I have paid for trugreen for 1.5 years now. Ill admit that my lawn was not amazing when they started treating my lawn, but instead of seeing progress, my lawn has only gotten worse. I tried to call customer service and could barely understand the person helping me. I will be happy to improve my rating of this company if they make this right, but I sadly doubt that they will. I would suggest calling a locally owned small business to treat your lawn. I am sure you will find you experience much better than mine has been.

When I spoke with the salesman, he gave me everything I wanted in a lawncare company. Unfortunately, NONE of that came true. I had 1 bare spot in my yard and some weeds I wanted to get rid of, so I went with the big name TruGreen. Their people are in and out so fast and really dont even want to see people. I was told I was getting pest control from foundation to street, but the technicians said they dont even offer that. The weeds have tripled since starting TruGreen and now I have several bare spots. When they came to aerate the lawn, they broke 3 sprinkler heads and a set of solar lights even after I pointed out all of the sprinkler heads to them. They tore up the front of my yard when they were trying to load the machine and then just left. I also cancelled my service and immediately they charged me for another service. I live in a gated community and gave them the number to call so I can let them in, but they never did. I just got notified that they couldnt perform their duties because the gate was locked. Absolutely worst service for the money I have ever used.

Signed up online 4 weeks ago. I made sure it was clear that my reason for contracting them was for weed control. Well the called and let me know what day they were coming. Didnt show. Next day showed up and sprayed my yard for fertilizer and weed control. Next day I get a call from a sales person that tells me my trees and shrubs need grub control. They said the technician said it would help my trees and shrubs. I proceeded to tell them I didnt have one single tree or shrub. They thanked me and said goodbye. After 3 weeks, my weeds had multiplied 1000%. I called to cancel my agreement. She convinced me that they would make it right and come re spray for free. The day before the appointment I get a call reminding me. Next day guy shows up but said he only sprays for mosquitoes. Nice guy. So I call to let their office know they sent wrong tech. They wanted to schedule another week. I said no and told the toncancel my agreement. The agreed and apologized. Next day we get an email that a treatment had been performed. We have cameras and we were home. Nobody came. How is trugreen still in business? Hope this helps them improve!

Worst experience of my life. It’s a lot cheaper to not pay someone to ruin your yard. I can now say officially that I have the worst lawn in the neighborhood. Thanks TruGreen! Avoid avoid avoid!!!

The rating is for my lawn keeper, Troy. He is the best Ive ever had and takes great care of my yard. Treats it like its his own. Hes the only technician I allow to service it. Very thankful to have him. Hes the reason I stay with Trugreen. MM

Please Be Aware!!! I will never use TruGreen again nor recommend them to anyone!!! I witnessed the Tech not completing the job and said in the system treated the full yard. Only spent less than 10 mins there. I was done! I spoke to 6 to 7 representatives even Corporate to cancel my contract thinking that she would be the last person that I speak with but that failed. I couldn’t get a simple email from them but yet I get tons of emails wanting me to upgrade..RedFlag!! I was told by all of them that it was going to be canceled and the charge removed but found out it was never canceled and I was charged again for a service that never took place but said the service was performed. I work from home and did not see anyone arrive and I have cameras. So that’s a lie!! They have caused unnecessary stress and time. I have never dealt with a company like this before. And I hope I never will. If you decide to go with this company , make sure you are home and watch the Tech.

TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION!! I have had to call MULTIPLE times for extra mosquito defense treatments. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time on the phone with Tru Green. I was guaranteed as many treatments as needed. Each time I have called for this, the agent immediately puts it in the system and tells me it will be 24-48 hours. This amount of time passes, and I have to call again and go through the same process. At this point another week has passed and I am in even more need of the service. I also know that the technician was quickly spraying around the front of my house only, when I gave explicit instructions that the problem stemmed from the back of my property where there is a ditch with standing water. Last year, I did not have the problem with them following through with my service. This year has been awful. I have recommended Tru Green to many people, but will not do so anymore and WILL NOT renew my contract after this one is up. SO DISAPPOINTING!!

