and Enterprise wanted to charge me an ridiculous amount to change the tire and make me wait up to 90 minutes to have someone come out and change it. George quoted me a price that is a 1/4 amount and changed the tire within 20 minutes. Hes my savior! I get all my oil changes here and HIGHLY recommend this Mr. Tire location to anyone who wants excellent customer service and quality work done!

I first met George ( store manager ) of the Mr. Tire when I needed a hole patched in my 2015 Honda Accord. The SERVICE and HOSPITALITY were AMAZING. A couple months later, I wanted to get new tires for my Wifes Civic and my Accord. In that time we Relocated to Pittsburgh. My trust and experience with George’s shop was so Great that we drove BACK to Lakewood, Which is 1 1/2 hours from were we live, to get our service done with Him, his Awesome Staff and great Customer service!!!! Ive had two positive experiences with George and the gang over at Mr. Tire. Ive reluctantly had to take my vehicle into their shop over the past few months and each time was as good of an experience as taking your vehicle to the shop can be. They were upfront, honest, and patient with me throughout the entire process. This most recent visit, they even put my vehicle inside the shop as I had personal items in the back of my truck. That made me feel like a person rather than a customer. I cant recommend George and his crew enough. Thank you guys for everything.

I cannot say enough positives about my experience here. I needed a tire replacement over Labor Day weekend and was pleased to find that this location was open on Labor Day. I needed all new tires and had hoped to wait until winter to replace; I was given a great deal, quick turn around and was able to replace all four tires with in a day of my initial visit. I will continue to come back here for all of my auto needs!

A great trustworthy mechanic. They first of all they tell you what you are up against, and about what it could cost, and then they do the work competently, and only whats needed, not a lot of unnecessary garbage. When you get your car back, they tell you what they saw as they were working on it. That way you can anticipate what could be next. Kinda strange, but Ive found an honest mechanic!

I have come to this location for several years. Always give honest assessment of what they see and what may need to be done in the future. Whenever I have dropped off my car for work, they have given intermittent updates to let me know what’s going. It is reassuring to have a mechanic you can trust.

I was a little put off by the tech telling about how he had a similar make and model car that he hated for this that and the other reason while comparing my car to it. I love my car. There are better ways to tell me about potential issues to look out for.

These guys are AWESOME. From getting my car with a broken tie rod towed there to just randomly showing up with no appointment because I had low tire pressure issues, theyve always been incredibly accommodating, and always, ALWAYS explain what is going on. Theyre great and my definite go to.

I ended up with nail in my tire on my way home from work a few weeks ago. The next morning I tried going to the shop closest to my apartment but despite an open sign; the doors were closed and they didnt answer the phone. I ended up driving up to Mr Tire instead. Even without an appointment; on what looked like a fairly busy day, they were able to get me in and out within an hour. During the wait I overheard the manager talking with other customers and it seems they really like to get to know their customers and value their business. I would definitely recommend this Mr Tire location.

Consistently exceed my expectations. When a competitor recommended a full tire replacement for a screw 2 inches from the tire wall, these guys insisted it wasnt necessary and had it fixed quickly and reliably. Also brought a door issue to them and they fixed it with a handshake (proprietary knowledge I would happily pay for). I will continue to use them for all my needs and 100% recommend them to anyone.

George helped me out of a jam when my car wouldn’t start and we couldn’t figure out why. He communicated every step that the shop tried and got it fixed within the day. Very good shop with honest technicians and reasonable prices. Mr. tire is my go-to Lakewood car repair!

Everyone here was super friendly & easy to work with. I ended up needing an unexpected repair that I hadn’t budgeted for. I have terrible credit & no extra money, so I was mentally trying to determine what bills I wouldn’t pay this week in order to afford this extra expense. But then George swooped in for the rescue! He was able to hook me up with a credit service & cover my costs. So this gal gets to keep her electric this month!
