No one ever answers the phone and when you leave a message they dont respond. When you do work for someone and you give them 30 days to pay and you dont get paid until 2 weeks or 3 months after the 30 days what is a person supposed to think. And when you talk to one of the office workers you get the run around. This is not how a professional business is supposed to operate.

I wish I could them 0 stars cause thats what they deserve!!! Please prefer staying on the street than living at Castlegate Apartments, Jackson, MS!!My roommate and the leasing office people just decided to move forward with my deposit on the new lease and now Castlegate people arent receiving my calls nor are they giving me my deposit.I have tried calling BB Management group but no one picks up!I have tried emailing them no one replies!!No where on the lease does it say security deposit will just be randomly transferred to the new tenantsThings were a lot better under Bridget but this new management is definitely not recommended!!

After several attempts of contacting the management staff at my complex in regards to clarity on the COVID-19 regulations, the staff seems to be very nonchalant and just flat out do not seem to care about their residents. I am attempting to pay my balance but I am constantly being hit with roadblocks and hurdles.I have asked to speak with the corporate office. It has been days and there is still no update. I was told by the staff to speak to an attorney. Very unprofessional.

My garbage disposal does not work. As a result, I cannot use my dishwasher and it clogs my sink. Not to mention, there is an electrical issue going on that has not been solved. The light in my kitchen leaks and sometimes does not work. I called to report it months ago and the lady said it might be “due to the rain.” That would be a legit reason if I didn’t live on the bottom floor. Received an eviction notice and at this point, I’m just happy to be gone.Hopefully, whoever managing can read this update. I put in my request on April 16th and ANOTHER request in the beginning of May. I have a paper trail since this was an online request. As a resident of Park Place, I have an online account that allows me to see the submission and who was assigned to the request. My issues were closed twice but NEVER fixed. This occurred before the eviction. However after my review, was left and seen it was THEN that my garbage disposal was fixed and that the “supervisor” needed to contact me. She has never reached out before to try to contact me.Also my light was reported as early as the 1st of March, it is still not fixed. Hopefully this doesn’t cause further problems for the new tenants.Did I mention that I had to call Ridgeland police on some people who were on MY patio? This was the second of this issue which caused me to get the police involved because it has happened on more than one occasion. On the first occasion, I caught a young man smoking on my neighbor’s patio. He did not belong there. That is a huge concern because my neighbor is elderly and on a walker. I have lived here since 2017. I have that lease agreement in my email from the sweet lady that used to work at the front desk. Since she’s been gone, the dynamic has changed. There are so many people hanging outside at night which I’m sure led to the car break-ins. Hopefully, everything gets under control soon. Thank you for your response. Terrible management. Absolute garbage. I rented for one full year and had a major leak that was not address for over 24 hours. Other issues with the property would happen on a regular basis. I would not recommend anyone I know to live in their properties. Please do yourself a favor and rent from another company. I would give less than one star.

Yesss I will never rent with you all again the manager of SYKES APARTMENTS IS SO RUDE TERRIA MCGEE SHE TALK TO THE RESIDENTS ANY KIND OF WAY MY MOM IS SICK SHE TALK TO HER ANY KIND OF WAY THEN ON TOP OF THAT WHEN WE FIRST MOVED IN OUR APARTMENT THE LIGHTS WAS MESSED UP SHE SAID SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THE BOX SO she kept putting a letter on our door for trying to put us out saying we behind on the rent but really she was charging us for a light bill I asked her several times to put our lights in our name she always had an excuse so when I did contact management they got the box fixed whatever was dealing with the lights so until we could get our lights switched on we was thinking she would leave the lights on until we could get our switched over she came and took our light meter saying she had to turn them off but the light people didn’t take the meter her brother took it so she left my mom in the dark n the kids food spoiled and all when she could have left our lights on until we got them switched over I called entergy and they said the lights or in the property name so why leave us in the dark when you didn’t have to she is so rude and loud won’t let you talk or nothing it’s sad to have a person like that over apartments

Care more about their management who treat Residents wrong then They do about the Residents who have been loyal. Sweep crimes under the rug(after money order was stolen by their employee we still got eviction letters), does nothing to fix it, no camera installed to protect our hard earn money, after many calls about repairs they block you after a while.(complained for 2 month of Bug Bites & nothing was done, pest control they sent out failed to inspect properly and we were bitten another month). Had to contact Karen Smith(regional manager. Oh and we were told we brought them so we needed to pay for pest control once he came after i took the bug down to the office. Um we didnt bring nothing. Us and our neighbors were bitten and i got pictures to prove it. who stated she didnt want to step on management toes, Umm its your job to if we are been bitten and she is not doing anything about it. Dont lease with their communties. Ridgeland Ranch, The Pines, Sykes Park Manor have been on the news. ParkPlace apts was good until the new uncaring manager Marilyn Mcduffie came. Things went down and services never got resolved. Then she decided she don’t want to resign your lease.FYI: we did nothing to be kicked out. Got one noise complaint which was supposed to be a warning from the courtesy officer(who magically appeared, to our knowledge we didnt have one when we tried to call months ago). stating he came out 2 times already and if we get one more complaint we will get kicked out. This was his first and only time coming over and this was our first warning. 6/5/2018. on 6/7/2018 we got the nonrenewal letter. Later found out it was Management Son. Umm Dont think he was our courtesy officer. Smells fishy to me. Dont let that response below fool you. They only care about the Money they make. Not their residents. I spent 8 months investigating that stolen money order on my own when the apts was responsible not us and this is how we get repaid and kicked out cause we got her employee fired. Seems fishy that all this happened after she got fired. then weeks leading up to the move out date June 30, 2018 we have all these problems. your Apartment Communities(thats been on the news) that you run says alot about your terrible lack of care. DO NOT MOVE IN APT 7H. AS THEY STILL HAVENT TREATED THE APT OR THE WHOLE BUILDING. Please do not update or change my review. These people deserve the truth. i will come and check and upload my original one everytime you change it. I have it copied to my notes.
