I love the management of this Goodyear Tire center. A warm place that opened their doors for me before their regular start time of 7:30am. I realized that I had a flat tire this morning when I dropped my son off for school. I pumped my tire and returned to the bright lights of a early riser Goodyear tire shop. They blessed me this morning with a new tire and everything that goes with it mounting…Plus a warm Godly smile from a couple that came inside. I never knew until the gentleman spoke to me with a greeting that only a child of God would say, He said God is good and he’s coming back soon. This store is so clean and inviting. They serve coffee while you are waiting. You can watch TV or listen to music. The seats are clean ( no spots, dirt or scratches). Air conditioning and they all are just so helpful. God bless you Arlington Tire & Service. 💯

I would advise you to have somebody else or some other place look at your vehicle and analyze the issue because if you wish to bring it here theyll overprice on fixing something that wouldnt solve the exact problem just so you can come back and spend more money. They exaggerate expectations they dont intend to keep, and they inconvenience your time trust me Im speaking from experience. This place should be considered if all else fails then bring it here because theyll scam you out of your money and time.

They are cornhole’ing a friend of mine right now1800 for a light with the module included3 months later light goes outTakes it back.. Now oh my, the module is bad we didn’t check that. UPDATE (original post, editied, below): David, the owner, reached out to me after leaving this review. Before I left this review, Patrick called me to thank me for using their services and this is when I first complained about the situation, but I was not given a good explanation or offered a solution until after the review was left. David explained to me that there was a miscommunication about what was wrong with my brakes. It was a completely different situation than what I was originally told. David took the time to apologize without giving excuses, explain the true situation, and offered to fix the issue free of charge (plus my brake inspection refund) today. I appreciated this a lot and agreed to give them this second chance. I have my car back and the brakes are working great. I will add though, that Patrick sounded less than enthusiastic to speak with me to tell me my car was ready, his demeanor was much less friendly. There was also a small hiccup where I wanted my old parts back and we were told that they would need to keep them and send them back for warranty (?), but we refused because they were not purchased through this shop and they are not old parts. We ended up getting them back after explaining this. Overall, I am grateful to David for fixing the issue and making up for the shops original shortcoming. I hope next time, if I come into the shop, that we wont have to go through this again, for both parties sake.---------------------------------------------------------------------I came here to get my transmission fluid changed and my brakes checked out. I got the brakes completely changed two years ago but lately have been hearing some noises from them, so I wanted to be examined. I left it there overnight and was told the shop would call me when it was ready. After about an hour of my car being there, I got a call from the shop manager that my transmission had a laundry list of issues (which it probably does but I’m getting it done elsewhere) and that my brakes were completely worn… They said it would cost almost $1200 all together to fix these problems, but my dad said that was ridiculous and we would check somewhere else. By mid-morning I had heard nothing back about picking my car up, so I called myself. They told me my car was done and waiting for me but they never bothered to call me and tell me that. After I picked my car up, I went to a brake specialist and they inspected my brakes and told me nothing is wrong with them, in fact they’re well within range!

Patrick was very professional and thorough in explaining needed repairs and preventative maintenance. Had a very educational experience.

I was at a car wash and my battery just died on me. A nice staff member gave me a jump and informed me to go straight to a mechanic. I did a Google search for the nearest mechanic and I found Good Year who happen to be only 4 minutes away from me. When I arrived, I spoke to Patrick about what happened and he thoroughly explained their process to me. He educated me on so many things about my car that I had no idea about. He was the only mechanic that ever took the time to explain all this to me. He even had one of his guys drive me home AND pick me up when my car was ready. They did an EXCELLENT job with my car and they completed it in less time than I expected. They turned this seemingly nightmare into a simple inconvenience. They provided beyond excellent customer service and did a superb job on my car and in educating me. I found my new mechanic. I will only go to them for my cars needs. Thank you guys so much! I came in with a few different used cars for them to check, since I dont know much about cars. Patrick and his team were great! Sad that there are bad sales people out there who will rip you off. But the guys found the rust, bad tires etc and let me know what they found in writing. I bought the car they said was running well (2018 Corolla) AND THEY WERE RIGHT! I would recommend them for any work you need done, and will head back there if I ever need to.

