Jeff spent a lot of time helping us get the right carpet type and color for our church auditorium, along with the right price. He was professional, patient, attentive, kind and caring. He and Debbie (in the office) were great to work with. They got us samples of various colors and designs. He came out to our church and took all the measurements. He kept in touch about timelines for receiving the carpet and the installation process. The installers were on time and were also great to work with. The whole experience was great! Edit: The owner called to inquire about my rating and clarify my concerns, which is admirable. He explained the request for cash to remain affordable/ competitive.Im basing this review off of my initial meeting with this company.I requested quote for wood flooring for approx. 1900 Sq ft. I was quoted $11 to $12 per square feet, plus a fee to move furniture, if needed, so over $20k. Then, the gentlemen told me they would prefer this in check/cash over credit card. I found that last requirement to be very specific and odd for the dollar amount involved. No one else has said this to me.Ill update if I converse further.

We have used Jeff and his team in the last few houses weve lived in. Weve had nothing but stellar experiences. They are communicative, show up on time and the crew leaves your floors in impeccable condition when they are done. (Cleaned, vacuumed perfectly, etc) We highly recommend Affordable Carpet and Wood , and they are our go-to vendor!!

I LOVE my wood floors from Affordable Carpet & Wood. I admire them each time I come home and my visitors always remark how beautiful they are. The product is Villa Borghese, color is Brunella, 8 plank. Jeff Howard (owner) was such a pleasure to work with, he was so responsive. I felt in good hands the whole time. Installation by Timmy was the BEST. My house was build in 1985 and I guess the slab was quiet uneven. They did so much prep work and their work paid off with my gorgeous flooring. The stair nose work was flawless with color matching that was perfect. When you are rehabing your house lots can go wrong, but with my flooring everything went right. I dont normally leave reviews but my experience was truly exceptional. I chose Affordable Carpet & Wood bc they were recommended by a friend. We replaced about 2,000 sq ft of our floors (glue down parquet) with a laminate product. The crew was hands-down the best weve ever had do work in the house. Meticulous, pleasant and clean. In the rental, we had LVT installed on ground floor and the old linoleum pulled out. This required substantial preparation work to ensure a smooth install which was done expertly. The installers were on time and worked until the jobs were completed. The carpets upstairs (including stairs) were removed, new padding and new carpet installed. A partial section of my wood floor had been flooded and I thought matching it would be impossible. Jeff was able to match the existing floor to the point where I cant see where the old one ends and the new one begins; and to add more misery, the tongue of the new planks were milled on the opposite side of the old ones. The Installer for Jeff had to custom cut each and every plank and portion of wood. The result was nothing short than a miracle. My wood floor looks exactly like it did the day it was originally installed 5 yrs. earlier. EXCELLENT WORK and completed in record time without rushing one single piece of wood. If youre thinking about getting a new floor (regardless of type); Jeff is as honest as the day is long and his installers have been with him for 20+ years. An interior designer picked out a carpet from another source, but I had used Affordable in the past and wanted to use them again (Jeff has carpeted my mother’s old and new house, and my old and new house). I found an identical carpet as the designer, same quality. I had samples for color choice sent to me for free, and got the carpet installed timely for less than what the designer could get it for at her professional discount at other carpet place. Saved myself about $500 on a 15x15 room. I’ll be back!

My experience with Affordable Carpet and Wood was one of the most pleasant Ive experienced. The responses to all my questions were research and answered promptly. The installers were courteous & professional. They arrived when they said they would and even called me to verify this information. There was some prep work that needed to be done that we had not anticipated due to the floor being uneven. They took the time to do this extra step so my floor would be installed properly. When they were finished, they worked with me to replace my extremely heavy dining room table in the exact location I wanted, removed all their materials & thoroughly cleaned the floor before leaving. I couldnt have been happier and would recommend them to anyone.

We had hardwood floors installed twice with Affordable Carpet & Wood. I was very impressed by the prompt and professional installation crew for both jobs! Timmy and Jimmy and their team is amazing! We are very pleased with the look of our new floors! Jeff, the salesman is also very nice, and he did all of the measuring for the job. Very polite to talk to. But sometimes hard to catch because he stays very busy! But he always returned my call or texted me if I had any questions.

Wonderful people to work with! They ordered my carpet and installed it on the date they said they would and they bound some of my leftover carpet and made a rug for me. If I need carpet in the future I will definitely get it from them.

They dont service all areas in jax. I called a carpet company to get a quote the owner calls me back and says he doesnt service this area. They are on sunbeam rd 16 miles from my home. On one of their Google reviews the customer is at Atlantic beach almost 22 miles away and he serviced that area.
