Today, Aug 31, 2021, I was there with appointment at 11 but they were short staff and after 1/2 hour waiting, the angry guy came and with no mercy he took my blood, he was the worst person ever took blood. It doesnt matter you are tired or not happy but you cant treat us like an animal, be human. After one hour my hand still hurts. Sept 4, Picture after 4 days.
This happened today March the 13- 2021. A middle eastern women helped me very nice an professionals and a Hispanic women did the test very nice. The Oriental and Hispanic that were helping to this clinic were the worst ones. I hope they do not bring them here because they are not a good asset for this clinic.
Staff is so slow. It took me 1.5 hour wait time to sit on chair to give blood sample. I guess they are a lot short of staff. Receptionist are very confused wrt health insurance. I generally prefer lapcorp Tustin which is way much better than this. Extremely bad experience.
Fast and easy. Friendly staff.
Very unprofessional and rude!!!! The front desk girl barely said hi to me and acted so busy and not interested with me coming in but eventually pointed me towards the check in window. After i checked in she had me sign some paperwork and didnt even mention that I am okay to seat down and wait until my name is called. After i was called in the room I noticed previous patient paperwork still in the room. Not sure if they ever heard of HIPPA???? and since there was other patient paperwork in the room it made me question if the room was even prepared for me to begin with (wiped, disinfected). So when the women that supposed to take my blood came in and I raised my concerns she acted confused and went out the room to talk to other employees about what is happening. Then when i asked if the room was even wiped she asked me to go wait in the waiting room while she wipe the room.. INFECTION CONTROL is definitely lacking in that office from what I have observed . After i went back into the waiting room I started to question myself if its a good idea for me to have my blood drawn in this facility. And instead of acting apologetic or trying to make me feel more comfortable I heard them laughing behind the close doors. Or course I had to cancel my appointment and ran out of there.
I went to the LabCorp on Barranca in Irvine, CA and was startled at the number of people packed into the waiting room, especially as this is a time when COVID is still of high risk. Chairs were set within just 2-3 feet of each other and the individuals were standing much too closely. Hand sanitizer for patient use was nowhere to be found and the containers I found in the blood collection rooms were empty. Furthermore, the staff was extremely cold when I attempted to make small conversation or ask about my procedure. I was either ignored or granted one-two word answers in response. Ultimately, my review of this clinic is the first negative review of a facility I have ever written in my life. Not only was the clinics adherence to COVID policies shockingly lacking, the staff lacked cordiality and professionalism. Such a location strongly demands review.
BAD customer service!I have a high deductible plan this year, so I wanted to pay cash at first. The reception told me I only need to pay $11 with insurance. I double confirmed the price and paid right over there. Yesterday, I received another billing, said I have outstanding. I called their customer service, their attitude is supppppper rude!!!I only wanted to tell them not to suggest customer the price if you are not sure. The representative kept saying I signed a document said its an estimated price. Then your stuff shouldnt tell me thats all I need to pay at the first place, right?I told her you should tell your employee to pay attention, she said its not her job. Excuse me??? She asked me to call this lab to complain by myself. Whats the hack???
I just spent 40 minutes driving around to different lab corps because none of your hours are correct online. They are posted on the door with handwritten notes. I tried to call and was unable to get anyone, multiple times today. I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. LabCorp sets a seriously low bar for patient experience but knows you will keep coming because it is mandated by their contracts with the health system. Disappointing.
Really fast service. I was in and out in 10 minutes and i got the result on the following day.
The only reason I am giving this facility 5 stars is because of Oliver. He drew my blood and made me feel so calm and comfortable. Others have had hard time finding my vein and drawing my blood so I get very anxious to do it because I never know what the experience will be like. Oliver got it on his first try and was fast and efficient. As for the actually facility it was fine. I went on a Saturday morning and there was a wait, but everyone is working hard and trying their best to accommodate everyone.
Fariba was awesome, professional and pleasant. She made what is usually a difficult blood draw, seem like a piece of cake. Also reception staff are kind and helpful. I recommend taking an appointment to avoid waiting.
