I usually have had good experiences with Discount Tire. In person theyve been great. But this time I ordered tires online to get the military discount. It took two weeks and they still werent ready when I stopped by hoping to pick them up. Well at least I was able to get them, but had to wait for them to be mounted. As always the in person service was great 👍. Just not sure if I would order online again.

After having to reschedule multiple times, Andrew was very patient and supportive. They took great care of my truck putting much needed new tires on her!I was annoyed that the company only accepts veteran discount if you purchase online. Its definitely wouldve saved me a few pennies. However, Chris was very nice and awesome with the customer service process and I was very satisfied!

Great service from Discount! The location is very organized, clean, and prices were fair. They have taken several extra steps to make everyone comfortable. Every employee was friendly and willing to help!They were able to get the tire I needed in less than 24 hours, which was super helpful. Other stores needed 72 because of the weekend.Overall, very impressed with the service. If you need help, I’d definitely give them a chance.

Love Discount Tire! Have been buying tires from DT for 40 years. Just replaced a pothole damaged tire - for $20.25, the cost of insurance on the new tire (saved $220.00!). Have always received great service and great prices.

I needed a tire and rim for my trailer. I called them up and they told me they had one. I brought my tire in and they told me it might be an hour, which, I was totally cool with. They had my rim and tire finished in 7 minutes. Wow... Way to go! Thank you so much. This is why I use them over Belle tire.

Yeah these guys are usually swamped so expect to wait longer than they say. You can probably double whatever they say to wait. But at least they take of you and I haven’t had any major problems doin business here. They’re trying the best they can.

Cleaned out frozen mud and ice on my rims, rebalanced my tires and fixed a rim leak at no charge. The visit took 30 minutes. Fantastic shop for all tire related needs.This store is accommodating to customers with hearing loss. I had a good experience with this store.

Made an appointment and they said it would be 1 hour to 1.5 hours to get my tires changed. 45 minutes in they hadnt even started while I waited in lobby. Then Im told to put mask on when there was no one around for at least 20 and that was another man also with no mask. But he was fine. Many places to get high performance tires but it wont be here.

Update 8/11/21: My previous review still stands. The staff here are working their tails off and doing their best to service the vehicles as quickly and safely as they can. Between the phone and the in-store experience, I ended up talking with 3 different individuals (Ben, Brent, Andrew) and they were all super helpful. I made an appointment prior to coming in. I was welcomed and serviced on time. They had me in and out of there with 4 new tires in one hour. Very friendly service. No pushes for upgrades if you don’t want them. Highly recommend this place.

Had new tires put on and wheel weights came off with in 4 miles. This makes my second issue in a row when going to discount tire and I am done! Sad as I have been a customer since 1986. Right now I am at a local shop paying $40 to have all 4 tires re balanced because I no longer trust Discount.

I knew what I wanted so I ordered online. Set the appointment, 2 minutes wait. All issues I had were taken care of. I was out of there in 20 minutes. I will recommend this shop to anyone.

So I just walked in and didnt even realize this store closed 45 min before I walked in! But they are so amazing because I had a flat tire and they still helped me out and put a new tire on for me! Best tire store in town and the workers are very nice! Thank you guys so much!! 5 stars!

3rd time back same tire with a slow leak and im sitting here for 2+ hours wiating and a bay has been open the entire time.

Used to be the best location. I have used Discount Tire for twenty years. Frequented AnnArbor and Canton locations as well as Howell. Yesterday, I brought my warranted tires in for leaks. Got a call right before pickup about both tpi need replacing, $100.. Didnt seem right. Made even less sense when I went back and all three people at checkout had the same issue by chance. Same time, same day. Highly unlikely. My trust is now shaken for this place.