Where do i start. Got a notification that they would be out to do the aeration on the lawn. A day later, i got another notification that the service was completed. Except...it wasnt. I was charged $175. I called, the cs lady said that they probably went to the wrong address. Ok, reschedule. Says they are coming out. A day later, says they are done. Except...it wasnt. Called again. Cs dude says that they accidentally did a weed service on the lawn. Ok, reschedule. A day later the tech calls me and tells me that he accidentally knocked me off the schedule but will be there first thing in the morning. Hey, guess what happens. Thats right, no one showed for the entire day. I called cs and got a refund and cancelled the aeration. Ill get a local company to come out and get the job done. Next step will be to cancel TG altogether.

Poor communication and service. Today, they were going to be here between 10 & 3. At 1:05, got a text saying they were here, went out to talk to them. Nobody here. Got a text 6 minutes later, said they were done. I AM DONE WITH THEM!

Do NOT go online and put your contact information in unless you are definitely going to use their services. They will call, email, and text pretty much nonstop. Even after I told them I was not interested, they continued to call. I blocked numbers, sent email to junk, and blocked texts but they just use different numbers. It’s on the verge of harassment.

So, after all of the billing mishaps for nearly a year. I decided to give True Green a fair shot and pay for the entire year up front to save a little. They had done a great job in the past, although the tech that was coming out was absolutely incredible ( Hes no longer treating my yard for some reason and each time I have a different tech now ) . Here is a picture of my yard as of today. Note, the yard has had all treatments they offer including 2 additional topical weed treatments. - As you can see, I have not nearly received what I paid for - over 500.00 and my yard is mostly weeds - What a rip off - NOTE - My yard has received ALL treatments apart of the program including pre-mergence

Ive had the service for over a year, my yard is full of weeds. Have to repeatedly have them come back out still poor results took 2 months to finally get a response ask for a manager to come out and look at my lawn at a time I would be home they came when I wasnt here wrote up everything wrong with my yard very detailed about it which is why I wanted them to come when I was here to discuss thier service I was getting and why did my yard look like this. Would not promote Trugreen to do anyones lawn.Poor Customer service also 2 to 3 hours wait if you call to speak to someone unsatisfied

I was disappointed the technician would do my first mosquito treatment when it was drizzling and forecasted to be heavy rains that day and all week. Sure theyll reservice for free no hassle. It just seems like it should have been scheduled better or rescheduled when it was very apparent that it was going to rain. I shouldnt have to call to request a reservice considering it was literally drizzling while application was being done. Even if the technician needed to get paid for the time, my reschedule should have at least been automatic.

We requested a quote from the company. After telling one sales rep we werent ready to go forward, we were contacted by a rude, pushy rep who apparently thought we were wasting his time. He said he serviced the West Columbia area. My wife ended up hanging up on him.

I pay TruGreen to treat my entire yard, however they only do the front typically and when the are treating it I know that they are not doing the backyard because there are no traces they were back there and I have cameras. Yesterday I Received notification that “Evan” was at my house and “Evan” has been here before. So looked at my cameras and no one was there, never came, never treated nada. So I called complained bill was on my account told them to remove it, they did not ask to have a follow up call with manager, never called. So I called again today, said service is rescheduled for 22nd, but are not going to comp me for bill nor do anything for me. You all LIED to me said you did a service but didn’t, said “ oh he may have go to wrong house” they have GPS so that’s BS it was them trying to get a quick buck for not doing the work. Liars!

Prepaid for $361 dollars for service from TruGreen. Called in the next day which was a Friday to cancel the service and get a refund. I was told my account was canceled and I will receive a refund. On Monday a TruGreen tech arrived at my home. Me and my wife were unaware because we both work from home and were taking calls at the time. Called in the next day and was told my account wasnt canceled and there was no instance of a refund request found. Once again the agent assured me that the refund will be processed and the account will be canceled. Called back in the same day and was told by another agent that she sees a credit of $40 was submitted. The agent said a supervisor will be calling me back. Received two calls stating that a refund of $280 will be submitted. They are basically charging me for the work that was done, but I called to cancel 3 days before the tech was sent out. Received a second call stating that a full refund will be processed. Its now 6 days later and I still have not received a refund. I should have listened to others who warned me against Trugreen.

