I dont think any other car shop in the Cape Area and Jackson can beat the pricing of this shop; their pricing is truly competitive, and the quality of service is top notch. I bought a 2009 Hyundai Elantra and it needs new rear rotors+ break pads; I tried asking around the auto shops whether they would replace them for me at the cost of labor, and they wouldnt. Only Roys would do it, and they do it at a great price! Highly recommend for all your tire needs and other car maintenance services as well. The wait time is good and the staff is friendly as well. Highly recommended.

Cant share enough good things about this place. Friendly people. They took my car in because I was smelling gas. I mentioned I had a small dent in it and they fixed it! No charge. Didnt even charge me for the checking for a gas leak because they didnt see anything how amazing is that?:) will recommend to all my friends and family.

Roys saved me from paying for an engine replacement.I was recommended Roys by a coworker who said he was honest. Honesty is a huge factor in a mechanic shop.I was experiencing a large mechanical problem in my 2015 Hyundai Tucson caused by a faulty sensor that wouldnt turn on the oil light. Roy stated that he personally knew of 3 other people who had this issue and had a replacement engine installed by Hyundai at no cost.He was right. They will replace the engine for me. I might not have even considered taking it to the dealer based on out of warranty and the cost of dealer repairs.On top of all that, he only charged me $10 for the issue.Not only has Roys earned my respect but now he has earned my business for the foreseeable future.Good job, Roy.

Took my car there for new tires. After the tires my car had a horrible vibration after balancing. Took the car back because I am supposed to have a warranty. They simply balanced them again with no change. Took my car to a professional shop and all four tires were very off. Not only was the tires off, but two of the tires I bought have messed up belts and are expected to have bubbles soon. Roy is a great guy, but the quality of work from his employees are lacking. They should have realized the tires are bad and should know how to balance tires.

Roys quoted me over the phone two possible prices. Low and behold I was only charged the lowest price quoted. I would have to say this shows true integrity. The service was speedy. I hope I dont experience another mishap but in the case I do, Roys Tire & Auto is the business I WILL return to.

Ive been one of Roys customers (and biggest fans) ever since I moved to Jackson in 2004. Were moving out of state and hoping we will find someone even half as qualified, skilled and efficient as Roy. The business is family owned and operated. Im not sure theres anything Roy cant fix, but if he cant, he surely knows who can. His prices are very fair and the quality of his workmanship is outstanding. Its always hard to find a mechanic you can know and trust. Roy is one of those guys you find and know without a doubt you can trust. I highly recommend him! (And I rarely write reviews.)

Quick, Quality, and Friendly service at a fair price.

Just so that you are aware of my unpleasant and lacking experience with Roys Tire. I live in St.Louis but have family in the area and they recommended Roys Tire based on their experiences with him. I called Roys Tire and made my appointment on Monday 04-12-21 for Saturday 04-17-21 @ 8am. Called again Friday 04-16-21 to make sure it would be okay to drop off my vehicle the night before, after hours, because I knew I would be getting into the area late that day and so they would be able to start first thing in the morning. I was told by the receptionist that it wouldnt be a problem and that they have a key drop box for such occasions. I dropped off my vehicle with no problems Friday night and was expecting a call around 8am the following morning, my appointment time, to make sure the work order was correct and to go over any issues I was having with the vehicle. I did not receive a call around 8am so I thought to wait until 8:30am as a courtesy to them. So, I called them at 8:30am Saturday morning bc I havent heard from them, for me to finally talk to Roy and him to tell me Its unlikely that he can get to it today. and he has a backlog of vehicles going back 3 weeks. THEN WHY MAKE THE APPOINTMENT. Whats the point of making an appointment if youre then not going to honor the appointment. Just tell me that you cant or better yet a date that you can and dont waste my time. I then picked up my vehicle at 10am, that was looked at but not repaired, and charged $25 dollars for doing so. Then, I purchased the parts that were said to be needing replaced by Roy and proceeded to do the repairs myself. Just an fyi Roy if you read this, it wasnt the master cylinder it was the brake booster pushrod and I value peoples time, which is why I wont waste anymore of yours. Hope this helps in your search for a reasonable mechanic.

My alternator went out late Saturday. No way to call and set an appointment. I had to drop it off at Roys Monday morning. Since theres no appointment, he warned me that it might be the afternoon before they could look at it. Hour&1/2 later, Roy calls me to discuss what they could do and the cost. That was quick! Then it ended up costing much less than I was dreading paying! I think I found my permanent shop!

On the road from Florida to Colorado when the check engine light came on. The guy in Auto Zone recommended this shop and I was so impressed with the service. They checked the sensor and didnt find a problem. They reset the sensor, explained what the issue could be and advised me to see my dealer when I got home. They assured me that I would be fine to continue the trip. They did not charge me. I highly recommend this shop. They are friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

This shop worked and worked on my car constantly charging high prices and never fixed the problem. I took it to another shop and they fixed the problem the first time.

Great local business and excellent customer service! Always friendly and helpful. Most importantly completely honest and upfront staff. We have had two separate occasions were Roys could have easily taken our money for work that we didnt need or something that was covered under an extended warranty that we didnt know about. Roy was actually the one to let us know that we should call the dealership because what we needed fixed would be covered under a warranty. They could have easily done the work and charged us the hundreds of dollars it would have cost, and we would have been none the wiser. We will continue to use Roys for all of our car service needs!!

Suggest to call ahead if you need immediate service because sometimes they have to order parts and are pretty busy. Business is often real busy on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays so suggest calling ahead especially if in a big hurry.Overall a great place to get your vehicle serviced reliably for most general maintenance items with no big surprises.

Waited for a tire patch, for an hour and a half with 2 kids under age 5 and groceries in the back of my vehicle. The childrens waiting area is filthy. Had to bathe kids after being here. They had a black grime all over them. I had originally called to make an appointment. An appointment or time or day way declined, and I was told Id be worked in. If I had any idea it would take that long to work me in, then I wouldve gone somewhere else. Lastly I had mentioned there is something off in the front end of my vehicle. Instructions were to Please have mechanic have a look at this, and let me know what it was so I can budget having it repaired. The report back to me about the problem was as follows, The mechanic looked at it, but didnt know whether it was a strut, or something else. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!

It is pretty simply, Roy is a good honest man. I have taken my care there many times and he always treats me fairly and honestly. Best mechanic I have done business with in 40 years.

Best auto repair experience I have ever had. I requested my spark plugs to be changed and expected a $400 or more charge. Was very delighted when Roy called me and said the problem was the coil and its running perfectly with only $132 in repairs. I think many places would have changed the spark plugs then added on the coil replacement. Thank you Roy for running an honest business. I will come back time and time again.

Roy is as honest as they come in this business. He does great work and the rates are reasonable. Because of this, they are busy. Be prepared to wait maybe a bit longer than usual, but hes busy for a reason.

Roys tire shop...well what can i say,I sat and I waited for a extra hour to get tires put on,why?because they are wonderful ppl there,and are reasonable as well...i bought a set of Westlake brand tires 265/70/17-10 ply tax and Every thing out the door was 665$not a 1000.$ plus like all the other guys...i like thier staff friendly and informative,they are not afraid to strike up a conversation with u and treat u like a actual human being not just another check #..