By far best tire shop in Howell. I made a appointment for 2:45, so I dropped my truck off early at 1 and it Had new tires on by 2, before my appointment time. Not only that i made the appointment the same day!! On top of the speedy service they put new pressure valves on free of charge! The staff are all friendly as well! Plus the price was very reasonable for putting the new tires on and disposing of the old tires. 12/10 would recommend this place

In and out fast very good on what they do

I bought new tires a few months ago from here and recently started to get tire pressure issues. I took it in to see if they could take a look and they fixed the problem right away and also rotated my tires at no charge! Everyone was super friendly and the wait was not long at all (although I do know it can get very busy here depending on the day). Highly recommend! Will definitely keep coming back!

These guys are great. I needed my mower tires mounted - I bought them elsewhere and wanted them mounted on my existing trims. Nobody else would look at them and, if they could work with the rims would be an outrageous fee. I finally called Dis count Tire to see if they could help. Frank on the phone was incredible. He said for sure they could do it and, if I hurried, they could be done today for $10 per tire. I jumped in the car with the tires and trims and hurried over before they closed. Frank quickly rung me up and told me I would re dive a call/text when complete. Something I want to point out... when waiting for Frank to finish my order a lady came I to pick up her flat repair. The tech gave her the keys and pointed out that she had a screw in her tire. She said Thanks and asked how much. The tech said No charge - I guess they dont charge for a flat repair - awesome! Definitely taking my tire business to Discount Tire from now on.

Always gone to Discount Tire since Ive lived in the area for the last 10 years. And just recently found out but there is a Discount Tire even closer than the New Hudson store that I would go to so I found me a new Discount Tire store in my neighborhood which is awesome great friendly staff eager to help eager-to-please which is five stars in my book.

As a business owner I have spent a lot of money here, Ben and Andrew and Jeremy are awesome behind the counter. The installation team is incredible.

I took my vehicle in for a simple rebalance and rotation. Get it back and noticed one lugnut is cross threaded and all four wheels are scratched around lugnuts. Brand new wheels and already scratched. Will be taking it back to them on Monday to see what they are going to do about it. Once issue is remedied I will not be returning there.

Just needed to get new tires. Was able to get everything setup online, got a same day appointment, and only took about 45 minutes or so. Good experience and will definitely consider them next time I have a need for tires.

Gotten tires there several times. Decent prices, friendly staff. Explained different tires fairly well. Need WiFi, snacks and pop machines in waiting area. Not a fan of installation fees. If your buying a full set, then just waive that fee. Wrap price all in one, much easier to deal with. Good warranties though and happy with quick service.

Ive been using this Discount Tire location for years. They have always treated me very well and always do a fantastic job. I dont even call or check anywhere else anymore when it comes to tires and wheels. This store can be very busy. Certainly recommend an appointment over a walk-in but no matter what the entire team will take care of you. They know their stuff and they hustle hard.

Stopped by this morning, quite spur of the moment, to purchase a winter tire/wheel set. I had quite a few questions and made Brent jump through a few hoops, but he stuck with me, answered every one of my questions and was able to put together a package that was in stock. He told me roughly an hour and half wait, and that was spot on. Discount Tire has always been my go to tire store, and its because of great service like Brent and the rest of the staff provided me today, that will keep me returning.

Thorough customer service. The only delay was caused by being thorough with the preceding customer, which I would consider understandable. My only note is that when a customer comes in with an appointment AND an order, trust that the customer chose the tires they wanted.

It alright people are nice but they cant seem to get there stuff together ordered tires, they are discontinued, then I talk to the guy order a new set, they call me and tell me they have them go in and they cant find them so I have to pay more for different tires that they have in stock (not many options) then they finish up and dont tell me just park in the the lot and I have to go up and ask if theyre any issues he says nope here are your keys, will not be going back.

The service at Discount in Howell is the best. They take such good care of their customers and do an excellent job. Yes they are busy but work efficiently to get you back on the road.

Got a flat tire while out on errands this afternoon. Pulled into Discount Tire in Howell - Kyle was awesome! He worked some magic to get a replacement tire and got me back on the road in approximately 3 hours. Thank You! Love that certificate for repair, refund or replacement too!