I signed up for Truegreen Lawn Care Service online and recieved a call from the Local Truegreen Representative in my area. In the phone call this guy trys to tell me that he came by my home and looked at my property. I am Semi-Retired and I am home most of the time as I work from home. There was no indication that anyone had stopped by my home to estimate my lawn project... that plus the fact that the reviews here are less than what I expected. During the call the guy said he felt uncomforatbale talking to me...(because I asked him who authorized him to come l look at my property) I was polite and said ok thanks. Due to this experience I will NEVER contact this business again.

We bought the home thinking the grass was dormant. Before moving in, we engaged true green, and found that the grass was actually dead by the time we moved in. Still, they continue to treat the dirt. Ive tried twice to cancel. They still come and treat the dirt.

If you’re reading this right now thinking about purchasing this service or even worse becoming an employee let me tell you PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!! One of the most unprofessional businesses I have ever seen. I have seen it both from a customer standpoint and employee (not me but a loved one) if only you all knew what really goes on behind the Scenes, you would be horrified! I cannot stress enough do not waste your time and money on these “treatments” or even filling out an application.

You cannot get a local person on the phone when you have a problem. You have to go through a nationwide system and wait for someone local to call. They seldom do. I have been a customer for 20 years but I am done. I’ve tried to reach someone locally for the last two weeks, but the way the system is set up you cannot register a legitimate complaint or problem and have it fixed. I’m going to go with someone who is entirely local, that way when I have an issue I can get that person on the phone. My advice is to go local too.

All their service visits (Matthew) are early and on time. They send e-mail reminders before and after as well as written notice of exactly what that visit does for my lawn. This is not a full service Lawn Care company. No mowing, trimming, planting or landscaping. They analyze and recommend solutions to problems found and apply needed remedies with your specific approval. First job is eliminate unwanted weeds and feed the grass for growth. They offer a range of solutions for other yard problems, but I chose only those mentioned above. Get rid of these dandelions everywhere in my yard..., I said. They did and still do keep pesky weeds out by spraying with no harm to my shrubbery, flowering plants or trees! At first I considered the cost high. However, I will continue their plan because they accomplished the task professionally. When I get busy and keep leaves, branches and Pine Straw off my lawn, I will have a lawn to be proud of. I have 31pines,8oaks,2maples & 4 sable Palmettos- S.C.state trees plus a huge fig tree,camellias & azaleas-More than I can rake! But, I am grateful to be blessed in so many ways. Praise God.

I have had some problems with one of the services. Had to ask to talk to a Supervisor. One of the men said he had been to my house and job had been completed. NOT TRUE. I was sitting 10 feet from my front door and have a Jack Russell dog that barks like crazy when somebody even walks up my driveway. That man never came to my door. In the e-mail sent he stated the job was completed and sorry he had missed me!!! As I said when told he could have had the wrong address. If I get a GPS direction on my computer showing the way to my house and he cant follow that then he doesnt need to be working for the company. The first service putting down lime and weed killer was GREAT. But they had to come back to put more weed killer down which was no charge. Hopefully after talking to the person I talked to this morning things will get better.Will report at a later date on this one!!!

I paid for a year service upfront. I requested to not have a subscription service. After a year of service I noticed my weeds have gotten much worse. I recorded the technicians would come to my home and just sit in their truck for 20 minutes and leave without ever going out in my yard. They then charged me for two months after my initial year. I refuse to pay for no service.

Horrible customer service! According to our lawn care specialist(Nathan) came out on Friday and did a lime treatment. There was no signage in the yard and no note in the front door explaining what had been done. We didnt receive notification that they were even coming out because we have dogs and our backyard gate is locked. Its super frustrating when youre being charged for a service that wasnt even done.We will be taking our service elsewhere!

I have used Trugreen for my lawn and shrubs for almost 4 years. Every year the lawn looks worse. When I asked to have a manager call they wolld not. When I asked to have a manager meet me at the property to review my services they would not (COVID excuse). Had a lawn and weed service three weeks ago and still not greening except for the weeds that continue to grow. I believe they say they are treating and do nothing. Great business model...for a short time. Look elsewhere. Will post a picture later.

