He was very professional and courteous. He walked all the way across the huge parking lot and up 3 flights of stairs with a jack and tire iron and changed my flat tire in minutes. Great guy! I have a 2005 Chevy Express Van used to transportrescued animals. It very important that the vehicle stay in top running condition and needed repaired done in a timely manner. Jerry and his team have performed A/C repairs on one of our vehicles and brake replacement on another vehicle. With both repairs, they were quick to get us in their schedule, followed up as needed as they identified the source of the issues, and made sure to follow up a few weeks after the repairs to ensure everything was still working properly. I took my older (read: not worth very much) Volvo to them for a bad wheel bearing. After inspection they found another, so I got them both done even though it was approaching the limit of what Im willing to put into the old girl. Annoyingly, it turns out there was a THIRD bad bearing, and by now I had way more sunk costs than I initially intended which was a real bummer.The guys at Knapp were super understanding and cut me a break on the third wheel. I was really impressed with the customer service, quality, and speed of service. Someone was there to greet me first thing when I walked in with a friendly demeanor. Service rep and mechanics explained details of the need for repairs along with cost. Answered any questions that I asked with no problem. I took my car in early in the morning for a diagnostic test, by mid afternoon of the same day repairs were finished and I was able to pick up the car. Very knowledgeable staff and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning if I have any future needs for my car as they have a very trusting staff!

They fixed my flat tire quickly and I didnt even need an appointment. The work was done well and at an affordable price, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Really glad I found this place.As happens to many of us life changes and we have to find a new place to work on our cars. While the place I use to take it was awesome I no longer am in that area.The first garage I called could take my car but tow company they recommended couldnt pick my car up.I called Knapps originally for a tow to get my car to the first garage.After talking to the driver of the wrecker I decided to let Knapps have a go at fixing my car.Really glad I did.They did an awesome job.I highly recommend them.

DISHONEST SHOP WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF, AVOID AT ALL COSTSQuoted me $1500 for a repair that cost less than $500 elsewhere. When I said that was too much and would take my car elsewhere the staff became hostile. Recommended a number of unnecessary repairs for which the cost to repair would have exceeded the cost of the vehicle.

RIP OFF - READ BEFORE GOING HERE - I am from out of town and came for a relatively small repair. My windshield wipers needed a new switch and my heating knob needed repairing. They called me and told me just for the windshield wipers, it would be $500 and if I wanted them to work on the heater too, it would be close to $1,000 due to labor costs. Luckily, this sounded outrageous to me and I made a few calls to some trusted repair shops back home and the Subaru dealership for exact pricing on parts.I took my car somewhere else as soon as I found out that it should only cost me about $250 to get the wipers fixed with labor costs included. In the end, after taking my car to an honest shop with people that are not trying to rip me off and prey on the fact that I am a young woman, I ended up getting both my wipers and my heater fixed for under $450. If you are a woman or man or human who does not know much about cars, like me, do your homework after they give you their estimate. My bet is they are over charging you!! I am incredibly disappointed that they would be doing something like this during a time of such hardship for so many people.

Absolutely the best and fastest service Ive ever had. The tow truck driver Keith was super nice and very patient. He was prompt when he showed up and was able to instruct me on where I can get a safer tire jack from which was helpful. Jerry Jr. was amazing as well. He patched my tired up quickly and was confident in his work, which made me feel a lot better about the patch lasting. Also the girl at the front was nice as well, I assume she is the daughter in the family business. She was professional even when she got really busy up front. I am so thankful for the service I received today!

This shop is not trustworthy! Brought my truck in as a new customer for a oil change and a safety inspection. Shop attempted to charge me for a major front end repair that was not necessary. There were two minor repairs that were confirmed by showing me in the shop. When I asked the mechanic to show me the major problem , he could not verify the specific issue that what was stated and made up an excuse for the problem not being visible. Just to confirm this problem did not exist, I then had two different professional shops examine the front end, and both confirmed this major front end repair was not needed. This is just a good example on how some shops unfortunately try to squeeze more money out of customers by doing unnecessary repairs. This is a shady tactic and not ethical or fair way to make money. New customers BEWARE!

Awesome shop. Very honest and worked with my schedule to get the work done same day. They also swapped my snow tires out for free in addition to an alignment discount as I had prior work done there. To speak from my experiences with other shops who work on German cars: go to Knapps - you will not find better quality for the price.

