This is a locally owned company located on the east side of North Oak just north of 64th Street/Shady Lane in Gladstone.I cannot express how wonderful our experience was with this company.Tim came out to give us a quote for 11 windows, a front door, a storm door, and a sliding back door. After receiving other quotes from larger companies, Tims approach was refreshingly casual and honest. Not only were they the best price, that they were the most genuine and casual people we met with.They were the only company that gave us flexibility to go to a local store to purchase our own front door and storm door. This was both cost effective and liberating for creative interior design.We were able to choose exactly the doors we wanted, and then EEC took the proof of purchase and both picked up and stored the doors for us until they were ready for installation.Now - be prepared to wait. Installation did take a good six to eight weeks wait - But this is because very small company and they do one job at a time. For the cost and the freedom it was well worth it, and when they did install it took one man two days to complete.We were also able to get a frosted window for our bathroom so that we could still let light in without anyone seeing in - a problem we have been fighting for years.They were very professional, clean up was taking care of, it was relatively quiet, and even though Mike had to CUT out 11 1952 metal-framed vertical-hung horizontal-sliding double-paned windows - he never complained or charged us another cent.After all that, they sent us cookies as a thank you to them! Once again I will recommend this company to anyone. Plus they have an office cat, so you know theyre cool.

Just got the siding job finished. Am very pleased with the work and work ethic of this company. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do siding.Starting with the salesman, Howard was very clear, about how the process would work, how they would take care of the wood rot problems. The crew, oh the crew was outstanding, speedy, work, work, work. Cleanup every night before they left.Thank you!!!! Had a small repair job on a garage door metal wrap. Tech was on time and did a great job. He cleaned up after himself and made sure I was happy with the work.

Sales man was very nice. He gave a quote upfront with no gimmicks or high pressure sales pitch. Windows were exactly as advertised. Alejandro did a great job installing on a very hot day. EEC was always available to answer my questions when I had them. Was originally quoted 4-6 weeks, but didnt get the windows for 13 weeks. I do not blame EEC as they do not manufacture their own windows. I bought 8 double hung windows heartland elite series u-.29 shgc-.20 VT.47 paid around 5600 total.I will be getting a few more windows done next year and will be using EEC. Great local company.

The guy who came to my house from EEC did a great job of walking me through the process of getting the roof replaced. He even met with the Insurance adjuster when they came to look at the roof. They quickly got my roof replaced and new gutters installed on the house complete with bigger downspouts. All through the process they let me know what they were doing and what the next step was. Cant recommend them enough!!

EEC replaced my roof, gutters and downspouts as a result of hail storm damage. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company - zero issues. They were friendly, courteous and did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. I will definitely recommend EEC based on my personal experience of quality workmanship. I also plan to replace the windows/doors in my house and will use EEC for that major project as well. I couldnt be happier with their work.

EEC did a great job replacing all the windows in our home. I had bids from a number of local companies, and EEC was the most upfront and honest company that gave me a bid. They didnt go through an hour long sales speech telling me how great they were and how every other companys windows are trash. Every other bid I had, was a painful process.Their price was very reasonable and they made the process very smooth. I would recommend them for replacement windows.

The experience from beginning to end was excellent. I contacted several other companies. A very popular company quoted over $30,000 for my front windows alone. The next was a no show and the last sent a very rude rep that also quoted an outrageous price. With EEG, to start everyone was masked and/or observed social distance. Had brand new siding installed by EEC. The experience was superb from the Salesman to the installers. They were always available to answer my millions of questions and made sure the project was completed as we expected.

I went with EEC to have new gutters put on my house. There was a part of my house where they gutters that needed to be fixed. When the guy who initially came out and gave me a quote said they would fix it. He was professional and friendly but did follow through on what they promised to fix. I addressed it with them and they kept saying they will send someone out. No one has came out still and it’s been weeks since I had them put gutters on. At this point I’ve given up on calling them and trying to get done what they promised. It’s not professional to tell someone you can do a job and never complete it. I have some other projects I need done on my house and I will not be using them in the future.

We bought 7 windows for our home, to replace our old old windows and they install it too. They are beautiful strong windows. We will purchase 7 more next time and will buy again from you guys. Thank you. Good company.

We contacted EEC after a recommendation from my in-laws. They did their siding 15 years ago and it still looks great. The reasonable pricing solidified our decision, and we are more than happy with our choice. The team was quick, thorough, and very accommodating. We enjoyed working with EEC and feel that we received a great product, which gave the exterior of our home the update that it needed.

