I tell you what I dont know if anyone really enjoys purchasing a new car or truck .So if you can find a dealership that your comfortable with that helps. And if you find a great salesperson then its more like a good experience. And thats what I had at Crain Ford my salesperson (Blake) listened to me and my needs not what he was trying to sell me what he wanted. Thats top notch in my book ,if your looking for a new truck or car and your thinking of buying a quality vehicle, they can meet your needs at Crain Ford

Unless you have several hours to waste getting a simple oil change and tire rotation buyer beware, I had a scheduled oil change for 11:30 at which time I dropped the truck off at 11:31 and did not receive the truck back until 3:15. I was told at the latest I would get it back was 1:30 do to lunch at 12, but there is no other cars in front of me so it should be approximately 30 minutes. In addition they told me they would wash the truck through a car wash and claimed they run it through the wash in which they never did. I don’t know many people that can spend 3 hrs and 45 minutes for a simple oil change and tire rotation.

This is the most dishonest dealership in central Arkansas! The manager (I believe his name was Keith T.) lied to us MULTIPLE times: first about running our credit nearly 10 times without our permission when we told him to send our app directly to our lender; he lied about not being able to honor a rebate on the vehicle we wanted, then after negotiating he magically applied that very rebate; then, after keeping us there with our three kids in the quiet lobby (shouldve been the hint) for hours, he just left and went home without telling us anything! Do NOT buy from this place! Go to Red River in Cabot instead!

Absolutely awful customer service. Called and asked if I could get an estimate so I wouldnt have to drive around multiple places. They said no, but to bring it in right away and they would look at it. Got there and stood around for several minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I was basically turned away because I didnt have an appointment and no one knew who told me to come in. Should have never went back, but I scheduled an appointment for 0800 the next morning. At 2:45pm the next day I called and asked for an update and was told how much it would cost to fix it. So for almost 7 hours it just sat there. I was told they were sending someone right away to get my parts and it would be done by 5pm. at 4:53pm they called and said they werent able to get the parts so I would have to wait to pick it up until the next day, but they would start on it first thing in the morning. At 10:45 am I called for another status and was told that they were about to start on it (apparently first thing in the morning means something different to them). When I was finally able to pick it up I inquired about a military discount. The lady told me they do grant them but unfortunately the approving authority was not there. So I expressed my concern about how significant the discount would be and asked if she could call someone else. She reluctantly got on the phone and told the individual that she had a military discount customer. The discount was approved over the phone (she wasnt even willing to do that unless I asked for it). Got the receipt and there was a $52 disposal fee FOR A SMALL WINDOW MOTOR! For that amount I could have thrown it away myself. I was not told of this disposal fee until after I paid. The entire experience made ME feel as if I was inconveniencing THEM! I dealt with two different receptionist, both had unpleasant attitudes. I have never paid for a service where everyone in the business made me feel as if my business was not appreciated. This was my first and last visit to this service center and I will ensure to share my experience with anyone that asks about this particular Ford dealership. They also left trash in my floor board.

I typically do not write reviews for places because I know everyone has a bad day here and there and I try to give some grace for that but we were lied to when we purchased the vehicle, after we purchased the vehicle and even after we traded the vehicle that was purchased in so if I can help save just one person from the headache of this place I will!! Service dept went down hill after bill left. Got told I would be charged a $145 dollar diagnostic fee on a Unmodified 2020 mustang gt with 3k miles on it. $145 to read a CEL code on a warrantied vehicle? When mentioned they said they could waive it depending on what is wrong with the car. There is no possible way I am giving this dealership the keys when they could simply find a way to justify a warranty denial and I would be forced to battle it out to get the car back. Fords warranty process is a joke as it is and this dealership actually wants to charge to inspect a vehicle for a warranty claim??? Trash dealer, go to red river.

