Buying and/or selling your house is not easy. It takes a lot of your time and it is so stressful. Without a good realtor, you would be miserable. However, we are lucky we have the services of a very knowledgeable and very professional realtor in the person of JEFF BURGESS. We just bought a beautiful house in Jacksonville, Florida and we are over the moon with happiness, thanks to Jeff. Jeff made it possible for us to buy that house even if we were so far away then, communicating with him only thru emails and texts. Jeff took the stress away from us by handling everything--he is very trustworthy. When it was time to close on that house, we asked ourselves is that it? since the process was just too smooth and stress-free. We highly recommend Jeff -- he is the best in the real estate business. With him, you get a whole package of benefits. Thank you are two little words, but it comes from the heart of super-satisfied customers----to JEFF BURGESS! You are one hell of a realtor.

I rented from this company last year Conrad was the one who give me the apartment he was very nice. The apartment wasn’t in a good shape. I have pictures and video of how I got the apartment and the condition it was the carpet was dirty I had never received a pool key or gate pass. When I move out I left the everything cleaner than I have received the apartment everything was looking brand new. I had scheduled an appointment with Jeff Burgess to do a walk through he never showed up didn’t even call me to said he was in a meeting I was in a rush to move back to palm beach he call after two hours saying to left the keys everything for him. I received a certified mail letter with false damages he claims that I cost which is so untrue I just can’t believe how this company function. I been calling them they never pick up they so unprofessional, and they will rip off peoples lying to benefit their needs is crazy during this hardly COVID time peoples are struggling to make end meets and they lying to collect more money from peoples. I need my deposit back I haven’t been working since COVID 😢🤦‍♀️

I rented fromThis company. I waited almost 6 months to get my deposit back. The only reason I got it back was because I went to the company. When I went to the business to explain my disputes in person since they didn’t respond to the 2 certified letters that i sent to Jeff Burgess, they told me if I want the full refund I can sue them. They were very unprofessional. I was disputing the charges because I was being charged for items I never received such as mailbox keys, gate key fab, pool key fab. if they were going to not accept the dispute they could have at least wrote back or called to let me know. I will not be renting fromThem again. I will not recommend anyone to them.

Was satisfied greatly with the selection of renters carefully selected by Jeff Burgess, at Century 21. With the many interior updates that were needed, he knew who would be best for the improvements, which were made quickly for desirable renters. the reference I had from staff at Hillwood Condos proved to be in my best interest. a trusted advisor was what was needed, as I was too quick to have it rented. The updates and repairs were made quickly to prepare for waiting renters. i would have no reason to look anywhere else, and gladly would recommend Century 21 to other people.

This place is great especially Su-Ling Morrow. She was very helpful and understanding. If you’re looking for a place to rent or buy she’s the person to talk to. She also has great connections on getting a house so definitely talk to her if you need assistance. She is very persistent and will get you a home. Would recommend 10/10 times.

Melissa Lenertz is wonderful! She helped me sell my house in Green Cove without a glitch! It happened so fast and she helped me with every step! She’s full of insight and great advice for all types of realty selling questions I had! If she couldn’t answer right away, she’d know someone who did and always got back to me in a timely fashion! She’s great and always smiling! She clearly loves what she does and goes above and beyond to make her customers happy!

Very few rental propertys on their ownership they do not fix properly or in a satisfactory time period ..essencial stuff like refrigerator .bathroom fixtures..and when they do is reclaimed, old stuf or a short cheap fix..!!. horrible management .do not rent from them ..

What a great reality company. Melissa Blair Lenterz was wonderful to deal with! She answered the phone whenever we called and communicated with us through a tough closing, which really put us at ease. Two years ago, my family and I were looking to find a new rental property that would accommodate our immediate needs; and keep us in the Oakleaf area so our children could continue attending the same schools.Jeff and the team at Century 21 Lighthouse Realty did a great job of ensuring the leasing process was smooth and seamless.When the property we were living in went on the market; he was an invaluable source of assisting us with renter law, transition procedures, etc...Id highly recommend using them for renting or purchasing home. Bought my house in August of 2016. Melissa Lenertz was wonderful and went above and beyond. She was awesome. She has a great, bubbly personality and is very professional. This was my first home purchase and she answered all questions that we had and helped us through every step of the process. Too bad the seller’s agent wasn’t as awesome 😉

I will share my experience.We are in property for 3 months, in less than 30 days we talk with Jeff Burgess we told him that we need to repair some things (Ceiling fan, microwave, vertical blinds). We rented this property with the broken shower and in took 2 weeks to repair the shower. We had to call them to see when they repaired it. And not only that the air condition is damaged since Sunday and they are not do nothing yet.Jeff BurgessI trying to contact you 3 times today July 9 2019, you didn’t answer, also I called at you office and leave a message and I’m still waiting for you call me back. I’m not a selfish I’m a mother I have 2 kids is really incontrolable sleep with out the air conditioner after cooked.

Hailing showed a rental home that I fell in love with. I asked her if anyone had put an application in and she told me no that I would be the first. So that same day I submitted an application and paid . Two days later the property manager emailed me asking for pay stubs and I submitted to her. The SAME day I scheduled to meet with Hailing at the property she texts me 2 hrs before we suppose to meet that someone put a deposit down on the home. Can you explain to me why it took you longer to process my application compared to someone elses if I submitted my application first and sent you all the information you need ASAP. Obviously someone had their application in before mine. It takes at least 1-2 business days for a complete background check, credit check, employment and rental verification. They made it clear to me that they dont choose the best candidate they choose who THEY want to rent their properties to. Good thing I didnt get a place with these people.

