Only got a tire replaced but my god was the experience delightful, the guy at the counter and the technician were joking with each other and had carried a nice conversation with me, overall good experience and very affordable.

Cant say enough about this place. They are so polite and really treat customers as royalty. I hit a glass with my tire and was losing pressure fast. They were backed up with work but still managed to fit me in the schedule within 25 minutes. Incredible! Highly recommend this place!

They are OK for minor stuff. I had a complete brake job done. A few weeks later I noticed that I no longer had an emergency brake even though I had one before they worked on the brakes. I talked to the person who did the job (the owner). He refused to admit that he disconnected (actually cut the cable) and told me hed fix it for $1100.00. I took it to another garage. They showed me where the cable was cut and that my car requires the back seat to be removed to run a new cable. As far as Im concerned Lucas Auto Center is a dishonest place.

I was nervous about taking my car here because I have never been. I needed a wheel bearing bad and it was a Saturday. Im glad I listened to the positive google reviews because they did a great job and quickly and the price was exactly what I knew the work was worth! You cant ask for a better business to support. Great hours, great service, quality work, and fair pricing.

My car has very low profile tires and I had a hard time finding a shop that would mount a new set for me. Lucas Auto Center seemed happy to do the work, so I gave them my keys, signed an authorization form, and waited. The process would take an hour and a half, they said.After two hours, a mechanic came out of the garage and placed a number of chewed up lugs on the coffee table. Many were missing the metal a tire iron rests on. We finally got your tires off, but we destroyed most of your lug studs in the process. They swell and we couldnt get the proper tool on them. Youll have to leave your car here with us and well order new ones for your car, but theyre not cheap and we can only get them from the dealer. These parts are $14 A PIECE, and I have 16. I had places to be and needed my car to get to them, so I started crying.Rather than stop and ask me what I would like to do after they destroyed the FIRST nut, they kept going and tore up almost ever one on the car.I complained (the person who was not the manager totally agreed with me but wouldnt go to bat over it) and they put the lugs back on, but theres no way to get them off without special equipment now, and when I asked if I could order online and provide my own and have them put on, they said Sure, but well have to charge you.These people damaged my vehicle and overcharged me. Almost $200 to have tires mounted and balanced and the car in worse shape than I started.

Been going here for years and remains one of my favorite mechanics. Honest, friendly, and highly professional. Be aware that the prices are higher than some alternatives but theyre much quicker to get things done (experience talks) and it tends to be right the first time. They also stand by their work.

Made a quick call to see if they could repair a coolant leak and I told him the make of my car and he laughed oddly and hysterically and told me “pass” and hung up.

Friendly staff, quick service with no frills. Did the work I had hoped for at the price I expected. Asked for a free brake inspection and they followed through with honesty to let me know there was life left on my front brake pads. Two cars in the family serviced within two weeks with great service both times. We shall be back.

I called this afternoon to schedule an appointment for a flat tire, the mechanic said I can bring it in now and 45 minutes later I was on my way home. Excellent customer service!!!

I got flat tire.the told me is not fixable buy gov.went next day fix it.they force me buy a new tire.not put on back the spare and the old one.they was rude when i ask the owner at least exchange my tire for the original brand.they told me is one different tire ok for the four wheel drive car.they not understand when i am complain,but when they want to self and repair my tire they dd.rude service and people.not helpful i heard a lots of people had problems

Theyre open Sundays for repairs and oil changes which is great if something absolutely needs taken care of if something happens on a Saturday or Sunday.

Well Ive taken my car here for every oil change on my last 2 vehicles. They do squeeze in a quick job with no appointment, which is great. I am disappointed with the fact that they havent pointed out my power steering fluid leak or the fact that my engine seems to be wet w/either said fluid or my valve cover gasket is no good anymore and oil is leaking slowly. $30 oil changes arent bad, but no mention of some pretty obvious repair needs has left a bad taste. The guys are super busy but really nice to customers all the time. Theyve also used parts Ive bought and brought to them, which also is very accommodating...no warranty or guarantee on work done w said parts but appreciated nonetheless.