Love my truck and salesman. Pasted that point the experience was robbery. They refused to fix things that broke days after being sold the truck until my warranty kicked in at 30 days. After waiting the 30 day period they have had my truck 3 separate times and fixed one minor recall with the carpet that I didn’t ask them to while ignoring the problems. I’ve had to rent a vehicle for close to two weeks because they do not provide a courtesy vehicle. It has been 4 months and every phone call has been met with an excuse or just dodged. If you buy a truck from here make sure everything is in working order because the service department is worthless and does not care about honesty or their customers

The salesperson I met with failed to inform me prior to the appointment. Not to mention he didnt remember the scheduled appointment upon introduction. (That was the first red flag) I missed a days work not to mention 5 hours of my time driving from one state to another to be slapped with a disappointment and absolutely no accommodations. I traded in my vehicle on 6/6/2019 and here I am almost two years later still dealing with Crain Ford... My traded in vehicle was not paid off until 8/2/2019 causing two late payments to appear on my credit. I was cussed out and threatened when talking with the previous finance manager who they say ended up quitting or getting fired. The next finance manager told me to make the payment on my old car myself even though they had already sold the car. The next finance manager could not help me because at least he admitted he didn’t know what was going on and referred me to corporate.I did not end up receiving the necessary paperwork to register my new car until a YEAR AND HALF later only after making a BBB complaint. They stated that this was because me being military I chose to register my old car in my home state and they did not believe I paid sales tax on it even though I showed documents and receipts that sales tax were indeed paid.I am not the only one this has happened to when trading in a vehicle with Crain. This has also happened to another military associate of mine. I have been warned by many locals to never do business with Crain and I am making sure all military personnel beware of them.

I bought a 2019 Ford Fusion 6 months ago. I also purchased the platinum extended warranty. I noticed water dripping from the inside about a week ago. The water was coming from the top of the ceiling around the area where my interior light buttons and a speaker is located. The water was dripping in my console cup holder. I took my car by Crains service department and asked them to look at it. They told me they would have to do a diagnostic test and it would cost $135. I asked them if it was not covered under the extended warranty that I purchased. The guy asked someone else and then returned to ask me if I was parking my car under trees. They told me that my sunroof was clogged up without even checking and then told me it would cost $50 if that is what is is, or I would have to make an appointment and bring my car back or wait an hour or two to have a diagnostic test. They acted as if they did not want to service my car, so I told the guy I would just go to a Ford dealership close to where I live, which is two hours away. I will never buy from Crain Ford again and I will never recommend them to anyone.

Just got the car back and it looks good, car was cleaned and everythings back to normal with seemingly no cut corners. I was charged $1000ish, but it took a few days longer than I expected (a full week from drop off). I had to call to get a status update (coincidentally it had just finished). Tempering my expectations kept me happy enough. All-in-all, Im satisfied and will use them for complicated maintenance in the future.

I am a very loyal customer. But first impressions are very important . Before I bought my used car there were 2 issues i wanted taken care of. Driver seat would not move forward, seals around fender wheels were loose. I was assured they would be taken care of. And the car would be delivered to me afterwards. So the purchase went forward. The car was delivered to me without either of those items fixed. I was again assured they would be taken care of the following week by them coming to pick up the car fixing the problems. NOPE. THOSE ISSUES COST ME 2000.00. THE FIX WAS IN. IT WAS ME THAT GOT SCAMMED. I shouldve known better. Their ratings are not good. That means something.EDIT......The salesperson who sold me the car, who was new, did call and apologized. I dont believe he knew about the seat. He seemed sincere. August 15th purchased a 2016 Ford Escape eco-boost. We were told it underwent a multi-point inspection. Im not sure what they inspected, but, the spare tire was flat as a pancake, the oil looked like tar, the cabin and air intake filters were black and looked like air flow would be impossible through them. In my experience, these are routinely taken care of as part of preparing a used unit for sale. I worked for a car dealer in a former job and would have been fired for calling a car with these issues ready for sale. Of course we purchased it As is no warranty. We were offered an add on warranty for $1700.00 and declined. Since purchasing it, weve had to replace all three motor mounts, the CV axles, and all of the lug nuts due to a known issue with the casing that goes over the lug nut to give the impression of chrome lug nuts. The casing swells causing a serious problem that renders the included wrench useless if you have a flat, leaving you stranded with no way to remove the flat and install the spare. It only had one key, the sales representative told me you can just make a spare like I did with my Chevy truck. Wrong. In order to make a key by letting the car program it, you need 2 working keys on a Ford. I got a locksmith to make me one for $90.00, a bargain considering Ace Hardware charges $169.00, and to have a Ford dealer make one, according to Google can cost $250.00 or more. Another expense on a vehicle that was meticulously inspected before being presented to us. Granted, technically, the dealer probably doesnt have to perform routine maintenance on a car before selling it, and I did buy it As is no warranty. It has been an extremely disappointing experience. I will never buy a car from Crain again, and will never buy another Ford. Finally, when my wife asked for a better price, they said internet cars are priced so close that they just cant come down much on the price. Weirdly enough the price of another internet car we looked at was reduced by $700.00 the next day, so Im inclined to believe their statement about coming down on price may have fudged the truth just a little. So why didnt we just walk away and look elsewhere? Danged if I know, we wish we would have.

