Paul Ranker is not only one of the best technicians I’ve every seen in the business but one of the most professional and friendly mechanics I have ever come across. I can’t say enough positive things about BMW of KC South. I bought our X5 there because of price but I keep coming back because of the service department. Clinton Wong is much more than a service advisor/technician he is a knowledgeable car enthusiast that serves as an advocate for his clients. Clinton is great to work with, no high pressure related sales just good quality service every time. I’ve worked with others at BMW South but Clinton is the best.

1,500 miles from home and we needed service . From start to finish Norm and the BMW of Kansas City South team were phenomenal. They very clearly explained what needed to be done and distinguished the nice to have vs must be done to ensure safety and continued operation. They bent over backwards to minimize down time and had me back on the road in less than 24-hours. Perhaps just as impressive was the way everyone made me feel more as a member of a club vs. out of town visitor. Much thanks to all!

Norm is one of the best service advisors Ive ever had. Having lived in Boston and New York for so many years, its definitely a pleasant surprise being able to come across Norm.Norm is very knowledgeable about both BMWs and third-party warranties. This is important because it means he knows when and what to submit to claims - and it also means he wont charge you for what warranty will pay for.On top of that, hes very responsive, attentive, and professional. If you ever go to BMW KC South for service, I strongly recommend asking for Norm.

Any big ticket money items give me anxiety, but I also had a preconceived notion about high end car dealerships. Orlando was down to earth, honest, and incredibly personable. The dealership did a great job with a long distance sale of a luxury car with a trade in. The process was transparent, smooth, and prompt. It was probably the easiest car purchase we have ever done. Billy Roskosh followed up promptly and provided clear guidance, complete and clear information, and was willing to do some out of the box thinking when it was required. It was advantageous to work with a dealer that has such a large footprint across the country. And appreciated how much the dealer has done to adapt and reinvent online selling.

Coordinating with him and the rest of the team across state lines was relatively straightforward and made the pickup process that much more enjoyable, as we could focus on learning to and enjoying the drive! Keith also took the time not only to show me the different advanced features of the car but also provided concrete examples of when I would use the different features. We didnt buy our car from this location due to a price that we werent comfortable with, but we do have all of our service done with them. When you go in to the service department, ask for John Strode! Hes never led us wrong, and is upfront about anything that could/may happen. A great experience from start to finish. After an exhaustive search, found the perfect 750i Xdrive at this dealership. But I live in Nashville, TN and was nervous about buying a car sight unseen. Giuseppe was great to work with - did multiple FaceTime sessions of the car, answered all my questions and was very patient. I flew in, he picked me up from the airport, got me a coffee and had everything ready to go. No pressure, no surprises, and great service. This was the way buying a car is supposed to be.

We have primarily had Lexus vehicles, but purchasing from Hendrick BMW was the same great experience we have come to know from Hendrick Group. My first BMW and there was no pressure from Billy. We purchased a used BMW but I anticipate being back in a few years to work with Hendrick BMW again.

Todays post is about my recent interactions with Tyler Johnson at the BMW of Kansas City Souths service department. In todays world, far too many people are quick to complain, yet forget to praise. Tyler deserves much praise.I dont consider myself to be an easy customer, I tend to research and try to understand whats going on before I make service appointments. And I can be that shade tree mechanic everyone in service rolls their eyes at. That didnt happen at your dealership.Both when dropping off my vehicle, and picking it up, Tyler took the time to come out of the shop and explain to me the inner workings of computer updates, coding BMWs, and convertible top motors. He took his time in his explanations, actively listened to what I had to say, and gently pointed out that each car can work differently even if the Internet says they should all operate the same.I never got the impression that he had somewhere better to be. He was actively concerned with answering all of my questions. And he ensured that my experience at BMW of South Kansas City was excellent.

I used to be Baron customer as I have had 4 BMWs over the years, however, I have switched over to BMW Kansas City South. I will never go back to Baron due to the logistics of their service center, fair customer service and lack of a loner car when you request one. John has been my service advisor and he is very professional and efficient. He provided a timely update on my car and made sure everything was to my satisfaction. The service attendant sends me a video of what has been done to my car which is something Baron never did. We drove a Lexus RX for the past 8 years. We decided on the BMW X5 due to increased storage and much better acceleration. We ordered the car with the colors & options we preferred and we were able to follow the progress on BMW’s web site. Unfortunately, some minor items were unavailable due to the chip shortage, but the dealership adjusted the price without me asking. Due to the chip shortage, the value of our Lexus actually increased during the production time and BMW Kansas City South matched another dealership’s written trade in offer on the Lexus.Giuseppe Baldin was fantastic! He answered all our questions along the way and spent time going over the car with us, even after normal business hours. With help from the dealership, we were able to register the X5 in Florida saving on sales tax. Overall a great experience and a great car!

