I had an appointment. They text and called everyday to remind me . I showed up at 8am and my service guy didn’t show up. Someone else tried to help but the part I needed to have replaced was not in stock nor had it been ordered. Huge wast of my time. They had been texting for a errand staid I could upgrade and stay close to my same payments. Huge wast of time again . They didn’t have a new or used vehicle to keep me anywhere close to my payments. I received a text after my visit and told them about all this to absolutely no response. I won’t be back.

The service manager, Mr. Maxwell, was great. In my opinion, the way he handles himself, is the way you’d expect someone of his title to carry on. That being said, the service guy, David, was very was rude, with no customer service skills to speak of. I went to the dealership service department to get a 100k regular maintenance, and I requested it online, along with a shuttle ride home. When I arrived, I also requested that my “check engine light” be diagnosed. David recommended I get the engine light checked first, before getting the maintenance done. I agreed that was a sensible course of action. He told me verbally, on site, if I get the work done that the diagnostic recommends, that the cost of the diagnostic would be removed. I asked for the shuttle I requested online, and I was told, due to COVID, shuttles weren’t available, even though I was lead to believe, online that it was. David said there was no way that he could help me. So I was forced to asked for a manager. I spoke to Mario, then Mario spoke to Mr. Maxwell, who ultimately drove me home himself. While waiting to be taken home, I asked David for a copy of the repair order. David’s reply was that Nimnicht never gives the customer a repair order, and in his “10+ years,” a customer has never asked for one. He begrudgingly printed one out for me, after I insisted. The work order showed an engine diagnostic, and an oil change. At my home, a couple hours later, David calls me to tell me the results of the diagnostic. I agree to getting the work done, and I ask him to send an updated repair order, via email. The total cost of the work came to $1400+, which I was willing to pay, as long as the repair order matched. He states again, they never do that, but he sends it anyway. Before sending the repair order, he says that I can get some work done now, and some done later. I asked, Why would I do that? His response was, so that I can afford it.... For the exact reason I requested a repair order, I see a charge on there that I don’t agree with. I was being charged for the diagnostic, even though I was getting the work done. I ask David about it, via phone. David says it took the technician the full time allowed to complete the diagnostic, and he could not remove the diagnostic fee. I requested to speak with David’s manager, and he hung up on me, while I was talking, after saying, quickly, that the manager will call me back. David was so rude, that I decided I’d rather just pay the $130 diagnostic fee, and $55 oil change that I initially agreed to, and that’s it, because they did not earn my business. When I arrived back to the dealership, hours later, they had not even completed the oil change. When I asked David why my oil was not changed, his response essentially was, he thought I changed my mind. DO NOT get your car serviced at Nimnicht Buick GMC on Phillips Hwy, in Jacksonville, Fl. My final bill came to $188.34. This is for a “diagnostic,” and an oil change.

I took my 2013 GMC Savanah Conversion Van with 30,000 miles on it to get looked over and to get a recall repaired. They told me that they could do both on the visit so I made the appt in the beginning of January. I drove and dropped off my van and then took a Uber back home to the beach at 7 am. Got called at 3:00 pm and was told that my van was in good shape and ready to pick up. When I Ubered back the service rep came out and told me that they ran into a issue and did not have the parts to do the recall and they should be able to do it the following Monday and give me a loaner car because of the inconvenience. I never received a call back. On Feb 28th they called me stating they have the parts (over a month later) and when asked about a loaner car she said her service manager will not loan one to me for a recall. So needless to say I am now calling Key Buick GMC to do my regular maintenance and recalls. First time and last time customer of Nimicht.

I make it a habit of having my General Motors Vehicles service at General Motors dealerships. Not saying that this is something you have to do but just my own ruler something. That being said I have seen my fair share of Dylan and I must say that this dealership is by far the standard that all other dealerships sued strive to meet. The staff was all completely professional and courteous. There was someone to meet you (valet style) in the service bay to get you directed to where you needed to go.Total professionalism and a very informative service advisory team. Multi-point inspection during the oil change with the results and pricing for repairs when your advisor comes back to see you.As a person that is new to the Jacksonville area I have been looking for a new dealership for service and sales and I can say without a doubt that I have found that place.Must get my wifes Buick in and then it will be a purchase.New GM Home