I went into the shop to get a value cover gasket done left the shop a week later I had an huge oil leak the tech put putty on the gasket all around the edges in which didnt hold. A big mistake Please people dont take your car to this location bad job I had to pay double for piss poor work.I have pic to prove the mistakes.$ 400 job gone bad.😠😠😠😠

Took my f350 truck there to get a break line that was leaking replace themechanic notice my valve cover was leaking so I said go head and change them out but when I got my truck back it was running rough took it back five min later and was basically turn away instead of trying to make it right I found out that if you dont make sure the wires clamp on tight it will make your engine run rough and loss of power that is my problem so now I have to find another shop to fix my truck lesson learned is take your diesel to diesel mechanicI stand corrected on the work that was performed on my F350. One of the managers contacted me and wanted to make things right. It is refreshing to know that there are shops like this one that prides themselves on satisfying their customers. For this reason they have gained me as a repeat customer.

Two weeks ago I went to have my oil changed, and I was told that my steering rack needed to be replaced, and it caused damage to my front tires. I was told about the rack issue at my last oil change but I didnt get it repaired. It was not explained to me that not getting it repaired would cause problems with my tires, and thats what happened. Now I have twice the expense. The service manager understood my concern and he immediately resolved my issue by reducing charges. I checked with other service stations and his discount was great!! I want to thank Will the service manager for caring about the customer and delivering fantastic service!!! Its hard to fine good customer service but Arlington Tire & Service Center is ahead of the pack!! Because of Will I remain a customer, and will refer others! Great job!

I had to go in because my battery died. I got an estimate within the hour and my car was fixed the same day. I was worried because I had work the next day but they did a great job and now my car runs great! also Patrick called me to check in and see how my car is doing. Great car and customer service!

I took my Dodge Dakota there as I was having issues with it. They replaced my engine block and corresponding parts. When I got my truck back it wasnt idling properly and told them as such. They made several excuses why that was, but never offered to correct it. After leaving the premises it stalled and wouldnt re start. I tried to call them but they were closed so I tried to pop the hood and found it wouldnt work because they didnt connect the cable. I had to call a tow truck to have it towed after putting over $1000 in it I had to take it somewhere else and put over $400. more in it, to fix it properly.

In looking for a repair shop I know prices are competitive. What I most look for is honesty. I found them to be honest and also very friendly. They diagnosed the problem and fixed in a reasonable time frame. Thank you for your service.

****** COLLEGE STUDENTS BEWARE********This was the worst auto shop I have ever experienced. I have a background working in auto shops for 7 years back home but being a college student out of state just trying to get simple car service shouldnt be this difficult. From the time I walked in, I was talked down to as if I didnt know a thing about my car and on top of that they tried adding on a bunch of other necessary services for my car. All the extra things I apparently needed to get done was just serviced no more than 4 months ago. When I did not want to get the services done they recommended me they no longer wanted to help me and Patrick told his workers to no longer touch my car to pull it out for the tow truck to load it up, even though it is their responsibility to have the car out and in a position for the driver. This Goodyear just tries to take advantage of their customers, especially the ones that are out of state here for college. I wish there was something less than 1 star.

I have a 2007 Audi A4 Quattro. My car wasn’t running at all, couldn’t even turn the car on, so I was looking for a shop who could understand my situation and offer me the best prices to fix my car. They have done an awesome job and fixed my alternator. My car is running like a brand new now! Thanks for y’all services! Will definitely recommend this shop!

My mother spent a small fortune less than a month ago on her brakes. No big deal, but she kept hearing a noise immediately after she left this location and figured it was something that occurred after new brakes were installed. The noise kept getting louder, so she returned today and they told her it was her wheel bearings. Now, Im no mechanic (my husband is) but this is a component that is thoroughly checked when brakes are completed. She was in this store having her brakes replaced LESS THAN 30 DAYS AGO. How wheel bearings can just go out like that in 30 days is BEYOND me. The less than impressive manager (Patrick Child) told her that they didnt hear it or see a problem with it then. Then they quoted her $500+ dollars plus the $52 diagnosis fee. Obviously she had to pay them the diag fee, which should have been comped for their lack of attention to detail when they did the brakes less than a month ago, but I digress.I would NOT give my business to this independent location. Youre better off going to a corporate location if you MUST deal with Goodyear.