I am a very hard stick, with only 1 place to draw from. Technicians at this location have never failed on their first attempt, and with considerably less pain than other labs. It is clean with plenty of waiting room. Yes, sometimes the counter people are less than friendly/helpful, but Im going there for testing, not socializing.
Not sure why it only got 3 stars. Easy check in process, professional workers and clean environment.
My appointment was at 8 am. I checked in at 7:30 am. I was out the door by 7:45 am. They are efficient and fast.
One of the worst clinic I’ve ever been, very busy and untidy especially as this is a time when COVID is still of high risk.
Waiting time 70 minutes to got into a room, 10 minutes more to continue waiting...finally left without being helped. Staff need to get their work done...not to fool around at the front desk.
It was not crowded, and even with a walk-in, I was in and out pretty fast. Waiting time was minimal. Everyone there was friendly and professional. Lab area & bathrooms were clean as well.
Even though I was a walk-in, I was treated with respect and courtesy. Was offered water as well. Quest should learn from these great peeps.
The woman who helped me was really nice. I wad able to get in and out quickly without an appointment. Only reason it isnt 4 starts is because the office could really use updating. It seems outdated and cluttered.
Very short wait today. Staff very nice and efficient
I walked in 7:00am and checked in 7:15am and I was out the lab at 7:25am. Employees are very professional, very organized . The waiting room and lab area very clean. This was my second visit to this site and will return for upcoming service.
Inexperienced for kids, go to quest.I repeat do not go here with your kids, ask your doc to change, pay a little more if you are not covered, go to quest.Ive always been to labcorp in NJ,.However, my doctors here have recommended quest. I never liked to go there, as its always crowded. But let me tell you, they have more experience. This morning I had been to labcorp as my sons doc sent me there. The nurse had said that they are trained to draw blood from kids.My 4 YO son wasnt aware of anything on the test, I was ready with the puzzle on my phone. Everything was going smooth, but heck there was an inexperienced guy who was assigned to draw blood, he not only poked hard he wiggled and twisted the needle after the needle was in, he couldnt find the vein. He continues to look for the vein by tilting and moving the needle, I and to tell him to stop while my son began ouch ouch. In the beginning, I had to tell him I cant do this alone, only then he called the cold face front office lady.By then my 4YO was in great pain. And this front office lady who was helping, what a robotic person, cant they talk to kids, dont they know what to say. Idiots went for the left hand and my son began to resist, I had to hold him hard, and the lady too had to hold. What a waste of my insurance money, I just let my child be a Guinea pig.Cant you talk to a child who you with your inexperience made him go through a traumatic experience.Boo to labcorp attendants here.
Unprofessional, 2nd rate operation. Not a World Class buisness at all.Waited 1-1/2 hours for a simple blood draw and still nothing. I was told to wait longer so I just left. No sense of urgency. I was told that they welcome walk-ins but fail to tell you there is a horrible wait! Poorly managed facility. When you are fasting and hungry, you dont want to hear that you need to wait longer. I am letting my Doctor and health group know this is a ridiculous operation to deal with, I want someone else to deal with going forward. Horrible Customer Service.