Kenny is amazing - flat out. I was hesitant on getting solar panels because everyone gives you a pitch line and try to sell you what product they want, not Kenny or his company. He makes everything easy and gives you non-biased recommendations, plus they were the best value. While there were problems throughout the project, he took care of everything and made sure that he made it right when I had issues with the electrical company going back and forth with me on my applications. Hes a good man and very honest. A friend of mine recommended EEC for new windows. I called Kenny and he was able to come to my house and give me a fair quote and time frame for some new windows. The installer, Mike, was very friendly and patient with all our questions. He was thorough and got the job done quickly and efficiently. When we had a leak around one of the new windows, Mike came out immediately and was able to find the problem. It was not related to the window installation but a poor construction job on the outside framing. Mike pulled the window out completely, searched and searched for the problem, identified it and fixed it at no cost to us! I cannot recommend EEC enough if you are in the market for quality work done by real professionals!

I cannot recommend this company enough. Honest, competitive pricing, excellent installation and workmanship, professional. safe. From the owner, Kenny, to the amazing installer Mike, my family and I are pleased with the finished product and installation of our windows and wrapping. Mike does not cut corners and has excellent work ethic. We had some wood rot from a leaking very large bay window and he took out all of the existing rotting wood, made sure there was no other damage, replaced it with new wood, installed a new 7/8 foot window and wrapped the exterior along with 4 other smaller windows. We will continue to use this company and I will continue to refer.

Once I decided I was in the market for a siding company and siding to be installed on the house I begin the long journey of doing some research. I reached out on social media and ask my neighbors about different experiences and recommendations about local siding companies with in the Northland. Not long after my post I started receiving replies about multiple companies and peoples experiences. I heard it all the good, the bad, and the ugly from people within my neighborhood. One company was repeatedly mentioned, EEC or Exterior Energy Consultants as one of the good companies to look into, and came highly recommended by multiple people. So naturally I added them to the list of must call for a quote. I reached out for a quote via their website. In less than 24 hours I was able to set up an appointment to meet and talk with someone from the company about a quote. They were very happy to come out and understood with no pressuring that I was getting multiple bids and be choosing from my list of quotes. To make a long story short EEC is who I finally chose to do the siding work on my house. they were able to schedule the work to be done within a reasonable time frame from the time I committed to them. They were actually able to do the work a lot sooner than what I was expecting considering the time of the year! My experience with EEC has been pleasant from initial contact through final walk-through. I would recommend them and will be using them in the future if I will need additional work done.

This is the best roofing outfit in Kansas City. Fast clean, not greedy and not quickie get it. They were able to get the windows in in several weeks, which was a month before our other bid, and were wer to install the windows in one day. As a single female it is scary talking to contractors. I’ve been taken advantage of before by other types of contractors. I had 4 roofing companies come out and give me estimates. Tim and Rob were incredible and my clear choice. I was ready to pay them in full for a new roof. I had my insurance claim adjuster stop by just in case any of this was covered. Tim helped me talk to my insurance guy and showed me all the hail damage all over my house. Thanks to Tim’s wisdom and help the insurance company is paying for much of what I needed. I’m so impressed I also added windows and sliding door to the project out of pocket.My project is almost finished and in a very timely manner. The crews that came to work on my house for great, especially Alex. I was home very ill one day and he rearrange the order of the work so I wouldn’t be freezing while it was so sick. It is cold out and he made sure not to take off any more siding the needed for the day, keeping my home warm.My house looks incredible and bigger with the siding they put on. Never thought it could look like this. I’m surprised they got it done so fast, those guys work very long days. I used EEC on our primary dwelling for siding, all windows, gutters and shingles. All the work was done correctly and on time. I then used them to replace the windows on a rental property. Again, all was done correctly and on time. What impressed me even more was that a window was broken by the tenant so I called EEC to see what a replacement sash would cost. I was informed it would be provided under warranty if I installed it which was simple to do. This was several years at least after the windows were installed. I just called to purchase replacement screens for some of the windows. I was again advised they would be replaced under warranty. Another pleasant surprise.I have referred them to 4 or 5 other people and all were completely satisfied. I would use them again.

When EEC Exterior Energy Consultants quotes you a price get it in writing. Your quote will change or increase in price if not in writing. I have had vinyl siding intalled one side at a time.1st South side fair priced2nd North side. Quoted a fair price. After it was completed the price went up by $500.00.3rd East side. Quoted a price. When I called to schedule 7 days later I was told, There is no way they can do it for that price. So I called Window World to come do the job for their quote they provided in writing. Get your quote in writing!!!

My current rating is going to fall in the - (negative).Will keep you posted if the roofing is replaced or if siding they damaged is repaired.Neglected to do anything as promised. They must have 2 crews. 1 that does the work in a reputable manner, and the other which is non professional and inadequate.

Nathan came out to our house and provided a quote to replace our shingles and gutters based on an insurance claim we filed for storm damage. His quote matched the insurance quote and they were able to remove the old shingles and install new ones the same week. The guttering crew werent able to come until the following week due to rain. Overall we are happy with the product, timing, payment process, and communication from Nathan and the EEC team. Its been over a month and we havent had any problems with product or installation.
