I took my black and decker vacuum for repair due to damage wheel. It took less than 10 minutes to find the part and fix it. The price service was within my expected range. Great service!

Took my daughters rug doctor for repair. Stewart was wonderful to deal with. Very fast in diagnosing issue and repair.He was recommended by another vacuum repair company in Katy, that did not have the part at the time.

My Mom’s 1952 Singer in cabinet sewing machine was not work properly. Was able to have an in home service call which fixed the machine. Great service for a very fair price. Definitely will recommend Alief Vacuum and Sewing Center to friends.

Knowledge and experience. The owner has both. If he cant repair it, it probably cant be repaired. Helpful and reasonable.

They have a wide selection of vacuum cleaners, spare parts, and vacuum bags. They can fix any vacuum cleaner and sewing machine imaginable and some. I often joke with my husband, that when I take my old vacuum cleaner for service, and get it back purring like a kitchen. I purchased from them two new vacuums and also fixed couple of appliances over the years and the overall experience keeps me coming back. Just recently I purchased a laundry Ozone washer system and they came out to install it in my house. All transactions went well with top shelf results, good pricing, a smile and hand shake. Great experience - brought in a beautiful vintage sewing machine that needed service. 24 hours later I had my machine back and working like the Ferrari that it is. Swift and efficient and felt like Stewart provided good value. Thanks - Im bringing in another sewing machine and a vacuum this week!

The owner of the place is a nice and competent gentleman. He fixed the problem of my sewing machine in no time at all. Actually, it took longer to take out and put back in the box the machine than to screw back the lose screw causing the issue.I paid $15 plus taxes for the service, which I think was a tad too high.

Very pleased with my experience! I took my grandmothers 1954 Singer 301 to get fixed up at Alief Vacuum and Sewing. The machine hadnt been run in over 20 years, and the electrical cords were cracked and frayed. I dropped it off on my lunch break and was told it would be ready in 3-4 days if the replacement parts were in stock, 10 days if parts needed to be ordered. As I was leaving work that same day, I got a call that my machine was fixed and ready to be picked up! It was about $140 total to tune it up and replace a few parts (including the main electrical cord and the electrical cord to the foot pedal). Im thrilled to be able to use this machine for many more years to come!

I am very pleased with this shop. I lost my original go to person so I had to find a new one. This is now my place to go for sewing machines, sharpening services and vacuums along with rug cleaners.Very nice guy. THANKS!!!

For the past 25 years Alief Vacuum & Sewing center has been my go-to location in Alief for parts and service. I will continue going to them at their new location.

Went to this place about a year ago and found them to be very unfriendly. Took my Serger in because thread kept coming a loose. Said a tune up would solve the problem. Was charged $100 for a tuneup, which I think was a little much and problem came back. I have a lot of machines and business to give owners that appreciate my business. Will take my business else where.

I was charged $64 to insert a needle. Nothing was wrong with or broken on my Necci. I feel his prices are ridiculously expensive. I will NEVER go back.

Rude and cursed I didnt get VM message because I was at work and showed up at the time we originally scheduled. Guess he was surprised and said what the F*** when I showed up at the last time we had agreed upon. When I scheduled that time slit I told him it was because I worked but I apologized anyways and advised him that I did not get his message as I came straight from work. He made me feel uncomfortable dont think I will be returning to here.