Ok...... Paid Trugreen to come spray my yard for mosquitos because theres a retention pond behind my house. They were recommended to me by a friend. I was told when I paid up front for 5 sprays that someone would be here Wednesday or Thursday to spray my yard. No one came. Got an email on Friday saying they would be here on Monday from 11-4. Not a call nothing just an email. They show up 2 my house at 9:30am...no call no nothing....spray only the front yard and then leave. Never came to my door...never called.....nothing. DONT USE TRUGREEN!!!!!

Just got started but so far everything looks good and the service is great. We saw that some of the weeds were still trying to grow so we called to see if we could have another application of the weed control put on the lawn again. TruGreen sent Mathew Jimenez out within three days for the second application and the work was performed in a very professional manner. UPDATE : Mathew Jimenez came out a third time but this time he overstayed and killed 50% of my yard!

I have been a TruGreen customer for several years so when I moved down to my new house in Lexington SC, I entered into a service contract. What a mistake. The first issue was they applied a treatment to my lawn that created brown spots. I called the company and they sent out a tech that told me he has no clue and a supervisor would be out. Supervisor never showed up. The second issue was charged for services not rendered. I called up and they said they would come out and do the service. Needless to say they never showed up. I requested a manager call me back. 3 days later a manager called me and told me he was going to look into this and call me right back. No call back. I reached my breaking point and TruGreen left me no choice but to cancel my service. If you live in the Lexington SC area, I would not recommend TruGreen under any circumstance.

I would say that TruGreen did a good job this year on my lawn. The appearance of the lawn was very good for most of the year. The specialist was friendly and timely. He was knowledgeable and the value was fair for the money spent. Certain weeds in my lawn (dont know their name) were stubborn and continued to persist throughout the year. This being my first year with TruGreen, there was noticeable improvement in my lawn from the previous year.

Donny always rings the doorbell before he begins the service and explains exactly what will be done to the lawn. He also lets me know what the expected results will be and whether or not the lawn should be watered after the application. He knows me by name, and is always polite and professional. I have always had success when he treats my lawn. True Green surpasses by far other services I have used.

One of the best items about the lawn service with TruGreen is - no one needs to be present when the service is applied. The professional technicians do excellent work and our lawn is proof of this! I have yet to be present when the technician has visited, I always see the TruGreen lawn sign and always receive a detailed statement of what was applied to the lawn.

Each time, weather permitting, that lawn specialist performs a service, it is thoroughly done, and in timely manner. All specialists are friendly, professional and very nice gentlemen. When I receive the calls from Trudy, I usually call to verify the service that is to be performed. I wish they were a little less expensive, especially for Senior Citizens, on fixed incomes. My lawn and bushes always look lovely, due to applications from Trugreen, and regular maintenance.

My lawn is now green and lush looking, where before it had many weeds and bare spots. Poor customer experience! I am a top Google local guide and this is my very first 1 star review. Last summer I called Trugreen to sign up for service to address dead spots and weeds in my back yard. For several months everything was fine but about a month ago my wife asked the tech if our girls needed to stay out of the backyard. The tech informed us that he wasnt treating our backyard and he hadnt been treating it. It had been treated in the past because I saw fertilizer there but they changed the service we were receiving for some reason. Looking back to our invoices we noticed that our square footage treated decreased twice during our months of service. I called Trugreen and they said we were only signed up for treatment in our front yard. They sent someone out to remeasure our yard and said they would call back. They didnt! I called them back after a few weeks and the rep said the local office manager would call me later. The office manager called and said our serviced needed to be increased and the cost would increase. I said I had been paying for backyard treatment all along and they just stopped treating it. She had no explanation. When she asked was she could do to make things right, I asked for 4 backyard treatments at no cost since I had paid for those and not received them. She said she couldnt do that and didnt offer to do anything else to make it right. Hundreds of dollars later our backyard is as bad as ever and the front yard isnt much better even after 10 treatments. To top it all off, they performed aeration we had schedule a while back and left a mess on our sidewalk and driveway. Im taking my business somewhere else.

Was the biggest waste of money and now have to spend much more money fixing my yard. They killed every bit of grass in my yard and replaced them with weeds of many kinds. if it was not weeds, then my yard was like an arid desert with cracking dirt due to overuse of chemicals. Some people with company were not very nice and insulting when I told them they killed everything in my yard. DO NOT waste your money. You will spend alot to get them to kill your yard and even more to repair it later on your own. Have since been told by many people that they had the same experience.

