Its not Jareds its the people that work there. I arrived to my appointment early and had the door locked in front of me, at least they put out their cigarette before they told me to wait 5 minutes, and then to have another customer greeted with a held open door. We were good though went in and just didnt feel welcomed. I had an appointment I thought they (the Jared associates)knew that but they didnt, Strike 1! I had a watch and the battery needed to be replaced but they did not feel comfortable doing it because the face was curved and not flat enough for the jeweler to do the job but she recommended the Watch Hospital. I respect her honesty about her comfortability and or skill level but Strike 2! And finally, the Only reason I came there; our rings needed to be resized. I found a better deal; long story short and Strike 3 something about resetting the stones which affected the price north. Look, its a fine jewelry store and on that alone my experience should have been better. This is what happens when people assume things about people but I Know they could have made some money that day and missed it due to poor attitudes, All around! And the wall was all torn down to the sheetrock in the front to the right, No excuses, remember.....

Purchasing my engagement ring from here was a nightmare! There was absolutely no communication, my fiancé drove 3 hours to this location multiple times because my ring was supposed to be ready, and upon getting there each time he was told that the ring was not there. First it was the setting, then it was the DIAMOND that “they could not locate”. They lost a diamond worth thousands of dollars during the shipping process and did not even bother telling him until after he drove hours to pick it up. Literally months later we finally got it sorted out, but only because we kept calling every week to get an update. If you want shopping for your engagement ring to be magical please go somewhere else.

I was very pleased when I initially came into the store to look for an anniversary gift with my husband. I would say 5 stars but returning to pick up ruined it. The ring was supposed to be ready on Friday and we went on Saturday because it fit our schedule. It still wasnt done and they ask we wait an hour so they could finish it. We went to the mall nearby to kill some time we returned an hour later and it was done. They asked me to look it over to make sure it looked good, in the light of our car (because of curbside pickup) it looked wonderful! Getting home and seeing it in a better light it looked really rushed. Around the gem you can see where the metal is nicked and there are spots around it that are cloudy.... I would say if anything call to see if its ready or give them an extra week so they dont rush yours like they did mine.When Im able Im going to go back to see if there is anything they can do to fix the mess ups

I am very disappointed with the service of Jared jewelry. Being a customer of them and buying many pieces of jewelry I received a bad treatment yesterday when I tried to pick up a bracelet which I bought with them and I had to change because it was damaged and then I had to take it for repair. It took a long time to repair it, more than 2 or 3 weeks passed and I had to be the one to call to see what was going on. They have bad customer service, their website says they close at 7 and I arrived before that and they treated me like Im asking for a favor when it was my right to pick up my bracelet.I dont care anymore about it, they can keep it and I will take my businesses somewhere else!!MB

Worst customer treatment ever. Very shady and bordering on illegal. I bought a necklace and earrings at this Jared location on credit. My wife didnt really like them, so I took them back to exchange for something else. So we went there and they only had two sales people working. After waiting awhile and seeing there were other customers waiting in front of me, we decided to go to the Jareds in Sugar land. Found some ear rings and tried to exchange but they could not get the system to allow a return. After literally an hour and a half, the manager there told us that the Willowbrook store returned the previous purchase on paper and generated a new receipt/invoice. WHAT THE HECK!! So we had to go back to the Willowbrook location to do the return. So we drove all the way there to find that there was no manager to help. What a giant waste of time. Meanwhile, the credit company already withdrew a payment from my checking account.The next day I went to the Willowbrook location and was able to get a refund applied to the credit account. I was told they re-did the recipt to correct a mistake. WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME WHEN YOU DID THAT!!!! I waited a week to make certain the credit was applied. Went to the Sugarland location to purchase the ear rings and was told that the credit account was on hold for 21 days because we made a large cash payment a couple of days ago. If the Willowbrook store did not do the cash return, there would not have been a problem.Wow, I wasted about 5 hours of my time. I wasted 3 hours of my wifes time, Added about 180 miles on my truck. I paid about $30 in tolls. ALL FOR NOTHING!!!!Do not go to Jareds, there are plenty of reputable jewelry stores that you can patronize and have a pleasant experience.

Went there today and I was told that I had set an appointment to be serviced. Not only my wife went in first and she was served but wasnt take care of properly. We had a pearl bracelet where the claps were damaged and needed to be fixed. The lady who was helping her did not have knowledge how the mechanisms works and told my wife it was good. She had lack of knowledge. I was told to set up an appointment due to covid-19 but there was no sign at the door stating its policy. Poor customer service and need better management. The place is going down!

