The person at the counter was in a hurry to get us away from the outlet and hand us a car without fully describing the facilities. Everytime we asked them for an estimate of how much the rental would cost, they tried very actively to evade the question. Even after that we received an incorrect estimate, which we figured out only after the card was charged $80 extra.The customer care people when contacted hide behind empty jargon and threaten that we signed a legal agreement at the time of rental, which was actually never shown to us.Unless you want to have yourself treated as worthless, never go to Hertz.To the PR person who is going to comment below saying we dont want you to have this kind of experience, you guys are a bunch of incompetent nincompoops. Unless you have the authority to correct this or do absolutely anything about it, keep your words to yourself.

I rented a vehicle from this location in Dec 2020. I refused any additional add-ons, denied getting siriusxm however the agent still added this service sneakily. Once I also got charged for an extra day + late fee - make sure you double check your final receipt - they try to add additional charges.

Kirkland, WA. I did an online rental at 11:30 a.m. on a Saturday, not realizing they closed at 12 noon (supposedly). I got there at 12:02 p.m., admittedly 2 minutes late, but the lights were out and there was no indication anybody had been there for some time. They would have known someone was coming to pick up a rental through their computer system. They are also closed on Sunday, so I didnt get my car until Monday morning. Its fortunate I was not in desperate need of a vehicle, but they give no consideration for what I think was an early close by them on Saturday. Thats poor customer service.The car was nice when I did get it, which is the only reason they get two stars.

This location has a top notch team with excellent customer service. Mark and Shea have gone far beyond their required duties to make my rental process easier and friendlier. I go out of my way to rent from these guys anytime I need a rental in Seattle area

I found the front desk staff to be rude. They did not share any advise regarding car selection or availability and I ended up getting a car. I felt like they were doing me a favor. I only rented cause I was already there and I didnt want to waste any more time.Poor experience comparing to other places I rented with.

Just dropped off a car here that I picked up from a nearby location. Both people at this location have been very friendly, and the drop-off service worked out great and without delay. Just be sure to tell them ahead of time if you need a pick-up or drop-off so they can arrange to have someone available at that time.

If I could give less than one star I would.On Tuesday I made an online appointment with Hertz, and immediately called the location to confirm that they would pick me up. I called 15 minutes after the pick up was supposed to arrive and was told that the driver Picked up the wrong people. I do not understand how this is possible as I gave the Hertz location my address. I was also told that Hertz would send out someone to pick me up.35 minutes later no one showed up, or even gave me a call. I called the store and found that it was closed! I then called the corporate number to see what I could do, and the rep told me that he could transfer my reservation to the local airport; the reason I was renting the car was so I could get down there in the first place. I then filed a formal complaint with the corporate office and was told that I would be called back by a manager in about five minutes.Not only was I lied to several times on BOTH the Corporate and Store level, but I still havent been contacted.I will *never* do any business with this company; I have never been treated with such disregard or lack of concern.Go with Enterprise; they are *vastly* superior to Hertz.

AVOID AVOID AVOID at all cost!! What a horrible customer service - and what a horrible way to deal with customers. They charged me crazy amount of fee, without me authorizing it, and when I inquired after looking at my bill that was emailed - I was told we spent more than 10 min to vacuum so you have to pay all this!

Mark and his team at the Kirkland HLR continue to shine. I made a last minute reservation for a panel van yesterday and after scouring the fleet one was not available, but Mark was able to have a F-150 brought in to accommodate me. Clean, low mileage as always - worked perfectly. Ive become accustomed to exceptional service from this HLR. A remarkable - 5 stars!

Tacked on extra charges/packages i didnt ask for, and I didnt get to see the itemized list of things before paying. Was in a hurry to get to work, so i didnt notice til i sat down and had a moment to breathe. Super pushy on extra packages and will try to sneak in extra things where ever possible.Only pro was that the car was clean.

I booked a car, went to pick it up, and they were out. Staff here was rude and did not want to do anything to help, just told me to call corp. Which i did 3 times, always was promised a call back which never happened. I will not use this location ever again.

Reserved a mid size car at Kirkland and was in the shop on time. The person at the counter was very rude and unprofessional. Even though I had a reservation, there was no car available that dint have a license registration expiry problem or an oil change pending problem. I was forced to take a truck and when I refused, the guy said his time for the day is up and asked me to come the next day and went off! I had to cancel a lot of plans to make up for his unplanned nuisance.

The worst experience, first of all the car they gave me was dirty and parts was falling off, then they try to blame me. and for the inconvenience they gave me a little tiny clown car, then I see they over charged my credit card stating that I didnt add gas/I filled it before I dropped it off. not sure what the problem with this place. Im a Hertz gold member travel all over the states for the worlds largest Airplane manufacture in the world, never been treated this bad. Santa Fe Texas,Alberq new Mex. your Hertz rock.
