So thankful for this company yesterday. I had an hour left of sewing leather and my needle broke. It broke so hard it broke the screw that held it in. I drive 78 miles round trip for the screw and when I returned, already knowing I had an all- nighter ahead of me...it was the wrong screw. Just miscommunication. They were so awesome, an employee lived 20 minutes from me and brought me the right screw. It was a $3.99 part and I was a first time customer. Way to go!! Thank you so much!!

I was happy about the tuneup I got on machine. Sales team is not very friendly or helpful. I waited for 10 minutes in the shop, no other customers where there, just me, while the sales rep and other workers sat in an office have morning chat. They knew I was there but didnt seemed concerned about my interest to purchase a $2000 machine.

Ive been coming Southwest sewing machine since when they opened and I have always been in the sewing industry and every company that Ive worked for have recommended Southwest sewing machines and up to this day I can depend on them when I need them they are very honest and the prices are very good the workers or should I say the technicians that they sent out are very very respectful polite honest and specifically there is one his name is Mr Lee and he is always a technician that comes to the place of business where I work for and leaves us satisfied with his work so I recommend something to anyone have a safe and happy holidays

I love the staff here. They are always ready and willing to get the exact parts, thread, or machine you need. If they do not have it in stock, then they are great about getting stuff in. Gerald is a wonderful stock of knowledge, love getting to chat with him time to time.

I’m new to the commercial sewing industry and called for information on a straight sewing machine for my border fabric on my mattresses. Called and stayed on hold for about 10 mins just to be hung up on. So I decided to go in. As I arrived the people were more interested in talking among themselves and obviously not concerned about helping a customer. An Arrogant Rude sales staff had no interest in informing me about the machine’s capabilities. It was like it was a bother to assist me. So I left.

They have the belt I needed for my daughters machine, and after I called and arranged ordering the belt, I was contacted to tell me even if I buy 2 belts, its not worth their time to send them to me.I live 70 miles from them, and they would rather me drive there than go to the trouble to ship it because it would only be $10 total.So they may have what you need, but they cant be bothered with your business if you are not buying a new machine.So they replied today, and said they sent information for a place closer, hmm why didnt I think of the sewing machine store thats 10 minutes from me...The email with that information was only sent this morning 8-10-2020, our other emails were back on July 7th.They care so much that they wait for you to wright a bad review before they help you

I came to this place with hope to have my home machine Singer repaired. The gentleman was very professional and friendly. He was also very honest about the timeline for fixing my machine. And because I am running a little sewing business, I could not afford to leave my machine there for longer than a few days. He took time to explain what is wrong and how to fix it myself. And guess what. I fixed it. 5 stars for being honest, professional and helpful. I will be back for purchasing an industrial machine when my dear old Singer tells me good-bye...

Dont waste your time to bring your sewing machine here. They kept my machine for 3 weeks. I had to call and ask them, and the next day they called me to tell me that they do not want to open my machine. They told me it is not worth their time to check my machine since it is a high-complicated machine. Mine is Bernina. Again dont waste your time.

I shopped long and hard before deciding which machine to purchase. My final decision on my machine came down to two things machine quality and after purchase service provider should I need it. Juki met the first requirement and Southwest Sewing met the second. A winning combo!

I bought a used machine from them a month ago and Gerald took the time to sit down with me and show me everything about the machine. I sew leather and some of the hardest fabrics there is but They are very experienced and a pleasure to work with. I left knowing that I had a machine that would do the job and it does. They have a huge assortment of parts and can probably fix most things without having to order. warranty on used stuff is the same as new except you have to bring it in. New machines, they will come to you. The time I have wasted trying to get what I need I should have came here first. After moving to Galveston, we were backlogged with work and in desperate need of a new machine. We shopped around and spoke with Elisabeth at Southwest. We made the trip the next day to see their inventory. She was very helpful and answered every question we had. Her and a tech (I cant remember his name) went through every technical detail from thread options to maintenance with us before we left. They loaded the machine for us and we took it back to Galveston the same day. After bringing it into the shop, plugging it in, we started work immediately. Outstanding service and a great machine.
