Bought a home in November 2019 with the help of Susan. She was the best we have ever had when it came to providing all the information and packets when looking at homes. We have bought 4 homes in the past and also spent the last year looking at homes in multiple states this past year so we have done this a few times. The only reason I am downgrading to 4 stars is because once we realized the house needed carpet and painting (the house was not empty when we saw it previously) she did not want to ask the seller for a paint and carpet allowance. Her response at the time was they wont give a paint allowance because that is cosmetic. She then said that we shouldnt ask for it because the sellers husband left her with nothing. I was floored when I heard that and thought Wow my realtor is working for the seller now. I can understand the compassion she was feeling but this was our hard earned money. In that moment I wanted to call the whole deal off but I knew my wife really liked the house. We then left the home and I took a little time to think. We ended up getting a partial allowance that covered 40% of the cost for carpet and painting. When all is said and done she did a great job of providing us with the information so we could make an informed decision. I am a very demanding person so the praise I give her is well deserved while the criticism may not be. This is why I still gave her 4 stars.
