Recommended this business to my niece. I know that she will be in good hands. Used this company for our house for the last 35years. Most people dont want to talk about the septic system. But pumping them out and finding how big the tank is important. It is better to do preventive service. Since we have moved out of State we cant use them. Im glad that we can pass it on to the next generation..

Our leach (drain) field failed right at the onset of the Covid-19 Crisis. I contacted Duane Shelar at Shelar Sanitation, whom was extremely responsive and came to my property to evaluate the situation the same day. I had already cut into my lead-pipe and determined the field had been compromised. There was excessive Bio Material in the head-pipe and all laterals. (Older single compartment 1000 gallon tank that previous owner, and myself didnt pump frequently enough). Duane quoted a new 1000 Sq Ft field, and initiated required perk and installation permits with the county. Within a couple days he was back by my property to keep me advised of progress and survey a possible site location, at which time I asked him to add an additional 1000 gallon tank and filter downstream of my main tank to reduce the chances of fouling the proposed new field. He contacted me within a week to schedule perk and his team began work within 5 days. Their top-notch excavating team led by Brandon and assisted by Scott arrived the following Monday and did an exceptional job of coordinating and keeping me informed as the job progressed. The job was completed and approved by the county by Tuesday afternoon. A finial half day on Wednesday for site surface finishing. I dont often write reviews. But in this case, I cant speak highly enough about the quality and timeliness of this entire project. I will definitely use Shelar again to install a dry-well system to take some of the load (cloths washer, RO system, and water softener brine/back-flush off my new field.

Did not send information needed back to salvation army so I couldnt get my septic tank pumped out. Said could not find record of the septic tank top they put in in 1964?

We had sewage spilling out of our pipes and had to find someone to drain our septic tank fast. Mr. Shelar answered our call so fast and came out the same day and didnt leave until the job was done and it was a big job! We cannot be happier we choose him online for services and he did such a great job helping us fix our problem the same day.

We have been using Shelar exclusively for the last three years to maintain all 51 are septic tanks. Theyre knowledgeable, that work offers excellent value for money, they are prompt in attending to service emergencies. In fact their customer service is absolutely stellar. I couldnt imagine using anyone else at this point. It is not possible for me to speak highly enough of their work.

I will be recommending this company to everyone I know. They were friendly and fast. They taught me about my septic system while it was being pumped. They charged me exactly what they quoted and the whole process from start to finish was very easy. He even talked with my 5 year old son, who was fascinated by his cool truck.

Perhaps it because we power blend the contents of a septic tank to ensure the best clean out and do not charge extra for that service. We even answer our phones after business hours to address emergency needs. But we do ask that the customer learn as much as they can about their system prior to booking a service call to ensure that conflicts over the size of tank, or the location of the septic lid are minimized. We give explain to customers that they can avoid digging fees if they dig the dirt off the lid and even explain that the county health department often has a map of your system to help locate your tank. We send reminder cards to customers to make sure they pump their tanks in a timely manner. We troubleshoot and build new drain field systems as a licensed bonded and insured septic construction company. We offer affordable risers and lids and do everything possible to offer the public a great service at an affordable price. First time Ive needed septic services I chose them because they were prompt to answer the phone and the gentlemen that answered seemed very confident in his abilities and his company. Highly recomend them very knowledgeable and punctual.

I have had them pump out my tank twice in the last 10 years. Both times they did a good job, they cleaned up what needed to be done. I would recommend them.

Came out and obviously did not clean out tank completely (this cost $425). We called and someone came back out the same day and cleaned the rest out, then charged us another $200. Was never given a quote. Definitely wont be going with them again. Would give zero stars if that were an option.

The driver was rude and acted like a big baby. It was obvious he didnt want to be there and every complication that came along just made it worse. I called and left a message for the owner, but he never called back. Much better choices to choose from in Jackson area than this company.

I had them pump my septic tank. He did a great job. Friendly to deal with. I will have this company do it the next time.

Only pumped 1/2 my tank charged full price. Going to charge full price again 1 month later for other 1/2. Told us too bad this is a learning curve. Left his equipment on site. Sloppy and Poor service. Will not recommend this company to anyone.