I recently took in my BMW 228i for service. I worked with Norm Michael. He was fantastic! Generally speaking, I do not trust dealership service departments because I always worry that they are going to tell me something needs to be replaced that actually does not need replacement. I did not feel that way with Norm. He was 100% transparent about what he recommended and why. I trusted him completely and I am so glad I did. I had come to not love my BMW and it turns out that part of the problem was that my wheels were bent and I needed new tires. There was also an interior tear that I did not think could be fixed. Norm got it fixed for me! I was blown away with how different my car drove after I picked it up. I love my car again! Thanks Norm and BMW of KC South!

The salesman and sales manager were very good in directing me through the test drive and the instruments and appointments on the X3 hybrid I was interested in. They were also very knowledgable in answering my various questions. The negotiation of the purchase price also went fairly smoothly. However, among the half dozen people I ended up working with finally, there were some communication problems in getting that information correct. Also, there was a screw up in handling the financing and in getting the correct information about my credit report.

Rashell was honest throughout, down to earth, not pretentious, and we feel she brought integrity back to the occupation of Car Sales. We will most definitely purchase again and service at this dealership, specifically because of our experience with Rachell Baker. She is one of the good ones, and made a real human connection with my wife and me. Continue to love BMW of Kansas City South. Had a new service advisor Paullie Ranker… he was great! Helped me get the extended service contract turned back on for my X5, shared an electronic vehicle expecting with video and was so pleasant and easy to work with. Side note the BMW waiting area and Cafe also make it easy to wait while they work on your car. Highly recomend this store… best in the KC area for sure.

The service here never fails, I was fortunate enough to have the assistance of both Giuseppe & Sterling today. After the valve stem broke off of my wheel leaving me with a flat, Giuseppe & Sterling both took the time out of their busy schedule to come pick up my wheel and myself, take it to the dealership to then have one of the trained BMW service advisors (Paullie Ranker) replace the valve stem and inspect the tire for any other potential damage. Then took me back to my car and replaced the wheel for me! I truly couldnt appreciate the service provided by all three of these amazing staff members of Hendrick BMW of Kansas City South anymore.

I had such a great experience here last week! Blake, the salesman, was really personable, friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciated how comfortable he helped me feel through the whole process. Jeff and Reggie in finance were very thorough in explaining to me the documents and figures. Sooo incredibly thorough and competent! I received a link to a video of the inspection of the car! The technician explained everything and made some great recommendations for things to keep an eye on (i.e. new tires in the future). The advisor kept me up to date via text message. Love this place! Will definitely use them for all future service needed!

I would recommend the service department at this dealership because of the service I was given from Matt and Norm. I would not EVER recommend BMW after my experience. Our daughters 2013 BMW X3 with a N20 engine was locked up because of the timing chain issue that all of these vehicles have. We literally had the car less than 6 months when the engine lost all power. This vehicle is actually part of a class action lawsuit which you would think BMW would step up and take care of their customers....well that was and is not the case. Under the class action lawsuit the vehicle qualified for BMW to pay 40% of the new engine and I had to pay 60% ($6,875). Let me also add that this car literally had to sit until the settlement details got worked out so for like 5 months we have been without a vehicle because of the faulty timing chain. I rated this dealership 5 stars because the service provided by the employees that work here. A lot of times people don’t realize the surveys and reviews reflect on the employees that work in the local office and impact them. My issue had nothing to do with them. As soon as they were told that BMW was going to good will 40% of the engine they got my vehicle done in less than 4 days. I am thankful for Matt’s sense or urgency and patience with dealing with this nightmare. I know he was limited by what he could do to help. It is just a shame that BMW does not care about their customers and making sure that they do the right thing. It happens you make a bad product....in this case the timing chain on several BMW’s so step up and fix the problem abs take care of your customers. This class action lawsuit had several loopholes that favors BMW not the customer. I know that I will never own another BMW not will I ever recommend one to anyone.

Came to the dealer for a used Acura MDX which had a very competitive price. Rep. Giuseppe Baldin met with us and there was no sale push from him, just good detailed info on the vehicle. Like he is the one to purchase the vehicle, very knowledgeable of the car. No pain to agree on a final sale price, no math game played on financing. Be prepared to sit through a presentation of extended warranty session with the financial officer. Final words, will come back if need another vehicle.
