They have worked on my car a few times and I just have a few important things to say. These people were friendly, helpful, did the work as promised and in the time frame discussed. They didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need, the price was good compared to other places (I called around and asked). They were everything I could ask for in a car shop. I will definitely come back for future work.

This place was so helpful. I came in because I had a nail in my tire and they were able to fix it. Daniel was very helpful and very informative. I had a problem with my tpms sensors and I went to 2 other tire shops and they were clueless. Mountain View Tire & Service Inc. will be my goto tire shop from now on! They calibrated tpms free of charge and they made sure that my vehicle will run smoothly and all my issues would be resolved.

Customer service from front desk today was very disappointing on this Sunday morning. said he can help then two seconds later me asking a few questions then says no sorry I can do it take it to somewhere else. Sad to offer a service then refuse to do the job after asking a few questions.

The service is great here. Its best to have an appointment. I like the tires we bought and my first rotation was just performed including balancing. I recommend this shop.

I’ve been coming to Mountain View Lakewood for like 5 years and any time I’ve had an issue with a car, I never hesitated to come by here. The customer service is phenomenal and especially the last time I came here. I came in to get my car checked because I felt the transmission shuddering. BRUCE took the time to research and print out several pages for me about the warranty that covers my car’s transmission. He told me to bring the papers to the dealership and see if I can get it checked out and replaced under warranty. I did this and ended up getting my clutch replaced and the extended warranty (that I didn’t even know I had) covered ALL of it!Bruce knew that me going to the dealership meant I would not be spending money at Mountainview, but he did it to help me out. That means a lot and is the reason they have my business forever. Thank you Bruce for helping me out all these years!

Love the guys at Mountainview Lakewood. They do great work, they are very professional and courteous, and they actually call you when they say they will.

I first went to the store in Long Beach where they told me they unfortunately did not have my size tire. They very kindly told me which store had it in stock, so I ended up at the Lakewood store. The guys were amazing to me and so helpful. I was in and out of the store in 2 hours with four tires replaced, on a last minute walk-in on a busy Sunday. The guy behind the counter (Im sorry Im terrible with names!) was super friendly and told me honestly what I needed to have done on my car. I know little to nothing about cars so it was very reassuring to have someone not try to be dishonest with me to get more money. He also worked with me to get the best deals on four new tires so I wasnt spending an arm and leg but also wasnt getting terrible tires. He also informed me on what little things the mechanics had noticed on my car that should be looked at/fixed in the future, which was super nice to know. I will definitely be back in the future as they were quick, affordable, nice, and most importantly, so understanding and saved me on an otherwise horrible day (tire blowout on the highway 🙃)! Cannot thank you guys enough! 😊

Great shop, great mechanics and great technicians. I have been going here for many years with my 2 Lexus cars and my Isuzu SUV.I have tried other shops, but the cost savings of going to other shops was not worth it. The other shops screwed up my car, which Mountain View Tire fixed for me. The old adage is so true, you really get what you pay for! I will stay with Mountain View Tire!

I went in for new tires and came home with coolant leaking from the bottom of my car. After bringing it back in, I was told that my radiator had a leak and was quoted for a huge price to replace the entire cooling system of my car. I refused and requested that they show me where it was leaking. When they finally gave in, they admitted that there was never any leak, the coolant reservoir bottle was missing and the overflow hose was just hanging creating the leak. There is no other way that bottle could have gone missing other than it being removed in that shop. I tried to bring the case to corporate, but they refused to meet with me or refund me. The corporate manager defended their shop employees and called me a liar.

These guys are great. Took my lifted tundra here to get an alignment. Was a bit skeptical from hearing some of the bad reviews. Hands down one of the best shops around. Got my alignment within tolerances. Well done guys. Thank you.Update: 2 weeks went by and my alignment started to creep to the left a little bit. Took it in and these guys took care of me. I honestly cannot tell you how honest and professional these guys are with their work. Took the truck in and corrected it. Found me a new mechanic for great prices. High five guys. Thank you again.

