Ive rented trucks several times from Penske, picking up at various locations in Vancouver WA, in my case at 3 different Iron Gate Storage facilities. (There are probably other locations as well.) Actual rental is usually accomplished by calling their regional office, which will have a truck of the desired size available at the appointed time, at a location as close to you as possible.Their trucks, in my experience, are the cream of the crop: clean, nearly new(!), upscale trucks with modern safety features - Lane Assist is particularly useful, backup camera, etc.Various sizes are available, from vans up through 12, 16 to much larger sizes. (See their Website for details.) Ive rented the 2 noted sizes, 16 locally, and 12 for a one way trip north to the Seattle area.One caveat: the 12 trucks do not have a pull-out ramp for loading! This detail wasnt mentioned when I reserved or picked up the truck - I didnt discover this until I started loading. Fortunately I had help loading and unloading the only large piece - a desk, otherwise I wouldnt have been able to take it - which was the primary reason for the truck.The cargo area

Made a reservation, only to be told when I got there that they didnt have my reservation in their system and wouldnt get the truck I needed at their location. An entire day wasted for me and everyone I asked to help me.