Terrible customer service and organization! If you want a fun and memorable experience picking out an engagement ring this is not your place!Its been a few months since my fiancee and I purchased the ring and Ive been contacting customer service about this experience with no response so thought I would at least write a review to help other people not have this experience.We picked out an engagement ring online that they didnt have in the store so we ordered it to have it shipped to the store (Which took 2 months to get there). When we went to go see it we explained that we wanted to add two diamonds from each of my grandmothers rings to the ring.We we then told that the ring would be ready the following Wednesday so we scheduled engagement photos for the following weekend. We didnt hear from them until Thursday night and they said the ring was ready so we went after work on Friday to pick it up.When we get there we see that they took two diamonds from one grandmothers ring and didnt take any out of the other one when we specifically explained we wanted one diamond from each ring.We then were told they couldnt fix it until the following day... the day we already had photos scheduled for. So we had to reschedule our photo session. We went back Saturday evening only to find out they had LOST OUR RINGS. We were at the store for 3 HOURS while they searched for the rings and finally found them. After all this all they did was apologize and said they would work on compensating us for this awful experience. The manager calls us after we left and told us the best she can do is $100 refund (for a ring that was several thousand dollars) and we would have to drive all the way back to the store to get this done. Never want to step foot or waste another hour in this store again.

I had to get my engagement ring repaired. Although I did not buy the ring from them, they were able to repair the ring quickly, professionally, add a very inexpensive cost.Engagement ring is an opal stone and it fell out while washing hands. Only $67 after-tax, they provided me a six-month guarantee on their work. Not only is this cheap but the quality of the repair was professional. Definitely will return in he future.

First off let me say i grew up a Jewelers son. this stuff that they mass produce is nothing like 30 yrs ago. typically when you buy custom jewelry a mold is made out of wax, its put into a plaster and then a kiln to evaporate the wax leaving a empty cavity of the ring or what ever the jeweler made. it is then taken out of the kiln and molten gold,silver, platinum or the metal of choice is poured into the plaster filling the cavity using different techniques. once the ring is cooled enough to quench in water you clean off the plaster and clean up the ring. from there the jeweler carefully picks the stones one by one and sets them in the ring. again several techniques to set a stone. once this is done its polished, steamed and inspected. this process takes several days some times weeks to begin start to finish .... now fast forward 30 years mass production, chain stores and you never ever see the actual person who made the ring. for what my wife and i bought she is happy and i am happy. the lady is a sales person as am i. i figured i know a lot more about the ring than most people. And i take my experience into consideration. overall im happy with the service and with the product and i can live with the pricing.

They were also helpful in giving me the name of two authorized Rolex dealers in the area. I’m definitely going back to purchase a beautiful ring and to have earrings made.

My husband purchased a Tag Heuer watch for me at the Willowbrook store. The watch was large, so my husband went back to have 2 links removed. Although they have an onsite repair shop, it took a while to do. The watch was still large so I went back in on January 7 to have two more links removed. I walked into the store and stood around waiting for a bit. A woman came up to me and took the watch back to the repair shop. There were three people working in the repair shop. She came out and told me we dont do that here. Seriously. That is what she told me. I asked for Mike, the manager. I knew who he was because my husband had already told me that it took a while for the links to be removed the first time he went back. Mike came out and informed me that Ali was not there and that I could leave it and he would have it back tomorrow. Keep in mind there were three people in the repair shop working. I immediately called my husband and informed him of the incident. I handed the phone to Mike the manager and he practically yelled I told her I could have it back tomorrow. Keep in mind that this same man had removed the links for my husband, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. My husband is white and I am African American. Clearly we have an issue here. I believe the issue is RACE and RACISM. I noticed there were other reviews for this store that were posted by Hispanic people that referenced the same issue. How many ways can people show their racism and still not be reprimanded for it? My husband has spent considerable money at Jared Jewelers. THIS STOPS TODAY. People of color take you $ elsewhere. They dont want your money.....

We are very pleased and had a great experienced with Ms. Zehra and Mr. Kevin excellent customer services ( 3 times comes). My husband do not mind driving 30 minute because the staff is really polite, patiently and helpful. Compare to the other Jared store location, event though is very close to our place. I got another this beautiful Heart Shape Diamond as my 1st Wedding Anniversary in February 14th 2020. Thank you Ms. Vicky for your patience and warmth service. Bought my wedding set here. They helped me stay within my budget and got a beautiful set that my wife loves. My wife took her mothers ring there to get repaired, they replaced 2 stones, fixed the little prongs and re-sized it. $160. Wife sized it wrong and took it back. Re-sized it for free. Very happy.