Knapps in Olmsted Falls is a great business. They are honest and warranty their work. Quick service. They also provided towing. Very accomodating. Just had my car worked on this morning. Extremely fast pickup time for a tow...I was waiting under an hour. Once the new tire arrived, they were quick and friendly and the work was done. Only reason for not giving 5 stars, is they blew a hole in my spare tire when trying to re-inflate it. Tire may not have been the greatest...but still, you only blow a hole like that due to over-inflating. Also, the new tire they put on at 40 lbs of air....all my other tires have 32. So it seems they may have over inflated the new one they put on just a bit as well. This really does not bother me as spare was bad anyway.....what really bothered me was they put it back in my trunk, and handed me the keys and said I was good to go. Never mentioning the spare they had blown. I had to ask about it as the guy was walking away. If you do something, tell the customer. If I had not asked, I would have assumed it was fine, and next time I needed it and it did not work I would have been stranded.

I called in to Knapps auto shop in the morning after calling several other shops who said they wouldnt be able to take me in until tomorrow. I needed my car fixed as soon as possible so I was grateful when they said they could check my car out today. I talked to Jerry and Jerry on the phone and in the shop and they were both very friendly and helpful. My car sounds wonderful again. The crew did a great job. From the AAA towing crew to the shop mechanics this place was great. They got my car done quickly and explained everything they were doing to me. Everyone was helpful and understanding. Knapps isnt like other shops where you feel like an idiot if you dont know what something is. Knapps is a wonderful garage. I had a clutch problem with my Honda Element and the tow truck driver suggested I take it to Knapps. The quote for work was competitive with another I had received s I told them to proceed. They completed the work in a timely fashion. So when I had a different problem with the same vehicle, Knapps was the only choice. A special shout out to their Service Manager Don. Hell give you the advice you need to decide on your next steps.

First you get a free tow if they work on your vehicle. That works for me but I have had them replace both an engine and a transmission in my Town And Country van. On both occasions they have done excellent work. But more than that they are very good at staying in communication and keeping you updated on the progress of your work. A big thumbs up to Madison Auto. I recommend them to everyone!!!

These guys worked super fast on my Volkswagon. I got it towed in the day before, it was ready the next day in the afternoon. Im a new to owning a car (bought my first used car this year) and these guys seem honest in the sense that I dont think theyre making things up about my car, but they also seem on the expensive side. OTOH, theyre down the street from where I live and they ALWAYS get my car back to me the same day, so I cant complain about that. Theyre also very friendly and always willing to explain car stuff to me.

Went in for a rebuilt on transmission. Had to take it back for a second rebuild. Thankfully they offer a loaner car so I wasnt without transportation. So my check engine light comes on. I have it checked at advanced auto. They tell me its a couple things one is the transmission. I take it back for a third check and an oil change with tire rotation. Pick it up they tell me its a old read for the transmission. Then I find out my air pressure for my tires isnt the same for all four off by ten pounds! My fluids didnt get topped off as well. I also had asked Jerry to check my power sterring due to i sometimes need to add fluids. That wasnt done either. Dustin did adjust my tire pressure after I had come right back. Nice guy. But my car still seems as if the transmission isnt right.

My car crapped out on me a few blocks from Knapps and I was able to nurse it into the parking lot. Four hours later and a few spark plugs and coils later the car was fixed. The cost of the parts was surprisingly high but the quick and informative service was excellent. Would definitely go back.

My car battery died on a 10 degree morning. The alternator was shot as well. They set up a tow for me for a reasonable price. They had the car fixed in a few hours. They also fixed a door issue for me for no charge. I recommend them.

Im bummed! Really wanted to like this shop, but they quoted me more than $2,000 for a job that was repaired for $900 less. This was after I had another repair done at their shop, with the check engine light appearing as soon as I drove away! They told me not to worry about it, but I eventually found out that the catalytic converter had been roasted by the same issue I brought in the first place. Their work seems to have been overcharged and incomplete.

I have a 2010 Hyundai Sante fe that passenger side strut went out. Went to multiple places and everyone was quoting me 900$. Well you can imagine the little sigh of relief when I called this place and got a quote of the 600 range. I immediately made an appointment and thank god they were able to get me in the next morning! I had a situation at my apartment complex with them doing tree removal and the parking was going to be closed off for the day. I called Jerry Knapps Madison Avenue and see could they help me. I spoke with Don and explained my situation and he off not to charge storage fees for me car sitting for awhile on their property and also that my car need repairing as well and was waiting on my funds. They set up a time to tow my car to their shop that very day. I was relived for the excellent service. I now have my car back and its a great feeling. I had a great experience with these guys. I installed one control arm on my car, but on the other side 2 bolts seized up, no way I could get them off. So they got me in right away, did the job quickly, and stuck exactly to their quote, which was not cheap but was fair. I would highly recommend this place to others.