Purchased a year of service. Came for three treatments, one of those being a re treat. Weed killer did not kill weeds and these “experts” were treating sod that was dead. Canceled after I confirmed with the landscaper that it needed to be replaced (new build under warranty) and this local office refused to refund the the service they completed for no reason. As I do not need to be home for lawn servicing, timeliness is not a problem. When I have been home, the specialists friendliness and professionalism have been top notch. Most people do not understand that TRUGREEN does not maintain your lawn, they service it. Then you maintain it. I am reasonably happy with my lawns appearance. I say reasonably because there are still some things that I need to take care of.

I can’t really speak to their actual lawn service, considering they have yet to show up at the proper times. We told them we have a dog so they couldn’t come until 3. They showed up on a random day with no notice at 11am, then only called us to tell us they cancelled the appointment. This has happened twice now, so we’ve yet to receive any of the service we are paying for. Phone calls never go through to the local people, only to the national line, and they continue to just confirm we “should” be getting text a day before and they should be arriving after 4. Not worth the hassle.

My experience hasnt been the best. I also had them last year and wasnt happy but gave them another chance this year. I asked for the lawn to have the aeration service. There is a automated telephone call that you receive to remind you about removing things from your yard and making sure that the sprinkler heads are marked so they dont get hit. Well each week I did my part and no one showed up. Never calling me to tell me what happened, just a no show. Well by the 4th week, I told them I wasnt marking up anymore. They needed to do it. They acted like they understood and said they would be out. Lets just say after 6 weeks of foolishness I cancelled the entire service. There seems to be communication issues with the 800 number versus the local offices. They need to have someone in each local office to better serve their clients. I dont have time to stop working to do thing repeatedly and never getting the work done.

Even though services continued on my yard all Winter, weeds and bare spots are all over my yard. Purchased this home last Summer and yard looks WORSE since using TruGreen. We cannot say enough good about Trugreen Lawn Care service. Our yard looks great year round. The service people are dependable, polite and knowledgable. We get lawn, tree and shrub care. We get prompt answers to our questions. The products used are stronger and more efficient than anything we can buy over the counter. We have to do our part and trim, mow and water, because as our serviceman says, Its a 50/50 operation.

Beware! We had beautiful centipede grass, no weeds. Our front yard is covered with weeds, not only that but the service is not consistent. We get the 24 hour call saying they are coming and they dont, and then when you call to tell them no one showed up, they say they came (but never put their sign out or a notice on door that they have treated your yard). Always excuses to why something is not being taken care of. Save your money!

LACK OF RESPONSIVENESS, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, BAD MANAGEMENTI have been a Tru-Green customer for 3 years along with several people in my neighborhood. I am upset after talking with a local Tru-Green Manager, Bruce (Irmo, SC)My first question, which still has not been answered, is why have my treatments changed this year from all spray to all pellets? I would like a clear answer besides the answer I that I received from Bruce which was, because someone higher up decided that it was good. I will say that the answer came with an attitude.I also asked, why Tru-Green has not been spraying for weeds during their visits. I work from home and see every application on my yard. In addition, my back yard is FULL of weeds. If you want pictures, I am glad to send them. Bruce told me that he will check his paperwork in his office and that he will believe his paperwork over my own two eyes and over the actual preponderance of weeds in my back yard. This was really insulting.I did not just notice these things in August. I have asked the Tru-Green workers who have worked at my house, these questions since last May. I have been getting different answers from them like, we always use pellets and another person told me that ,Tru-Green uses spray fertilizer in the spring and fall and pellets in the summer. Again, I have been a Tru-Green customer for 3 years. The last 2 years, all fertilizer applications have been spray. Only this year, it has been pellets and always pellets. What should I think or believe? What is the Truth.For the past 2 months, I called the Tru-Green office in Irmo and left a messages for someone to call me back and no one did. Then, last week, a Tru-Green person named Jess stopped by my house. I told Jess about my questions and lack of answers and responsiveness. Together, we called the Irmo Office and spoke with Jess boss who assured me that I would get a call from Bruce by August 8th. After multiple follow ups on my part, Bruce finally gave me a call today and with a huge attitude. According to Bruce, he just found out to call me 5 minutes before his call. Something is definitely wrong.I told Bruce that I did not care for his attitude and asked to speak to his boss. After a few minutes of pulling teeth, I finally was given the name of Steven Renker and was told that we would be on vacation for the next 2 weeks.The thing that bothers me the most is the lack of customer focus.It is not good to not communicate with your customersIf there are changes to the tratments, tell your customers about it and tell them whyIf a customer calls the office, call them back. Is that too much to ask?If a customer calls the office, with a Tur-Green employee, and asks for help because of non-responsiveness from Tru-Green Managers, call them back as soon as possible, not one week later after a lot of customer follow up.

