This company has failed to repair damage to our home that incurred during the maintenance of an easement beside our home. Our home was damaged in three places by Spence Irrigation & Landscapes, LLC. We have contacted Ron via phone and email numerous times since the incident first occurred in June of 2020. Ron has demonstrated very little follow up on this issue. He has made both written and verbal agreements to have the damage that his crew caused on our home fixed, but the repairs to the damage have yet to be fixed. Below is a timeline of our contacts and attempts at getting the damage on our home repaired.- June 24, 2020 - Date of first and second damage to two overlapping pieces of vinyl siding on our home.- June 24, 2020 - We contacted MJS, Inc. (property management company that runs our HOA), and left a message regarding the damage.- June 25, 2020 - We spoke with someone at MJS (Kelly) about the damage. Kelly indicated that MJS would ask Ron Spence (owner of Spence Irrigation & Landscapes, which is the landscaper) to contact us about the damage.- July 2, 2020 - We called Ron about the damage since we had not yet been contacted by Ron. Ron came to our house and looked at the damage with us. Ron verbally agreed to replace the damaged pieces of siding.- August 19, 2020 - Date of third damage- August 19, 2020 - We called Ron, who quickly said that he would have the siding fixed, but who also ended the call before we could inform him of the new damage that had occurred earlier in the day.- August 19, 2020 - We emailed Ron and CCd the Warranty department of Essex Homes (Builder, which is now part of Stanley Martin Homes) and Kelly at MJS in reference to the damage and requested for corrective action to be taken by September 2, 2020.- August 31, 2020 - We contacted Ron to follow up on our request. Ron indicated that subcontractors are busy right now and that it is difficult to find someone to come out and replace the siding. He told us that he would ask his friend, Phillip, who runs a business that does house additions and extensions, to come look at the damage when he got back in town on September 8 to see if it is something that Phillip or anyone at his company would do as an odd job (Phillip has not come, to our knowledge).- September 21, 2020 - Date of fourth damage (we also have this particular incident on video where the debris shield on the lawn mower is not down due to improper usage of the lawn equipment by the operator)- November 24, 2020 - Ron indicated that CS Exteriors had been contacted and would be reaching out to fix the siding.- December 4, 2020 - We followed up with Ron due to not hearing anything from CS Exteriors. Ron responded the next day stating he would follow up.- February 8, 2021 - We reached out to Ron again after we failed to reach CS Exteriors over 10 times ourselves to inquire about the repair work being completed, and the repair work has still not been completed.- February 9, 2021 & February 13, 2021 - Ron indicated that he was reaching out to CS Exteriors about the repairs.Ron Spence of Spence Irrigation& Landscapes, LLC has failed to contact us since February 13, 2021 with an update. The repairs that originally occurred in June of 2020 that he verbally and in writing agreed to fix, have yet to be addressed. I would not recommend this business as my interactions with them have been less than positive.

I have worked with and hired many contractors over the years and I must say that Ron and his team should be the standard at which all the others should try to reach!!! Professional, courteous and strive to make sure every detail is taken care of. They go way above and beyond what is expected and they know what they are doing. Your next project will be perfect with Spence Irrigation and Landscape. Absolute excellence!!!!!