This place should be investigated and or shut down until they clean house or train their staff to practice good service. I made an online inquiry about a vehicle. Soon I received a call to visit the dealership for a test drive. We set the date and time but when I showed up at noon as agreed upon, no one greeted me. At least two persons on the staff walked by but didnt acknowledge me. Twenty minutes later, I left. Michael then called me. I told him I had gone. He begged me to come back in the same day, I said no. We agreed upon a different date. In the meantime he asked to get numbers to get an estimate of where I would be for financing. When I asked not to do a hard credit pull, Michael assured me four times that this is for a pencil, that the hard pull would be done upon making a purchasing decision. When I went to fill out the form online, it looked like an official credit application and I told Michael. He lied to me for what I soon learned was five times. Two minutes after clicking submit, an email notification came to my phone to inform me that CRAIN LIARS FORD OF JACKSONVILLE had performed a hard credit check which would remain on my credit for two years. At this point I decided not to waste my time with a company that is represented by liars. My money is hard earned and if you dont have integrity, I will take my business elsewhere. Hopefully this dealer will be looked into for its less than customer oriented practices. Until then, they will lose business to more trustworthy, reputable dealers and salespeople who keep their word and earn their customers business. In the meantime, stay away from this dealer.

My wife just bought a 2016 car from the preowned lot this week. The salesman Rob was very friendly and if this review was just on him then you would see a five star rating. During the last part where you speak to the finance department, we were told Crain extends the warranty of the cars to 100,000 miles powertrain only. Great right, then he says its only to fix the stuff that the factory recalls...that is what they are supposed to do anyways right? So either the extra warranty is a sham or they really are going to charge the customer for a recall repair if you bring in your vehicle at 110,000 miles? Then here is the bigger complaint, Crain boasts that preowned cars they sell go through a 173 point inspection to know that the car is good. You can download the inspection pdf online to see all the things they check. You may have some faith that this means the car is good right? Well the next day my wife is stranded on the side of the road with a bad battery. The battery went through the inspection and passed, but when you ask the dealership well a dead battery the day after you bought it is normal wear and tear. What good is that 173 inspection, or any proof it was actually done correctly at all?

When I called to make sure my car was going to be ready at 2pm, they said it would be $675 to fix the hood latch. I told them that I was not the one who broke it, they said they couldn’t fix it without a new part. Honestly customer service is really bad here. I could have gone somewhere else instead of waiting for a call from them.My advice is don’t buy a ford and please don’t bring it to Crain if you do. All their estimates are always in the $500 to $600 range, I guess they are trying real hard to hit their targets for the day. For example, Ford Motorcraft spark plugs are $30 for 4 at autozone. At Crain they charge $385 including labor. Take your money to independent shops instead of here.Update: The manager called me and will refund $159 back to my account. He apologized for the mistake and said that it was a new guy that charged me.Went to get brake pads installed and they charged $585. Brakes were still bad. Then took it bad told me to pay another $585 to put new rotors. Told them I can’t do it today. Charged me $159 as diagnostic fee. Even though I was at Ford couple of weeks ago for a break job. Found four rotors and four ceramic break pads online for $120. Found a mechanic in Jacksonville to install it for $100