Because this place is very unprofessional they didn’t get back with me in a timely matter when I suggested to try to rent another property from them they just denied me altogether even though I have strong credit and strong income this place is really shady and I think I was scammed out of my money please beware

Jeff Burgess and his team at Lighthouse Realty did a dynamite professional job on helping us sell our property.Jeff helped my wife and I navigate a minefield of legal and financial issues that almost had us upside down. Not only did he get us through the mire, but he accomplished the mission after we had moved out of town to another market. We came out the other side with some money in our pocket and glad that we had that kind of experienced help on our side.He was always there to answer questions and lend support. Selling a property you raised your children in can be very emotional. Lighthouse Realty will be there for service after the sale. Id give them a call again, seriously. If we have to move back to Jax, theyll be our team.

I just recently purchased a house in Green Cove Springs (May 2019) with Realtor Melissa Lenertz. Using due diligence, I hired a housing inspector who found numerous items requiring repair/replacement. Unfortunately, the realtor didnt follow up in the time allotted by the contract so the seller refused to fix 3 costly repairs and my re-inspection period elapsed which would have allowed for termination of the contract. Again, the Realtor failed to follow up on the repairs the Seller agreed to fix. I called the Realtor the night before the closing to inquire about the final house walk through.She said we would do the walk through prior to closing. On the morning of the closing, I called her Broker only to discover both of them were at a Realtor Ethics Hearing. The Realtor told me to go to the house & see if the repairs were completed (which they were not). Unfortunately, i could not check inside the house & later after the closing found out that the Sellers lied on the Property Disclosure form about not owning the propane tank buried in the front yard. The Seller had the propane gas company lock the tank and refund them money for the propane in the tank. When i spoke with the Reators Broker-Jeff Burgess was very in different (he already received his money from the sale) and suggested I obtain an attorney! I would highly recommend that no one use this Realtor or Broker to list their house or their services to buy a house! Litigation will follow.

We recently purchased a house and Melissa Lenertz was recommended to us by some of her previous clients. All I can say is wow!! She was very attentive to our want and needs list, extremely patient without pressuring us at all. (Poor lady must have met with us and shown us close to a dozen houses.) We were seeing wonderful homes, but just not the one. We were about to throw in the towel for the Hollidays were looming and figured we would resume the search after the New Year. But then it happened, Melissa called us at what I would presume to be after working hours and said she had 1 more we need to look at....low and behold we fell in love and purchased the house. She was very insightful and helpful with pointing out issues we would need to have the homeowner address prior to closing, and made sure all repairs were completed properly. I would highly recommend Melissa Lenertz if you are looking to purchase a new home!!! Five stars!! Thanks Melissa!!

Jeff and his team are really shady and I would not recommend using them for your rental needs. Ineffective communication and lack compassion should be there slogan. According to their policy, everything is tenant responsible regardless of decaying and faulty appliances, etc. Any maintenance issues you have you will receive an outrageous invoice without any photographic or proof that the problems are in fact tenant responsibility or due to tenant neglect. Highly disappointed!!!In response to your reply:First, No one is bullying you or your company. I am entitled to express my opinion. Second, for you to insinuate that this is attempt to avoid paying my Rent is LAUGHABLE!! Third, After speaking to Hailang, who really explained that your company is just the middle man and you have No true power in settling tenant/landlord concerns I chose to let my grievances go. Let it go and give it to God.

Selecting 1 star as 0 isnt an option...Rented a house from Jeff and Kiran for two years with almost no issues. We were good renters--kept the house clean and always paid on-time--and Jeff was usually responsive when we would contact the office with an issue.When it came time to move out, we did a final walk-through with Jeff and Kiran during which they remarked how nice the house looked, and how their job “would be easy” if all tenants were like us. We heard nothing from them after move-out until three weeks later when we received certified mail with a check, and a letter explaining that they had taken 2/3rds of our security deposit to fix things in the house.We responded to Jeff and Kiran with a letter of our own within their 15-day “objection window,” providing a counterpoint to each of the items listed, and even provided pictures of the house from our move-in day showing things in the same--if not better--condition. We received a confirmation when the letter was received at their office, and then for *6* weeks we tried to get in touch with Jeff and Kiran. We left voicemails on his cell phone, text messages, sent multiple emails, and called the office repeatedly throughout that time. We received no response, and every time we would “surprise” the office assistant, we were told that Kiran was the only one that could handle deposits and she was always on the phone, away from her desk, or busy with another customer. We were always told a message would be left with Kiran, but never heard a word back from her.After 6 weeks of trying and getting nowhere, we finally decided to stop pursuing any type of response from Jeff and Kiran and to work on publicizing their shady business practices. They have flat-out refused to contact us back about the deposit; if they disagreed with our letter it would have been simple enough for them to call and explain the deductions. Instead, they have gone out of their way to avoid our contact.My wife and I feel like Jeff and Kiran stole money from us, and we strongly recommend for everyone to avoid Century 21 Lighthouse Realty. There are lots of good local options for renting or purchasing a home; Jeff and Kiran are not one of them.
