Ive been a customer of Divine Hands Beauty & Barber Salon since 2018. I can certainly attest to Dees passion and drive to make my hair journey a fascinating journey! Her experience and knowledge is proven with each session that I have. Not only does she demonstrate her skills in the shop, but she makes it her personal goal to educate me on how to continue proper hair care at home between visits!!

Im a regular customer due to previous stylist either not being on time or couldnt show for whatever reason..was having an issue with my hair growing back after a major cut a few years ago..stylist Dee explained in detail what was going on & what I needed to do to get it to grow and the reason it wasnt growing...she suggested a protective style of curls..(which I very hesitant about and wouldnt have tried)...its been just over a year and hair has returned to original length and remains healthy...🥰🥰🥰there are other stylist in shop for braids, twist and/or dreads, hair cut, eyelashes and/or make-up..have NEVER witnessed a male or female leave not looking AWESOME 🙂🙂the atmosphere is nice never crowded and not in shop ALL day as I have at other establishments

This is the best haircut I have gotten in years. I come out of the shop feeling new and clean aka fresh. I love the cleanliness, family friendly atmosphere and timeliness of the shop.

I arrived at Devine Hands Salon on time for my 3 p.m. appointment. I received the classic wet cha and set chanot long after arriving. The owner wasnt ready for me until 6 p.m. I mentioned that my last two times at the shop required me to wait an excessively long time for service. She suggested I book during the week day when she is not busy. I booked this appt because the previous appt was a rushed job of 3 oversized braids as oppose to the smaller neater braids she had provided in the past. The owner said I didnt know you wanted to get your hair washed. I thought you wanted just more braids. The conversation started to trend upward and I asked if just the two of us could talk privately. The owner commented, youre still talking. She suggested that I find a new stylist after this visit, and I responded I had reached that conclusion. Next, she refused to complete my service and threatened to call the police on me AS I GATHERED MY THINGS TO LEAVE. She earned her zero rating today boldly.

Mrs D is so professional, she took me in even though I called in at last minute. She made me feel welcomed! I felt like I been knowing her for a long time even though it was my first time meeting her and at the salon also. I recommend her salon and she did lovely job on my hair and gave me a little education on how to keep my hair healthy. I will definitely be going back and Thanks!

Ms. Dee has helped us so much! I did not know how to properly care for my foster daughters hair type. She has been so kind to my daughter and has taught her and I so much about hair care. Her braids are beautiful and reasonably priced. My daughter loves her because she is always gentle and doesnt make it a painful experience.

Iman cut and styled my hair exactly as I asked. My hair looks and feels healthy again. The shop is cute and cozy, and I even received local restaurant suggestions while there. I am glad I found my new hair stylist!

Excellent service, professional clean and knows their stuff. The owner is a Master at caring for all types of hair. My hair grows and is in excellent condition even though I continuously braid or have crochet braids put in. My hairline is in excellent condition. If you want healthy natural hair Divine Hands is the place to go.

I’ve been wanting my hair super blonde with ash tone, no yellow, no grey, and have tried several stylists with no luck. But Crystal rocked my hair first try! I spent years wearing braids but decided it was time to let my hair be free in its natural state. I spent many hours researching natural hair and attempting to styleit on my own but wasn’t successful. I didn’t know where else to turn until I found Ms. D. 😊 I visited Divine Heads yesterday with no direction. I had no concrete style in mind, I was afraid of what I would look like once I decided on a style, and I didn’t really know why I wasn’t achieving the results I wanted when trying to style it on my own , but Ms. D was patient with me, allowed me time to decide what style I really wanted after much discussion and looking at different styles, and not only that, she educated me a lot on caring for natural hair. So to make a long story short, I left Ms. D with an edgy, cute and beautifully coiled cut, and with a big smile on my face. I was confident in how I looked and as someone who was nervous to let her natural just be, I can honestly say that thanks to Ms. D, that is no longer the case. I encourage anyone who is a newbie to wearing your natural or just need to give your natural some love and care, you owe it to your curls and coils to go see Ms. D. You won’t be disappointed! Day 2 of my style and still smiling...😄