Totally unresponsive. Lack of follow-up. Any and all phone calls to the Irmo office transfer automatically to an Ohio headquarters who do not pass on requests for call backs. Very poor customer service.

Absolutely terrible experience with this company. They made a mistake and began treating only half of our yard. Even had their documentation to prove it. Then, TruGreen made NO EFFORT to remedy the mistake. One more fustration: aeration service does not include sweeping the dirt off your driveway.

Call today 6 / 15.... Was trying to get information about their services and how much my wife and I would be looking at to have them treat our yard. I told the guy we were still 2 weeks away from our yard being put in. It was more like a pressure seal trying to get us on the schedule. I kept telling the guy all I want to know is what services yall provide and I was wanting to get the quote that I was told I could get at the beginning. Once he realized I wasnt going to let them come out in the next 5 days.. mainly because our yard wouldnt even be installed, I was given a quick will call us back when youre yards ready and we can send someone out there and get you that quote and hung up. If all of their service was like this guy, then Im thankful to be going somewhere else to find a lawn care service.

The yard is coming around. I have a hybrid zoysia grass & it loves the heat...so we are almost there. It is however coming around with each application. I still got a few rough spots but my msn John Ward is on it and I trust he will have it back to pristine condition in the very short term. If I have a few spots outdoing as we expect John will happily make his way back to my residence and take care of business

Guy sat in truck for 15 minutes and did nothing but still charged $66.95. Luckily I have it on my security camera. My neighbor had the exact same experience and warned me when he saw I first had gotten these clowns! Stay clear of TruGreen they are a rippoff!

I have been very pleased w the services Tru Green offers and the results are such a great appearance to my lawn! I live on a corner lot and receive many compliments of my lawn. I appreciate the pre call/text/email notifying me of when my lawn will be treated. The note on my front door provides me w/treatment that was appropriate for time of year. The tech (Chris) was nice and did a good job of aerating our yard however he accidentally ran his machine into one of the 120 volt receptacles in the yard breaking the weather protective cover. I was in the yard and heard the loud crunch! I brought this to Chriss attention and he took pictures of the damage with his tablet and said a supervisor would contact me shortly with a resolution or compensation. This was over a month ago and no one has contacted me yet. I have called twice and was told a manager would return my call but that never happened. Of course they insisted that I pay for the all the work up front weeks before the employee even came out. In my opinion, this company is more driven by greed than actually providing a good service and helping its customers. Ill never use them again or recommend then to anyone. What a shame. We are only taking about a $25.00 cover and I was willing to replace it myself.

I cant even give this company one star. They deserve no stars whatsoever. I am severely disappointed in this company. We paid quite a bit of money up front for TrueGreen to only end up killing absolutely everything in our yard except the weeds. Our grass is beyond dead. Its gray. Calls to our local office are always unreturned. If we happen to catch someone in the office, a very disinterested rep will yawningly take our message and tell us someone will get back to us in 48 hours (which never happens). The few times weve managed to catch one of the technicians at our house, weve asked him to please take pictures of the yard and have the local supervisor/manager call us. Contact never happens. In fact, the last time we actually spoke to a technician, his advice was that we go ahead and pay to renew our contract with them or theyll stop talking to us altogether. Thats a RIDICULOUS way to run a business! Weve left messages for the local manager, the area manager, weve called corporate who has transferred us to their customer complaint department where weve left complaints and pleas for someone to come out, but nothing has been rectified. The last straw was when we FINALLY made contact with someone who claimed to be the regional manager and who said he would come out to our house to survey the yard. The date he gave us for when hed come out to our home was YESTERDAY. My husband was home all day yesterday, and the man never showed up.We live in an upscale neighborhood in a quarter-of-a-million-dollar home and are not trying to scam TrueGreen out of money. We simply want what we paid for. We also live in a neighborhood with a Home Owners Association that will fine our residents for unkept yards. If we receive such a fine, that too will be TrueGreens fault. As stated before, no one from TrueGreen will return our calls. At this point, we dont want TrueGreen to fix the problem, since its obvious they cant (or wont). Right now, we want our money back so that we can pay someone ELSE to do it right! TrueGreen, when may we expect our refund? Oh wait. There will be no response to that request either.

