Skinner Waste solutions suck! They make up violations that you are not actually doing, so they can fine you and get additional money! So sad!

What can I say other than AMAZING service! If you are a community looking to add to your residents amenities, this is BEST way to go. We have had a great deal of residents stay with us since we had this service. These guys are always on time, professional, and extremely reliable. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I’ve been a resident at Coventry Park where this company collects trash. Employees constantly skips trash bags. Very lazy and does the bare minimum! Horrible employees with bad management! This is the third time i’ve had to complain to my office about them skipping a small little trash bag. They literally are so lazy they can only grab half of your trash!

I have been using Skinner Waste Solutions for five years now (with properties I manage/managed) and I cant express enough how satisfied I am with their consistent customer service. Always on time and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a valet waste company. They are definitely the best in the business!

*EDIT* I have added two stars as I believe the owner deserves credit for quickly reaching out to remedy the situation. I submitted my review at 11:30pm last night and he responded first thing this morning. Russell Skinner assured me that he will look into the matter at once, and offered to have someone come out immediately to remove my trash, but my husband had already removed it early this morning before heading out to work. I hope that the valet service will be a more pleasant one from here forth as I dislike leaving bad reviews and would like to be able to add at least another star in the future.---------The one star is strictly because I wouldnt be able to tell you why I wish I could drop this service unless I provided one. They deserve none.The complex I live in switched to this company around November. Since then, they have not picked my trash up at all on four different occasions, including tonight, 03/10/19. Coincidently, I sent an email to my leasing office about this this past Friday, 03/08/19, and they assured me that they would contact them regarding the dates I sent them. They dont do trash pickups on Friday-Saturday (which is a terrible deal. Trash pickup should never be left off for more than one day), so I guess tonight was payback night. I follow all of their guidelines. My trash never weighs more than 25 lbs (I make sure that they never weigh more than my dogs, which only weigh 17 lbs). If I feel that my trash is over the weight limit, we take it to the dumpster ourselves. Apart from not picking my trash up those nights, they often pick the trash up late. Ive gone to bed while my trash is sitting in the can, and they expect you to haul that dirty can that has been rained on and other animals have crawled on all night back into your home. If you dont, they get your leasing office to start threatening you with fines. They wont hold up their end of the deal, yet they expect you to hold up yours. Whats worse is that you are obligated to pay for this service as it is a contract with the complex. So no matter how unhappy you are with the service, you cant cancel! I can always throw the can in my garage and take my trash to the dumpster myself, but theyll continue to charge me every month. This service has been nothing but an inconvenience and a hassle. Between their poor work and my leasing offices failure to help remedy this situation, Im at the point where as a person who suffers from anxiety and depression Im seriously considering breaking my lease and moving somewhere where I can deal with my own trash. This is how bad this company is!

If you are looking for a valet trash service family look no more Skinner is everything you need and more! They truly care about their properties and our residents. The service is top notch with amazing customer service and so responsive. Thanks Skinner looking forward to many more years with you all.

Fake warnings and fines, aggressive customer policy, not always remove all trash.1. At my previous apartment complex they gave me a warning because I didnt put the recycled(!) trash bag into their bin like it attracts pests.2.Last week they didnt take the 2nd bag.3.This week they gave me a warning for the 2nd bag not in the bin. I even didnt put 2 bags out this night. Either some of my neighbors put their trash there (doubt), or Skinner employee put it there to get extra warnings and fines.And I cant cancel the service...

Husky female is my only complaint. 2 pumpkins in a tied bag was to much weight. But my 11 year old carried it to the trash no problem.

I manage a Brand new Class A property here in Jacksonville and have nothing but great things to say about Skinner Waste Solutions. Theres been a few times a residents trash was missed, but our account manager Nick and now Frank both came by on the separate occasions and personally took care of the reported issues within an hour. Thanks for your outstanding customer service guys!

If you are planning to work for this company don’t. I was working for them in metro west and wasn’t notified about the complex’s disgusting infestation. Now I have a roach infestation in my home that was once free from any kind of insect. It’s disgusting and to add to that you will get disrespected and when there’s a problems whether it has to do with tenants or with the job itself, they’ll brush you off and tell you what you want to here and never deal with the problem. Not worth your peace of mind or the stress it comes with.

The trash guys in all of their infinite wisdom telling me my trash weighs more than 25 pounds without the use of a scale, or that is is placed inappropriately, to nickel and dime with fees. What great service!

Excellence from the top down! Ive worked with Skinner for over a year and they do what they say and always deliver above and beyond my expectations. They are consistent, professional and responsive, and I would highly recommend them.

This service is really bad they do not pick up my trash bags for many days..they do nit work from friday to Monday ..this people are a scam i give u 1 star

This is a terrible valet trash service. They often do not grab my trash, and there have been some evenings that they have been scheduled to pick up trash where they don’t even show up at all! Some evenings they are too lazy to even put our trash in the compactor so they just leave a huge pile of garbage bags on the compactor steps! Disgusting and definitely a health code violation. If you leave out two bags, they will never pick up the second bag, and forget recyclables. Oftentimes my boyfriend follows behind them and throws away all of our neighbors’ trash that Skinner Waste Services leaves behind, we have made videos showing them doing a terrible job and reported them but nothing changes. One of the biggest reasons we will not be renewing our lease is SWS and their terrible service, if I could give them negative stars I would. Their five star reviews look fake, I can’t imagine any property manager actually being satisfied with their services because they have to field so many complaints, I know our property manager has had to apologize on their behalf to multiple residents on multiple occasions.

We pay them with our app rent, but our trash never gets picked up.