However, the popping noise persisted. While we were frustrated that we were charged and our problem had not been solved, the dealership took full responsibility. They generously gave us a loaner for a week while they rediagnosed the complex problem, and charged us no further parts or labor costs for the repair that did fix the problem. We feel they put in the extra effort when things did not go as planned to ensure we were taken care of and satisfied as customers. Yeah right, we did the math and the monthly payment was right but the interest wouldve been 20%.Go to McClarty if you want honest help! They did us right when we bought our last vehicle.

As usual, the Service Dept. at Crain Ford in Jacksonville made the experience of taking our Mountaineer in for maintenance, easy and stress free! Each time I have used the Service Dept at Crain, I have been treated with respect and have always been pleased with the service itself. All the kindness in the world would be tossed aside if poor service was received. Fortunately, everyone I came into contact with was warm and friendly and efficient in their jobs...And my vehicle received excellent service and attention to detail right down to the carwash was evident. I recommend Crain Ford in Jacksonville to anyone who will listen!

Recently bought a vehicle from Crain Ford. They were told to only run my credit through one institution and I gave them the name specifically, yet I have 5 hard hits on my credit report that showed they shopped around the loan to multiple institutions. My loan is through the institution that I specified. Amazing how that works. They could have had a happy customer if they actually listened to what the customer wanted.

In April I purchased a vehicle from Crain Ford in Jacksonville. I was told two days later that I needed to return the vehicle because my boyfriend works there and I was not eligible to purchase a vehicle at the internet price. I asked for proof of the policy but was never given proof. I want to purchase the vehicle That I thought I bought. I sign paperwork, took delivery, and I drove off the lot. There should be no legal reason why I had to give the vehicle back. I have since contacted the AG and the one and only response they had was they exercised the right to sell or not sell a vehicle I do not understand that response, I BOUGHT the vehicle. Before I purchased the vehicle the trade was appraised by General Sales Manager Keith Ingram and the final numbers were approved by General Sales Manager Josh Meadows. On more than one occasion Mr Meadows stated that there was no issue with the transaction. It is clear that I have been singled out in a form of undue prejudice. I purchased the vehicle for the price that was listed on the website. I was told that after the transaction was complete that the CFO Chris Bird required that I pay more for the vehicle. Does the CFO review every transaction placed at every dealership or did he specifically single me out? Can the dealership provide any previous instance where a customer purchased a car and the CFO demanded that the car be returned? This clearly violates truth in advertising.

J. Zigler and I purchased a Ford Escape from this location. Our salesman, Alex, was great. However, everything after that was unprofessional. We were told to test drive another Ford Escape that was the same model since it had recently been test driven. We were told the only difference was the vehicle we were buying was newer, less miles, and had a warranty. After being there for hours, we were told the vehicle was being fully gassed, looked over, and detailed while we waited. When we went into the finance office, we had to redo the paperwork because we had to point out that the paperwork did not reflect that our sales tax was included in the purchase paperwork. Afterwards, we went to get in the vehicle to drive away and found lawn chairs and blankets in the back of the SUV. The salesman laughed it off and asked us if we wanted to keep it. By this time it was dark and we left to go home as the dealership was near closing. The next morning we found stain splatter that looked like some type of red punch all over the top of the car near the trunk. When we attempted to put sunglasses in the holder at the front of the vehicle, alcohol cozies fell out. We also then realized the vehicle needed an oil change already! Obviously someone had been doing a bit of joyriding and partying in the vehicle while it was at the dealership. We took it in to get an oil change which they obliged to do for free (since it should have been done anyways). We also let them know there was a slow leak in one of the tires that existed when we received the car. They said they found no punctures or leaks and aired the tire back up. Three days later, the notification light on the dash came back on. Also, there was now a black smear where the handles at the top of the door are. It looked like a mechanic with dirty hands had placed his hand there and didnt think to look at the damage. Next, we did not receive our certified paperwork in the mail. When I called the dealership, they assured that it had been sent but said it oddly did not have a tracking number. Later, we received it in the mail without being mailed certified and having a postage date of after the call was made. By this time, it was after the month mark for registration of the vehicle. On top of that, when we did go to register the vehicle, we found out the finance department had shorted the check for the sales tax by several hundred dollars. I have attempted to get a callback from them several times for these complaints. I was assured by (I believe Steven) the manager of used call sales that another manager would call me. No call was ever made. He even admitted this made their company look horrible. I guess not bad enough to make it right. Now, we are stuck with the bill for a detail and new tire, along with paying for the finance departments mistake.