Frank had quoted me $139 for 2 tries mounted and balanced on my trailblazer i called him to confirm the price and had him order them not only did they NOT call me when they got there but when I came in to get a patch I asked Brent about my tires he said they had 5 in stock so I told him Ill get them done while Im here he said my total was gonna be $225 cuz frank put my quote in the computer for $189 even though he gave me a business card (that I showed to brent) with HIS name on it (frank) with my quote on the back in HIS handwriting they wouldnt honor it because its too good of a deal in Brents words!! Ive been coming to discount for nearly 10yrs they have always honored any price given, i will not be returning after this!!

Update: The store manager, Frank contacted me and provided a sincere apology for my recent experience. Further, he provided a very generous break on a set of new tires for the trouble I had. It was most generous and with the apology I will have no issues purchasing tires from this store in the future. I withdraw my previous complaint.

I purchased tires 2 years ago after I was told I would be eligible for 2 rebates (which ultimately swayed my decision to purchase tires at Discount). This turned out to be untrue. I was only able to receive one rebate. Irritation #1.I went back within the last month and was told I would still be eligible for the rebate that I needed to call the rebate center and give them the information again (they reprinted out the information needed). In the meant time I was told I wold have to come back to get new tires on another day because they were too busy that day (fair enough). We reserved tires and set up what was necessary for my vehicle. They printed a quote of the service I was to be getting. I scheduled an appointment for the following Monday.I went into my Monday appointment and waited in line for all the walk-ins to be serviced. Once my turn came up I stated I had had an appointment at 1pm (now about 5-10 minutes after my appointment time (slightly annoyed at the appointment time ruse if I have to wait in line with the walk-ins). I was treated as if I had not been in a few days ago and that my paper quote (outlining all that needed to be done) meant nothing. I sat down and waited while doing some work. An hour and a half passed and I went up to the desk (after noticing others were leaving when I was sure they arrived after me). They told me that I had not even been checked into the system. I will say they rushed to get my car done at that point, which I appreciated, but still....(Irritation #2)I called again about my rebate today and that was the last straw. No record of a rebate in the system. I am unable to collect the rebate that they promised me, twice. (Angry!)All in all, I feel they are more interested in herding cattle and subsequently wasting my time. I will not be going there again.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff

Probably the best experience Ive ever had at a tire shop. I had a puncture in one of my trailer tires and was two and a half hours away from home, the employees here took care of it right away; removing, repairing, and replacing the tire all in the pouring rain. If I lived closer, Id take all my vehicles here for tires and tire service.

They told me it’s going to be about a 2 hour wait for the repairs on my vehicle so I went to run some errands. When I returned two hours later my car was parked in the same parking spot and they told me it was going to be about another two and a half hour wait. Don’t waste your time at this place.

I took my truck in a day in advance they had all tires on by 9 am the next day. I had asked them to leave my keys outside because I was unable to get my truck until after store hrs. they didnt, and I was a bit upset that night so I decided to call and spoke with Jeremy about this the next day and not only did he accept the fact a mistake was made and apologize for it he went as far as to drive my truck to my home for me well I was at work. Mistakes happen every now and again but for them to do what they did speaks Volumes to me and Im sure others as well. Thank you all for great customer service.And I would like to add a very special thanks to Jeremy you definitely have earned yourself a customer for life.

They do fine work, but I suspect they fudge prospective wait times. Oh, thatll be hour and a half, two hours really means 4+ hours.Incredibly frustrating. They already had my business. Would have planned my day much more efficiently with a little honesty.Unfortunately, trust is one of those tricky things thats tough to ever recapture.

Fast, friendly service and made the pain of replacing a tire with a screw as good as it can be. Drove by two other tire stores to get to this location and I will gladly do so again.

From 5 stars a few years ago, to 1 star today. Nevermind that they set appointments and arent even close to getting you in at that time. I saw an elderly man question them in a friendly manner as to why they still hadnt touched his car an hour past his appointment and the worker replied yep, and its gonna be a while longer. And theres the 1 star for being absolutely rude to the elderly. Left immediately after that, walked into Belle and was in and out in 20 minutes.