I would give them negative stars if I could! All a scam. The only reason we stayed with them for 7 months was because the golf course supplemented it and heavy rains must have helped our yard struggle for some of its life back. We had all the packages we could get, including mosquito and weed treatments. The weeds were always out of control, including the mosquito problem despite us not living near bodies of water for them to breed in. It blew our minds how bad it was, but we held out for them only because the grass was growing in a bit thicker than the weeds. Turns out, our neighbor had been watching trugreen come out to our house. They always choose weird times in the middle of the day when they knew we were at work, despite requests against it. Never told us the correct time, and never knocked until the job was done. The technicians would sit in their cars for 15-20 mins then stick a tag in the ground when they came up to knock, knowing we wouldnt answer. The one time I caught one when i came home from work, he said he was treating for mosquitos. He had a hose with a spray nozzle and, judging by smell and look, seemed to just be watering them. He had no knowledge of what it was made of, how long it would take to work, or how often it needed to be done. They just send me out here. These people are scams, do your yard work yourself like we do. Walmart and Lowes are your friends, so is google and product reviews on amazon. Be smart.To let you know that they know this happens, we called at first just to ask for the service to be cancelled and we got heavy attitudes and denial. The moment we told them we have proof the technicians werent doing their jobs they transferred us to a corporate office who didnt ask questions, just cancelled our service and didnt charge us for the last treatment they did where we caught them.

We hired Trugreen last summer after their representative promised that our lawn would look like a golf course in one year. So here we are a year later and our lawn looks much worse than it did before Trugreen. We had a lot of healthy grass, which is now dead. When I confronted their representative about the dead grass, he admitted that he knows nothing about law care and it was just a job. It is going to cost a small fortune to re-sod our yard. I absolutely cannot recommend this company. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Just OK. I cant really get them to keep basic weeds out (despite multiple retreats) or troublesome grasses I dont want (crabgrass, nutsedge, poanna, ect...). Dont really see any customization for my yard making any difference. I aerate, mow, water myself. They have severely damaged my grass before and then dont really fix it, but apologize all the time for these things that keep happening. All while I spend time, money, and water trying to fix their mistakes or lack of proper product.

Zero stars is the correct rating, but this site made me hit at least one star to post it. I was looking to have some one spray for mosquitos prior to a outdoor wedding. After dealing with almost 30 minutes of being pressured to go with a contract, we got them back to our desired treatment. Then the day before the wedding they had not shown up and we called them. The sales guy was so busy trying to up-sale us he got the wrong date. We asked around mid morning was there any way they could arrive that day, and was told no. Requesting a supervisor or the local branch manager yielded a no as well. The local branch manager did call a couple hours later but I had already implemented plan B. So I told them to cancel my treatment. Three days after the wedding a guy shows up on the day they had it scheduled, sets in his truck for approximately an hour, and then put a not on my door saying that he treated my yard.

I have been using Trugreen for about a year now. I noticed a good bit of weeds in the yard about a month ago so I called in and they sent someone out to treat the yard. A few weeks later half of my yard is DEAD. I called back and they sent someone back out to the house. They are telling me its some type of fungus. They will not stand behind the Healthy lawn guarantee and are saying everything to not take blame for killing my yard. I have pictures from before, when the yard was lush and thick, and after and still they say its due to the water and its due to fungus etc. etc. Its impossible to get anyone from the local office or a manager on the phone. Its very sad that a company this size can go in kill a customers yard and refuse to take responsibility. I m now faced with having to tear up the yard and replace the sod which is going to cost thousands of dollars.
