I had a roll down hurricane shutter installed on a 6 ft sliding door with a mechanical mechanism (as opposed to an electrical motor to lower and raise the shutter). The experience is what Id hope every service business would be. Brent, Sam and Jeff were professional from the start, consistent in what they were saying, and their price was about 10% lower (or more) than any other quote. They delivered ahead of schedule, and Carlos and Sebastian who installed the shutter were very professional, well spoken, courteous and efficient. I would, without hesitation, recommend First Coast Hurricane Shutters to anyone!

We recently moved to the area and purchased a home with roll-down shutters already installed. We werent sure whether our shutters were in good working order and searched for a company that could give us an evaluation and possibly provide maintenance. We contacted First Coast and were not disappointed. Rather than try to sell us new shutters or enroll us in a maintenance plan that we didnt need, Jeff, the owner, was professional, knowledgeable, and forthright in advising that what we had was in good shape & required minimal upkeep. He gave us tips on how to clean, paint & maintain the shutters ourselves and options for repairs should the need arise. He did this at no charge to us, despite knowing we would not be able to contract with First Coast for any services at this time. We cannot thank him enough for his time and assistance, and mostly for his honesty, having no doubt that we will not hesitate to call First Coast in the future. First Coast Hurricane Shutters installed 4 beautiful Bahama shutters, designed to match other existing units on my house. These shuttets are true quality! There was a wait during manufacturing, but absolutely worth it. Dressed up a very boring, long, west-facing wall, shields rooms from intense sun, passing headlights, and feels more open than having blinds tightly closed all the time. Dependable first class service.

Had a great experience with First Coast Hurricane Shutters! They were professional, had great pricing and were upfront about delays due to COVID. We had the motorized shutters intalled on our HUGE patio openings as well as windows. Very happy and we use the shutters all the time! (If its too cold we put the shutters down and turn the patio heater on. If its raining, we put the shutters down on the patio. If my husband is working nights and needs to sleep during the day, we put the shutters down in the bedroom. Movie night? If the kids want to have a blacklight party in the middle of the day, we put all of the shutters down!) We did have one problem and they took care of it right away.