Tried to park at the gas station to go in and talk to someone about my car - which was barely running. Was yelled at by someone in the garage and said that I couldn’t park there and he’d tow me if I wasn’t getting gas. I said I was trying to talk to someone about fixing my car. He said it didn’t matter and if I wasn’t getting gas he was going to tow me. I asked where I should park and he pointed to the street. Never bothered to ask what was wrong or if I needed help. If that’s how they treat people, I’m glad I didn’t give them my business.

Called in to see why my check engine light was on. The man that answered was very rude and told me that it would be $100 to see what was wrong. He yelled at me and said that I did not know how check engine lights worked. Thus, he tried to scam me into paying $100 dollars when all I needed was the code. Called Auto-Zone and was a seamless process. Needless to say, I will never go here to get my car looked at or use this station for gas. Also, from reading other reviews, I see that my experience was not an isolated incident.

I got a flat tire on a Friday evening before I had to hit the road for an out-of-state wedding of a good friend. Called around and Lucas Auto Center was the only place open. They patched up my tire quickly and got me back on the road, and were friendly despite the time. These guys are lifesavers.

They were open on a Sunday, and patched my nail-punctured tire for 10 dollars. The staff was friendly, and got the work done quickly, and while I waited. Free coffee and tea didnt suck, either. Ill definitely go back in the future.

I have been a customer here for over 15 years. The Lucas Auto Center is a very professional place to come and receive service. They are experts in taking care of the cars and super great in taking care of us customers. The hospitality we receive is warm, friendly, and family like- I come here even after moving away from Lakewood, Ohio- because they have an outstanding reputation and treat us with respect and dignity.

The best car wash in Lakewood and anywhere near this area. My big thing is the underbody wash and this place really has a strong spray, not to mention good prices. A lot of the places around here have sent garbage that has weak sprays and stuff thats scratching your car. I use to work at a car wash and I can tell you this is a hidden gem.Gas prices are always among the lowest in Lakewood too.Interestingly enough they also have a pump where they will pump your gas for you if yourey elderly and looking for something like that.Edit: after going to Blue Falls car wash in North Olmsted I have to rank this as the #2 best car wash. Nothing has changed from 5 stars tho, this place is great.

The first time I brought my car here for repairs was purely based on the fact that they were open late. Having no previous knowledge of what to expect from them and dreading the experience that is bringing my car somewhere for repairs, I was indeed skeptical. However, my situation at the time left me with little to no options as I am very much dependant on having my own transportation, so I figured Id give them a shot, and ever since then I refuse to take my car anywhere else.It was no surprise to find out what was wrong with my car, what was surprising was how low the estimate was. Whats even more shocking than that, the estimate didnt come with all the bull**** Im used to receiving from other auto repair shops! No list a mile long of questionable additional repairs I apparently need, or extra fees that seem to exist just in case the estimate seemed to good to be true!(I was once charged an extra $30 because the inside of my car wasnt clean, it was a little messy, but hardly to the point it being an issue) Better yet, they got the work done that same evening.So if youre looking for fast, hassle free, quality place to get your car serviced, I highly recommend Lucas.

I stopped this evening to get some gas, a drink, & use the restroom. The restroom was not working so I ran to the bar next door as it was an urgent need. I planned on going in to get gas and a drink, however when I returned to my car I was greeted by an elderly gentleman, I did not get his name, and he gave me attitude for blocking the pump. Mind you all the other pumps were open and there was no line. I attempted to explain myself and he opted to over talk me and flick me off. So, not only did you miss out on money tonight you will never see me back and all of my LKWD friends will know as well.As a fellow business owner I am appalled and would be terminating any employee that spoke to a potential customer in that manner.

Good experience overall, responsive and friendly people. Cost of service is a little on the higher side. Same part replacement with similar parts was quoted slightly less at a competing auto shop in Lakewood with a very good reputation.

They where the on shop open pass 7 so I had to stop.Most definitely over charged for one trie but I needed a new tire(171).The problem I have is that 2 out of 5 lug nuts where destroyed and the guy didn’t stay anything I’m not sure how he could have done that considering there stock lugs.ONLY GO THERE IF YOU HAVE TO.
