When looking for a home, I worked with Eugene Adams from Keller Williams Realty and he was phenomenal! As a first time home buyer in a competitive market, there were plenty of challenges when it came to finding the right home for the right price but Eugene was there to help every step of the way. He provided guidance when it came to what to look for in a home, advice on how to best negotiate, helpful information about various neighborhoods around the Greater Seattle area and even suggestions on inspectors/contractors. Eugene also found several off-market properties that fit what I was looking for -- one of which is now my home. Eugene went above and beyond to help us sell our townhouse in Seattle for $15k more than any competing offer!Initially we posted our home on Zillow as a “for sale by owner” (FSBO) listing to test the waters and see if we could get any bites. Eugene reached out as he had a client interested in touring prior to our scheduled open house. He also mentioned a title issue we were unaware of in which Units A and C were transposed with the county (during our home purchase). His client came to tour and provided useful feedback on our home that we were able to resolve prior to the open house (even though they didn’t opt to submit an offer).After speaking with Eugene, we were confident he was the most resourceful, creative, and thoughtful real estate agent we have had the pleasure of interacting with in all our years of vetting homes in the Seattle area.As our first time selling a home, he was amazingly patient and caring while answering our many questions. He really stepped up to the challenge of making the numbers to sell our relatively new construction home work. He excelled in how to approach listing our home below our desired price point to maximize offers, then in showing our home to prospective buyers, gathering multiple offers and negotiating the best price. Additionally, when we were close to closing, he was able to negotiate with the buyer regarding the sewer capacity charge in a considerate and mutually beneficial way.Most importantly, having purchased our home through Redfin as a previous comparison, were the number of steps we *didn’t* have to do anything. Five star reviews are rare, but Thuy and Ron of the Dream Team deserve it.I met Thuy when I stopped by an open house in our neighborhood just out of curiosity. I took her upon her invitation to appraise our own home’s market worth. We weren’t looking to sell just then, but were interested in keeping aware of our home’s worth.Two years later, we were approached by a builder interested in buying our home and I asked Thuy for an updated assessment. The builder wasn’t offering enough, but Thuy offered to see what other builders might pay (for various reasons, selling to a builder was the only way we were interested in selling our home at that point). Thuy was persistent in working through multiple builders until finding one with whom she could negotiate the price we wanted. She also worked to negotiate the flexible timeline we wanted for closing.Thuy and Ron showed us homes in the Seattle area for months. When we wanted to look at a home on Whidbey Island, they gamely came to the island to show it to us. We fell in love with it, and they worked as our buyer’s agent to make an offer and close on the home, even though it required multiple trips out on the ferry to Whidbey Island.We love our new home. Our experience with Thuy and Ron was fantastic. When we prepare to sell again, we will definitely be contacting the Dream Team.
