We looked online a little out of our area, and found Mike Nakhel Flooring. They were exceptionally well reviewed, so we called and set up an appointment to talk about our plans.Our visit ran a little long as we had a particularly challenging aspect of the job - replacing a carpeted staircase with a curved wall on one side, and a circular base on the other - with hardwood flooring 😬Mike was very patient as we worked through several options, and concerns. With his help, we were finally able to settle on the right wood, and set up an install date. Mike made sure to keep us updated, and spoke with us from start to finish.The crew arrived and were GREAT. The truck was equipped with everything they might need, and was incredibly neat and well organized. We really wanted to use a locally owned company for our new floor. After reading reviews for Mike Nakhel we paid them a visit at their shop. His wife was very helpful in showing us a lot of possibilities and answering our questions about the different products.After we selected the engineered wood we wanted Mike came out to do an estimate. He was friendly and professional. He answered any questions we had and explained the entire process.After accepting his estimate his crew came out and did a very clean and professional install. Moving large pieces of furniture and replacing them in their exact positions when they were done. Two bedrooms, an office and living/dining room were all leveled and installed in less than a week. At our old house, we had numerous problems with the our floors. We used a big box company where the installers where independently contracted. When the floors started to buckle, no one would take accountability. The company that sold us the floors said it was the installers fault. The installers said it was a faulty product. In the end, we ( the customer), got the short end of the stick! So when it came time to buy another house, we wanted to go with a company that would service us through the whole process. Mike Nakhel Flooring came recommended to us by a flooring inspector . I cannot say enough great things about this company! Mike helped us pick out a floor that would be perfect for our needs. He also made sure the subflooring was properly prepped so we would have lasting years with our new floor. Additionally, Mike and his team of installers worked through the weekend and into the night on a Friday and Saturday so that we could move in on a Sunday. Mike and his crew were one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. We were having some work done in our home by another contractor who was terrible - left in the middle of the job, leaving us with a mess after 6 weeks. Mike came over within a day or two, was extremely professional and had a quote to me within 24 hours and a start date. He does not normally install flooring from another supplier but given our situation he was willing to install the floor. His crew arrived on time, prepared, knowledgeable and professional. They prepared the three rooms on Day 1 and by Day 2 all three rooms had beautiful new flooring. My house was clean and the floor was perfect when they wrapped up on Day 2. I have already referred Mike to my neighbors and I will only use Mike for any of the flooring in my house that needs to be replaced. If you want exceptional professionalism, quality of workmanship and excellent communication - this is the only company you should call. They are absolutely top shelf.

Mike was very personable and professional from day one. He was very patient with us, my wife and I spent a long time deciding which tile to use (only took 3 trips!). After scheduling the install, they were prompt and courteous. Services performed included: Removing 1200 + sq feet of engineered wood flooring, cleaning floor. Sealing floor due to moisture issues and slab cracks. Apply crack barrier throughout, lay tile, grout, clean, replace trim and doors. Almost two weeks! But so worth it, beautiful end result. Get rid of old carpeting and have wood or the wood-look ceramic tile installed. Mike was professional and courteous and made us feel comfortable from the beginning. He has a good selection of products. His pricing is consistent with other companies we have contacted. Here are the differences. By using Mike, we are using a locally owned business. The flooring was done 6 days from our first visit to his shop. Awesome response time. Mike has his own installation team. No sub-contractors. A major plus. His licensing and insurance are in place and current.Biggest one is the quality of his products and the installation team. They removed sheet flooring and carpeting. They did an AMAZING job. The floor is perfect. The new baseboards are perfect. The way they staggered the joints and randomness of the grain of the boards is terrific. We could not have asked for a better job. The installers left the house spotlessly clean. We did not fine as much as a splinter of wood or a bit of saw dust in the house.Use Mike. You will be sorry only if you use someone else.

We just had our whole house updated with new flooring by Mike Nakhel Flooring in Jacksonville, Florida. We love it. Mike helped us pick the flooring that was best for us. There was no sales pressure. He let us take samples home so we could compare them to our furnishings in different lighting situations.We have cats, and carpeting just wasn’t working. Plus, our old floor was way out of date. We decided that the best solution was to replace all of our flooring with Pergo Extreme vinyl planking. The continuous planking throughout the house makes it look bigger by eliminating the artificial barriers between carpet, tile, and wood.We feel like we moved into a new home.Finally, we have to say that we were impressed with the professionalism exhibited by Mike’s entire team from sales to installation. We recently employed Mike Nakhel Flooring to install wood floors in our living room, kitchen, and dining room. I can HIGHLY recommend Mike. More than two months later we noticed a kitchen cabinet baseboard was interfering with a cabinet door closing properly. I called Mike at 10am and by 2pm he had someone out to address this issue. It turns out it wasnt the baseboard that was the problem. However, Lucas adjusted the cabinet door. Problem solved. No charge! Youve got to use this company!