Seriously concerned and disappointed with the Service Department. First Oil Change for my new F-150, they forgot to torque the lug nuts and damaged my rims while performing the rotation. I was missing 3 lug nuts a couple of days later. They fixed all of the issues from that visit. Just did my second Oil Change, and even asked the Service Advisor before leaving if they torqued my lug nuts, which he told me they did. I was filling the gas in my Truck a couple of days later, and thought that I would just walk around and check the lug nuts, to discover that I could remove one with my fingers. I also noticed new damage on two of my rims. You are trusting these people to perform the job they are being paid for and to do it safely!!! They dont seem to care or get that you are trusting them with your Safety and Life!!! I will never use their Service Department again and will go back to McClarty Ford for my Service needs.

Horrible service! Neither of the sales people introduced themself or else I would post, the one that stuck with us was short dark skinned guy with beard. He acted as though we were bothering him when we showed up. I felt as though there was an underlying prejudice. The new car had a dead battery and they could not find correct key fob. The car was missing center caps on rims. He innstantly got indignant because I couldnt understand why my contact information was needed to negotiate a price for the Ford Fusion couldnt answer questions about rebates offered. They claimed the were eager to move the car but when quoted he was only willing to give me the sticker which was $10,000 over the quote I received from another dealer as we are shopping for the best deal. Apparently Crain has this kind of reputation after speaking with some friends, I would not have wasted anyones time if I would have known.

Have yet been asked how they could fix my customer satisfaction as I am very disappointed in the customer service I have received. I had to personally do ALL of the work in finding my vehicle ... I found an issue on the lot with the first one I found they didnt want to fix it . Instead the wanted to replace it with a cheaper replacement. I agreed to another vehicle and got It sent to Jacksonville to deal with them because i heard good things about them. Very dissatisfied to say the least

Worst car buying experience I have had in 45 years of buying cars. Crain Ford of Jacksonville had a 2017 Ford F150 for sale that they had moved from their new car lot to their used car lot. The ad said the car had only a few hundred miles on it. My son called, agreed to the price and flew from Colorado to Little Rock to get the car. Once there, he found out the car had 3,400+ miles on it but he purchased it anyway. Before he drove away, they were looking for the second set of keys, but the salesman David Bean couldnt find them and told him they would mail them to him. This was four and a half months ago. I have repeatedly called and spoke with the salesman, who no longer works there, then the sales manager Brandon Valencia who told me the keys were getting cut and the fob was being programmed and then mailed to me. A few weeks later I called and once again got the run around and no results, just false promises. Then Brandon told me that he no longer works there, although he is still on the web site. Im told to talk with Jonathan Walker, another sales manager that assures me he will take care of it. He says that its all set and theyll cut the keys here at our local Ford dealership; he just needed to work out the payment to them. After several days I call and leave him several messages with no return phone calls. Once again, the Crain Ford runaround. I then speak with yet another manager, whose name I did not get and he also assures me it will be taken care of, but of course nothing happens. Its hard to believe that after paying $30,000 for the vehicle that these guys will do everything they can to avoid paying a few dollars to provide the second set of keys that should come with the truck. Again, the truck was on their new car lot and moved to the used car lot, so they should have all of the goodies that would have come with the truck. The lack of service and follow up is the worst I have ever experienced. There are plenty of good, honest Ford dealers out there that one could buy from, so if youre looking for a vehicle, I would encourage you to look somewhere other than Crain Ford of Jacksonville.