There are so many things wrong with this place. Sit back, this is gonna be a long one.. First off I arrived before they opened and there was 11 people in front of me, which okay, i shouldve gone sooner. After we all went in and got checked in, one nurse was helping gather peoples paper work and a guy nurse i believe his name was Alejandro, sat there and bossed her around. He was extremely rude to her, You can 100% tell he is either not a morning person or not a peoples person. I do HR at my job and his attitude towards clients and co workers would be unacceptable. He didnt smile, he didnt help get people checked in, didnt help with paperwork, he just sat there and made rude comments. The wait was extremely long, they had 1 nurse drawing blood for at least an hour. Eventually things started speeding up after another employee came in around 8am. The nurse that was drawing blood, seemed extremely confused. She was asking a lot of questions, which im not against but it made me feel scared like she didnt know what she was doing. Well once I finally got called back, she kept looking over my paper work and you could tell, she didnt know what to do. She grabbed my paperwork and left the room, came back a few minutes later and said oooohhh now i know which made me feel like ughh shouldnt you have known to begin with? Well anyways, after she got the needle in, she did not release the rubber band from my arm and was trying to make my blood come out with it still on there. She applied so much pressure that it was hurting me. Once we were done, she took the needle out and then took the rubber band off which made me bleed a lot. My arm is extremely sore. To top it all off, she barely spoke English, and that doesnt bother me but i had to say im sorry, repeat after everything she asked me and it made me feel rude and that wasnt my intention. This was definitely not the best experience, nor will I ever come back to this location. I read the reviews prior to coming and I shouldve listened, but instead I was trying to save time by going to the closest one to me.
I was a former employee of LabCorp. I loved Labcorp prior to 2018. (different management) I worked here as a phlebotomist each employee worked extremely hard. Were short staffed. When you communicate that to office manager she tells you work faster. Figure out another method She said and did so many things including violating HIPPA. She pops in when she feels like it, Or when a patient screams and calls her she drives over to the office blames you and says you need to be retrained. The manager never had anything positive to say. I met a lot of nice patients who witnessed things themselves and felt sorry for us. If I was a patient coming into be drawn I understand how it can be frustrating. Just know that everyone working at this Irvine Brarranca site works very hard and goes as fast as they can. I would recommend filling out a complaint card and mailing them yourselves to the corporate office. Let them know your wait times and that only one person is drawing. Dont talk to the manager its pointless. She tells you what you want to hear and then nothing changes. Not even for the employees.
Im really phobic of needles and need blood tests or IVs fairly often...the younger guy working here gave me the least painful blood test Ive ever had in my life. Wait time also wasnt bad as a walkin.
You shouldnt wait for over an hour for bloodwork, they dont know about the different types of tests
I have tried Irvine Lab corp 3 times. Always the same. Just a drop off took 8 minutes. Never got in for blood work because wait was to long. Thos morning over an hour. I could drive in traffic to Tustin location and be back in Irvine before people that I saw there had been taken care of. I stopped back one time to see if any of the same people were still there. Some were still waiting. Never more than a 5 to 10 minute wait at Tustin location. They are doing something right there.
Not Following the Checkin Order , people wait for over 150 mins to get their routine blood work done , the guy in the front desk is telling everyone that the wait time is 2 hrs , poor service and not helpful
Crowded. Take long time to process. No standing in line concept. People coming in late, just jump in. Reception is awful. Need to learn courtesy.
Moved to 113 Waterworks Way. Super annoying that this entry is still here. LabCorp hasnt even updated their website, even tho its pretty clear they knew the lease would be ending and shouldve fixed this a while ago.
Good staff. Need not to wait long.
They take you in pretty quick.
Went today. This site has moved. Need to remove this web entry.
Long wait to get a routine lab work done. ...plus the lady at the front desk was rude
Quick services and very professional
They are always doing a wonderful job!
Pathetic incompetent front desk ... wont look up anything correctly and just give lip service. How can lazy people get and hold on to a jobs like that!!!!
I had scheduled for employment drug test, arrived their 15 min earlier than the scheduled time, was not called at my scheduled time, waited for 20 min, still not called, saw a guy getting drug test around my scheduled time, talked to the front desk person, finally got my drug test done which took only 5 min.
They lost our ( my son and I) specimens.
Great phlebotomist!
I came 10 before 7 still closed, they staff arrived at 7.55......suppose to open at 7 am it is ridiculous 🤥
This is the worst place. Go to other lab!!!!!!
Very bad service with confused staff!!!!!👎👎👎👎👎👎
Very bad customer service.
Line is too long
Good
Professional
Please note this facility is closed for lunch 12-1 even though they are only open till 3pm. No where on their website nor internet indicates this. Truly unprofessional of them not to mention this for busy individuals!