0 stars! I will never come here again. I brought my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee here and paid $102 for a full diagnostic for what I was pretty certain was a brake problem. They told me that I needed my ENTIRE transmission replaced to be able to drive my car again. I live and work paycheck to paycheck so hearing this from them was very upsetting and distressing... They gave me quotes in between $2,000-$5,000 to get my car running. I paid for my diagnostic at Goodyear Arlington and kindly took my car to another repair shop because my insticts told me my problem was something else. Guess what? I was correct!! A different shop had found my rear break shoes had disintegrated which was the root of my problems sending error messages to my transmission. Today, my car is driving beautiful just like before and all I paid was about $700. It is scary that Arlington Tire & Service wanted me to replace my entire transmission, and it is scary that the root of my car problem was not mentioned ANYWHERE on my diagnostic report that I paid $102 for. Please be careful and always seek another opinion before these guys try to suck money out of you.

It was a doozy of a day. I woke up to all 4 tires stabbed. This place was closest to me. I called in and David quoted me a price a little more than I had. I explained my situation and he was able to apply some discounts to make it work for me. They were pretty prompt considering their work load for the day and even gave me a ride to my house to pick up more funds when my card declined. Patrick isnt quite as upbeat as David but after only a short while of being around it is very evident that his main concern is taking care of the customer. My first time here and I felt as though this were my own families business. Thanks for the compassion and professionalism. You guys rock!

Can I leave NEGATIVE stars??? I called and set up an oil change for two vehicles. I was given a price. When I arrived I was greeted by the man who gave me the price. He disappeared. On the phone I was told an oil change on the two cars would take 20-25 minutes. An hour and 25 minutes one was done!!! I sent my son and his car to Jiffy Lube. He beat me home! The cashier came over to me half way through and said I had a “costly emergency!” My radiator was leaking and transmission fluid was present. Yep! Really? Emergency? I will put a new radiator in tonight and replace all the fluids except oil when I get home from work.Costly? Nope! How about my oil change????? Now that was a joke! Got in my car and the door handles outside and interior are COVERED in grease!!! Worst oil change ever!!!! My dog would have done better and he doesn’t have opposable thumbs and would have pooped on the seat!

I can not thank the guys at Goodyear enough. My car threw a check engine light in the morning on the way to work then started to sputter and stalled out a couple of times. I spoke to William on my lunch break and he was able to squeeze me in and get my vehicle fixed that day because it is my only car to drive to work. David, the owner, was kind enough to give me a ride home and picked me up once the repairs were done. I will certainly take my car back for all my maintenance and repairs in the future!!

I always felt like I might be getting ripped off (I am a typical girl that does not know anything about cars). Finally, I went to a car shop close to the house for a free inspection. I was told that I have a good car, but I need to change brake fluid. Surprisingly, I just changed brake fluid a week ago in Goodyear. So, I went back and asked for my money back. I had to wait for an hour for a manager. I got my money back and changed brake fluid in my new shop for $50 (I paid $90) at Goodyear. I will never go back! Moreover, one of the managers got nasty when I was leaving and told this: I dont know how can we help you if you cannot help yourself!... I am sure now that probably at least half of the repair that I paid for last three years were no necessary, and I am not even sure if they were done ... properly...

PLEASE READ!!! I was looking for a trust worthy shop of mechanics to perform maintenance and repairs to my 4 vehicles. I took my car with a mailer for a free brake inspection and was told with seriousness that I was in danger if I didnt replace all 4 rotors and pads because they were worn for around $750. I had second shop look at the same things and was told the rotors were good and only needed to replace the pads. I purchased new rotors measured with a micrometer and the old ones, they were the same!! Shame to criminals!!