Terrible customer service and experience. Im being generous by giving a 1 but only for the few people working there who are decent people. I bought a wedding set 2 years ago. Recently I went to have it serviced for warranty only to be given 4 different pick up times to learn it ultimately was needing the channels rebuilt. Then I was told it was not repairable due to wear. Which is questionable given the ring was $3299 not including my warranty purchase. Even if the ring is a cheaper piece it should last more than 2 years. They made it right by giving me a voucher for the purchase of the ring. I appreciate that.... However my entire experience has been soured by one of their managers named Gwen. She is EXTREMELY rude, dismissive and unprofessional. We didnt even deal with her through our mess. Yet they needed her help 2x for our account. The first time she pawned us off on another manager. A second encounter she asked the sales person if she was ok while dealing with us and the third time she again blew us off saying she wasnt available. It wasnt what she said each time it was her curt behavior and tone. She made it very apparent she didnt want to help us. Which is funny because I purchased a more expensive ring and never once got upset that my ring was literally destroyed.... I feel like once your purchase is made you dont mean a damn thing. I would recommend a different store if you choose Jared. If you have to visit this location I would only recommend Jessica. Good luck....

The attendant asked if I wanted to make a donation to St. Judes, and I politely declined (as I donate to the organization through another group). He as asked again, and I said no thank you. His response was, OK, Ill make sure and let the kids know.Very inappropriate and rude response. Not the response you give if someone politely declines. Jared, if this is your corporate response to everyone that says no thanks, then shame on you.

I almost never write negative reviews, but this is the worst service I have ever received. We have been a customer of the Memorial City Jared for nearly 15 years with the most outstanding service. However, since we moved to Cypress the Willowbrook location is closer. I took in four watches to Willowbrook Jared on April 28, 2016. Three needed batteries and one needed repairs. They were able to replace two watch batteries and I was told that the other two had to be sent off for estimates on a battery and repair. I waited a week and never heard back. I called and spoke with Ali, who had helped me. He told me to expect a call in the next week. Another week goes by. I call in and speak with the alleged manager on duty, who told me that it takes three weeks to get an estimate, and this is the first time I have heard this. She was not apologetic and did not even seem to care. Another week, no call. My husband called in and spoke with another representative who had for some reason taken over for Ali. A few days later we get a quote for $380.00 to fix a watch that we paid $300.00 for. We tell them to change the battery in one watch and decline the repair. A few days later, we call back (no one called us). The watch with the battery repair has been sent back to the store, but they decided to wait to send back the watch that needed repairs. I went to the store on June 2, 2016. I went in while my husband and two small children sat in the car. It was pouring down rain. I told the salesgirl that I was there to pick up my two watches. She looked in the watch bin and they werent there. She said she could go look in the back. I told her I was in a hurry and she stood there and sent a text message on her personal phone. Then, she walked over to another counter and I followed her. There were tons of watches just laying everywhere. No organization, just laying everywhere. The salesgirl and another salesman start randomly digging through watches. Finally, they find the one that needed a battery. Then, they find the other one in an unopened package randomly lying on a table. While the salesman kept looking, the salesgirl sent another message on her personal cell phone. I reminded her that I was in a hurry and trying to get home before it rained more. She said she needed to figure out how much to charge me. She looked it up in a book and tried to charge me $74.99 for a watch battery. I told her they had quoted at $34.99. Finally, they decided to give it to me for the correctly quoted price. I grabbed my watches and ran. I cannot believe that customers watches were just lying back there. This has been the biggest hassle of my life! More than a month for one watch battery!

I was having some difficulty with my financing when I came into the store however the jewerly representative and manager of the building quickly put a end to that by making the necessary phone calls to get it cleared up. While I waited they checked in with me to ensure me it was getting taken cared of and that I would be assisted in a timely fashioned.I work in the customer service industry so to see and receive the exact service that you provide to your customers day in and day out was truly a remarkable experience. Though this was done after the fact of looking for the perfect ring for a loved one, that experience in itself was heartwarming.I came in knowing exactly what I wanted in the ring for my proposal. The jewerly representative assisted me in finding the perfect one that was within my budget and soon after working out the finance debacle, I walked out with a ring that I truly felt was the one for my significant other.Thank you to the jewerly reprsentative and management of the Jared store on FM1960. That experience truly left a mark on me.