Took my C7 Z06 in here to have a tire repaired. Tech Larry took excellent care of the problem. Was fixed very quickly. A lot of tire shops wont even attempt the run flats on these cars. This company performed the job without hesitation and was able to repair and remount the tire without a problem.

Awesome guys always friendly and they check air for free. I was getting my air filled and one of the guys says I have a coolant leak while he was filling the air in the tires.i opened the hood and we looked at the engine together and he pointed out the leak in the bottom of the radiator. I was supposed to go SFO but went to get it fixed saved me from being stranded on the road

Clean shop. friendly staff. Quick and painless. I needed a tire patched and they took care of it. Didnt try to up sale me which was great because a flat tire was not on my to do list. They even put my spare back in the trunk and all the accessories (jack, the crank, etc)

A clamp came off my lower radiator hose. I asked if they could replace the clamp but the whole hose had to be replaced I bought the part and installed it all within an hour.

Excellent service from the front desk to the service department. I trust my vehicles to them and will continue to recommend them to friends and family.

Overall positive experience. Called to confirm availability and was given the go ahead but once I arrived (on time as scheduled) the guy at the counter seemed a little peeved to squeeze me in and said hed do it but hed have to have his guys work OT. Service took a little longer than quoted, but thats no big deal, I know how it goes working on cars. Staff was nice, waiting room was clean, price was fair...

My car has been overheating. I needed to replace coolant. The first store I went to only had (IAG) coolant. I was looking for the(OAG) coolant. When leaving the shopping center I saw Mountain View in the same parking lot. I went in to see if they have the type of coolant I needed for my vehicle. He said its not for sale because the get it in big barrels but he would fill me up. I tipped him a 20 for going out of his way. I watched him fill my car with clear water out of a coolant container. Dont say your going to use Ford certified engine coolant then proceed to use water. Its sad to see a Male mechanic take advantage of a woman. Bad business. If Mountain View tire and Auto would lie over smaller issues like this, then I would NOT trust them with any major repairs on my car.

In February 2016, we had taken 1 of our 5 vehicles to Mountain View Tire & Auto for four new tires. Since we were happy with the service and price, I decided to take another vehicle there for an oil change and purchase new two tires. The service rep provided a quote for $159 a tire (Goodyear Fortera, HLP245/65R17). I asked if they have nitrogen to inflate the tires with. The reps said hell fill them up with nitrogen for free.I leave my vehicle there and when I return to my office, I check the tire prices online. The Mountain View Tire Center website re-routes me to the Goodyear website where I find the tires are actually listed at $129 each. I called the rep at Mountain View to confirm the price. The rep acts surprised, but sells me the tires for $129 each. He also advised that my air filter needed replacing and the cost for a new one would be $12.After I pick up the vehicle, I noticed he charged me $20 to inflate both new tires with nitrogen, and $19.95 for the air filter.Will not be going back there again.

I went in with a slow leak from a screw in my front right run-flat tire. I was told you cannot fix a run-flat so theyll have to order me a new tire. Having more than 50% tread left I wasnt real happy. He also said you should never replace just one tire (side)which Id heard before and and dont argue with but again with more than 50% tread not real happy. The gentleman also said I would need an alignment although although I really couldnt see any wear other than driving on my low tire for several miles.So now my slow leak has turned into a $600 plus endeavor. Luckily for me it was Sunday and he could not get two new tires that fit my car until Monday. That gave me time to go home and do a little research.So Monday morning I ran over to Big O Tires on La Palma and and they fixed it for free in about 10 minutes...#WellThereYouGo#TheGuyWasNice

Went their to get my tire repaired and they said that my tires were un repairable because they were too worn. So I went and got a second opinion. The other tire shop said that the tires were still good and they repaired them. The worst part was that they were trying to sell me a bunch of other things like shocks and struts. I will never go their again.

Alway give great service, doesnt matter if you need a little air or new tires. My go to place.
