Clyde was great to work with. He did a nice job on the refinish. we ended up having two minor blemish problems on our tub after it dried - Clyde came back out twice to fix things up. Very easy to work with and super nice - and well priced. I highly recommend.

It surpassed my expectations and I will be wanting more work done in the future. It looked better than new and that can only come from a man who has a passion and the skills needed for this type of work.

Clyde did a tub refinishing in our master bathroom. When first making the appointment he called me back right away and was very friendly. He was easy to schedule with and his bid was $200 cheaper than the other company I had checked with and had a better warranty. He was flexible in figuring out how to get to my rural home. Once there he was very professional and easy to work with. And the tub looks fantastic!

Clyde not only did amazing work, he is a wonderful person. We didnt try to upsell, he just wanted to do what was right and would look the perfect...and it did. Highly recommend.

I researched tub refinishers, on behalf of my elderly parents, whose tub needed repair after a previous refinisher botched the job. I needed someone ethical and dependable. I couldn’t be there in person, so reviews were crucial to get this right for them. The reviews here mentioned personal service on the job and attention to detail from the owner, Clyde. I would like to confirm the previous reviews.Prior to the job, Clyde gave us great advice on what to expect during and after his work. He spent the day on the job, and was expert at fixing the previous damage, making the tub like new again. All was well.What happened at the end of the job, however, is what sets him apart as special.The job was essentially complete, perfect, when a small drop of residual water from the faucet hit the newly refinished, and not yet cured tub. This caused a major blemish. Things like this happen. But his recovery from it was unusually ethical and craftsmanlike. Clyde assured us he would make it right. “Not to worry”. He came back a few days later, spent three hours fixing the blemish, didn’t charge us for his time, and threw in an extra freebie service for our trouble. The blemish is still there, but essentially invisible to the naked eye, unless you know where to look.My parents, having previously experienced a really bad refinish, were elated at the results and the ethical work of Clyde, of Modern Refinishers.I only review really good and really bad businesses. Most are just average. Some stand out. Modern Refinishers, and its owner Clyde, stand out as five stars. Excellent work. Excellent ethics. Great value.