This is Scott, I am commenting on your response. We have not talked to anyone like you said we have in your response. None of our phone calls are returned. I just want to know what happened. Salesmen like the one we had is why people hate going to car dealerships. He lied to get me in your building. Your answer is there was a misunderstanding. No there was not. How did my monthly payment go up $200 in two days. All I ask is for someone to call me and tell what happened. Your losing a sale and any other future business from me and I will tell anyone I know not to do business with Crain. This is proof to me that yall tried to play me and get me into a very overpriced vehicle after being lied to since nobody will call me and tell me what happened.

I recently took my car to Crain Ford to have them fix a transmission leak. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant, and Im completely satisfied with the work done. It did take very long to get my car back...10 days! But Tim, the gentleman I dealt with, explained that they had a huge backlog of transmissions to work on. I didnt really mind the wait, because they gave me a very nice, comfortable loaner to drive while my car was in for repairs, so I didnt suffer any inconvenience.

We purchased two vehicles on the same day, a 2013 Ford Focus and a 2013 Ford F150 STX. We had picked out the vehicles days prior to driving the hour and a half to the dealership. When we arrived the vehicles were not at the dealership but we were told they would be there within the hour. It took over 5 hours for the truck to arrive and we never did get the car we had picked out, instead we agreed on a car they had on the lot. Of course they tried to charge an extra $400 because it was red and not silver. I said they could go get the silver car and suddenly the price was the same. We made a deal that included window tinting and splash guards for both vehicles. It has been 3 months and we are still getting the run around over the splash guards! They didnt order them, then they did, then we took both vehicles back to get them installed. We ended up with the back only on the F150 and the back only on the Focus..In the wrong color. We have spoken with the sales person, Eddy Hill, the service manager and someone named Eric. All have promised to call us back and to fix the issue. No one calls back, no one fixes the issue. The splash guards are 49.99 a set online. Seems like a small price for customer satisfaction. Guess I am mistaken.

Sold a vehicle telling me ssying it was tow ready. Went to have the tow package installed. The SUV is not tow ready. It does not even have the wiring harness that comes factory for that year on tow ready SUVs that year model. So now Im stuck paying even more money. Lie number 1.. oh wait it gets better.. Had taxes financed in. I am military and they asked me to use my Alabama address instead of my Arkansas home of record address for my taxes. Then when I got back to Alabama and went to pay the taxes, come to find out crain didnt even use MY ADDRESS when they figured my taxes. they used some other county in Alabama to get a lowere rate. So when I went to pay with the check they sent ( which also took a month to get when they told me 10 days) it was $356 short. This place will do anything for a sale. The fact that there service department couldnt even explain why the harness for the tow package wasnt there is nonsense. Next stop for me is the better business bureau.

Now my husbands front strut is leaking oil its only got 11,000 miles on it cause he doesnt use it much and takes excellent care of it. I called made an appointment to have the strut looked at . Took them THREE HOURS just to come back and tell me they didnt have it in stock. I asked if they could get Ford to pay for the strut and I would pay the labor cause with that low mileage the strut shouldnt be leaking. The guy was going to see what he could do to help me. He said he would make a phone call to Ford and was going to get back with me. Every time I called they were going to get with the service guy and talk to them and call me back. Well Ive always had to call them back. YESI UNDERSTAND they are busy. My husband and I we own a farm equipment business we understand you get busy. BUT WE ALWAYS MAKE A POINT TO CALL OUR CUSTOMERS BACK EVEN IF ITS AT 8 OCLOCK AT NIGHT WELL NEEDLESS TO SAY ITS GOING ON A MONTH AND STILL NOBODY HAS CALLED ME BACK .
