Today I had all of the windows replaced in my 1949 bungalow by Ace Door and windows. After waiting several months for the windows to be made installation day finally arrived.The men arrived on time and got to work right away. They had two crews and to a man they were all awesome. The supervisor told me what was going to happen and when. Throughout the day the crew maintained a positive, fun but professional attitude and manner.I asked for a couple of “extras” which they accommodated with pleasure I might add. Very unusual in these times.To say I was pleased doesn’t go far enough. Their clean-up was superb and left little for me to do even though I will have my weekly cleaning tomorrow.If you are entertaining the thought of new windows or replacement, please give Ace Door and Windows serious consideration.

The company came with a large number of very professional men who did an excellent job replacing our 27 windows and 2 sliding glass doors in a day quicker than they predicted. They cleaned up beautifully, rehung the blinds I needed help with, and made sure I was happy and satisfied before they left. I was especially struck with how polite they were not just with us but also with each other. Clearly they value working as a team with each other and appreciate the company they work for. Shaun Ahern was the very professional supervisor in charge and was available for me when I had questions or needed help.I strongly recommend them.

They were great to work with. Their team was always extremely polite and professional. We went with CWS for the windows and PGT for the slider since they are both right here in Florida. Windows and doors look great on the inside. Some of the areas arent finished due to ongoing work, but they finished everything I asked them to. My only complaint is the finish on the outside. While they addressed a few big issues, many of the caulk lines are sloppy, as you can see in the pics. We are planning on painting the exterior, so not a deal-breaker for me. Just something to consider.

I am very pleased with the service from Ace Door & Window. They installed a new front door over a year ago & I noticed the finish on the door handle was easily scratched. Ace got a replacement handle (under warranty) & Joe not only replaced it, but inspected & meticulously made adjustments to the door & all molding to insure that everything was perfect. Had three exterior doors installed. Team was on-time, polite, and worked in 100 F heat without a complaint. Team spent time fine tuning the details- lazer levels, shims, quarter round used to full transition gaps- even had a helper who’s job was to clean the entire time.

The initial installation resulted in absolutely beautiful sliding doors that we fell in love with, but it left scuff marks and scrapped paint surrounding the door frames. Thankfully the company reached out afterwards to repair the installation marks, and in doing so, they truly went above and beyond!Victor came out to our home the following morning and did a beautiful job on the entirety of it, and even provided options in how to finalize the door framing. My husband and I couldnt be more thankful. It wasnt a simple process, but at the end of it all - we have new doors that we are absolutely proud of to show off to our friends and Ace impressed us in their handling of things from the very beginning until the very last minute. We got estimates from three companies. Ace was the clear winner for responsiveness, communication, the product offered, and the price. Once we placed our order there was about a three month delay because the manufacturer was behind because of Covid, but that wasnt the fault of Ace. Once the windows and slider came in Shauns team did a very professional job doing the install. Its been almost two months since the install and my wife and I still talk every day about what a good decision we made.

I had my door installed December 3, 2020. My door was installed by Shaun Ahern and his partner and they did a wonderful job. They were scheduled to arrive to my home at 8:30 am and were at my house by 8:29 am. They were polite, nice, and very professional. When they were done the job was well done and the new doorway as a whole was beautiful. Shaun explained the process from start to finish and provided contact information for any questions or concerns. I just had my sliding glass door replaced today by Steve and Desmond and they did a phenomenal job. We had some minor issues with some trim but they were friendly and did a good job. The only problem we had with Ace Door was that it took almost 7 months from the time of order until delivery because PGT (the manufacturer) was behind. Not Ace Door’s fault but their customer service has been great through the whole process. Thanks!

NO SHOW ...The tech rep rescheduled on us 4 times and the call reps were unprofessional and uninformative to say the least. We dealt with this company for over a week now trying to get our food repaired...We ended up having to call another company ***(Precision Garage Door) ***to assist with our garage door.

After asking about a neighbors experience with Ace Door & Window and getting positive reviews, I decided not to go big box and use them to replace the front door on my 1938 house. I could not be more pleased! We had some setbacks with scheduling due to COVID restrictions but once they got me on the books, everything went smoothly. My installer has been with the company for over 20 years and did a fabulous job with the front door, it works like a dream and looks great!

We had two trees hit our house during Hurricane Irma and hired the worst contractors ever (Pillar Construction -stay far away) due to that experience we went into this one with our guard way up. We were looking at replacing all of our windows and doors. Probably 30,000 + job when we sent a request for an estimate we were told we were a little too far away and there would be a $75.00 trip charge. Needless to say we won’t be using this company as all of their competitors were happy to come out and offer free estimates. We live in The town of Orange Park” I would hate to see what they would charge for Fleming Island, Eagle Harbor & Middleburg. If it stated in their website there is a 75.00 trip charge for Orange Park residents it wouldn’t bother me as much but I’d probably reach out to others first. A job this size you shouldn’t be nickeled & dimed in my opinion!

The installers were fast, efficient, and friendly. They answered all of our questions and did a great job installing the door. The door is exactly what we were looking for and the time from ordering to installing was very reasonable.

I have an old 90 year old home that has settled unevenly and is not level, so we needed a custom door. They did a great job of installing and the door looks significantly better then what we had before.

Ace door was fantastic! From email at initial contact to finish. They installed a steel door and did an amazing job. There were issues with leaking that he ran into, but he figured it out, spent all the time he needed and did not charge me extra. I highly recommend Ace Door and will use them when I replace my windows, in a few months.

Awesome installation by Victor and crew. Very professional, clean and experts in their craft. The Neuma vinyl sliding door looks amazing, has great looking hardware, blocks out all sounds and the elements.

I wanted to replace the old, single pane Kinco windows where I live. The owner of Ace Door & Window came to my condo and measured the openings so that each window would fit just right. After some time passed, the custom-manufactured windows were ready to be installed. A crew of four, Chris, Neal, Eric, and Joe, arrived early in the day and began the monumental task of removing the old windows and installing the new windows which are Eastern Architectural Systems single-hung, vinyl frame, double-glazed, argon fill, low-E, and pressure rated at 50. The county building inspector came the next day to inspect the windows and gave them and the installation thumbs up. Its too soon to tell about energy savings from these new windows, but I think they will contribute to lower power bills. They windows look great and operate smoothly and I am very happy to have the job completed by Ace Door & Window.Richard10/29/14

We called Ace Door & Window again in Oct 2020 (see first review below from a few years ago) and they sent one of their guys out (Joe). He was knowledgable, friendly, and conscientious. Didnt take him long to fix the problems on the PGT doors. Both times theyve done what was needed and been pleasant to deal with.First review:They came out the first time pretty quickly after we called. They determined what needed to be ordered to repair our PGT windows and then ordered the parts. Once the parts arrived, they scheduled an appointment and came out and fixed the windows and were here on time. The guys were professional and personable. The only slow part was when they had to wait for the parts from the supplier, but that wasnt under their control (obviously). I would definitely recommend them and if we need repairs done again, well call them back. Thank you!

I had to hire an attorney to get these people to fix sliding glass doors and an octagon window they gave a lifetime warranty on. They charged me for a permit, and sent me a check after Id hired an attorney for the $75.00 permitting fee they failed to pull.They noted on the check it was for refunded materials which was a lie. The owners are crooks.They took six weeks to fix this problem, and hurricane season is upon us.Stay away from them!
