After calling a lot of other places to have my brakes repaired on my BMW I decided to call Kohler. Matt and Gary beat the price by a pretty good margin which is great, however the service is unreal. After finishing my brakes Gary called me to say the sensor they needed was not on the brakes. He said he could order it, but said if I could find it cheaper they would install it. Not only did they install it, but Matt gave me a ride back to my house while they did it. They did not charge me to install the sensor! Small shop, really busy and really good people.

Had my water pump go out and these guys had me fixed up for a fair price by the next day! Great work will definitely call them again if I have car trouble.

We have been using the Kohler brothers for the last five years. They are awesome! Gary always gets back to me, even on a Sunday, to try and fit our car in asap. The value is unbeatable. They are very honest, and just good people.Their father owned the shop and then they took over, and I will be very sad when they retire, because Im afraid it will be bought out by someone outside of the family. Until then, however, our cars will be going there for repairs and oil changes!

BE WARNED: I really wanted Kohler to be my new go to shop for car repair, but sadly they are not an honest shop. I took my wife’s Mazda5 there to fix a suspension rattle. He quickly diagnosed it, gave me a call, and quoted me a price to replace the control rod at around $100. Great, I thought! I was expecting much more! Went in a picked up the car and sure enough, the rattle was gone. Fast forward two months and I’m putting on winter tires and I find that the control rod was not replaced, but simply removed, to fix the rattle. This control rod is not necessary to support the weight of the vehicle, but is necessary to stabilise the car in emergency manoeuvres. Apparently it is a common scam to remove it to fix a rattle, which is what Kohler did, when on my invoice it is clearly written replace. Not only that, but they left the wire for the abs sensor and that bracket dangling. I should have taken it directly back and confronted them, but I really didn’t want them touching the car again, so I took it to my old shop whom I trust.

Excellent Service. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Customer for 13 years and many more to come. You dont get that dreaded what are they going to try to sell me feeling like most BIG shops push. They tell you what is wrong, how theyll fix it, and dont charge inflated fees to do it.The also offer UHAUL trucks and accessories at market pricing.

I have been a customer for over 20 years. They were always there when you needed them. They always did the best job at a reasonable price, and believe me you wont beat their price. When we first moved here, with all our kids we had 6 cars and it seemed we had a car there every week. They always got the job done, within a reasonable amount of time, and usually with no appointment, unlike most places. You will learn to love these guys just like I have.

The staff seemed friendly and honest, and didnt overcharge like some other auto repair chains do. Car was serviced within a few hours, and the mechanic gave good advice without trying to sell me unnecessary products. Will definitely come here again next time!

After they realized that the work they had quoted me couldnt be done in an easier manner they listened to suggestions I had found online and were able to complete the job and keep the price at what they quoted. I have faithfully used Gary Kohler for auto repairs throughout my 35 years living in Hudson, Ohio. He has proved to be honest, trustworthy and a provider of quality service - wouldnt go anywhere else.

I took exception to the reviewer who gave only one star. Please read on, this reviewer was lent the co-owners personal vehicle for 2 weeks at no charge. During this time, they were cited twice by police for moving violations. They didnt divulge the tickets when they returned the vehicle. When the co-owner contacted them after receiving notifications in his mail, they denied having any knowledge of them. Dirtbags like this should be publicly tarred and feathered.We have used Kohlers for over 10 years. Ethical, reasonable prices, good work and accommodating. They have helped me out more than once in an emergency situation. In their foyer, they have multiple newspaper articles written about them tacked up. They are a 30+ year family owned business with 1000s of satisfied customers. I would recommend them.

**RUDE, ARGUMENTATIVE AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE**Not only did they “lose” my uhal reservation, but the gentleman (who is also the owner) was a complete ASS to me. Did not offer any apologies or solutions to the problem and in fact INSISTED that it was me who had the problem. Unorganized mess. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. VERY disappointed.

They broke my emergency brake fixing my brakes, and now my brakes gave out and I have little to no traction! They are currently avoiding me. Its not worth saving the dollars. They are HORRIBLE!

Did a horrible job on attempting to fix my cars breaks spent money they on parts and labor just to have to take it to another shop , then when asked about returning the parts that were bought but never used they gave me a week long run around to eventually tell me they won’t refund them.
