Clinton and his team were amazing. Student movers turned a bad situation (dealing with another moving company) into a positive. I needed to move across another state in a day and they were able to accommodate in less than 48 hours. The team was knowledgeable of my time and budget and made the move very stress free. I highly recommend student movers for any moving situations.

I recently moved using Student Movers with Gonzalez crew. I had a lot of stuff and a three man crew. The move took 5 hours, which I anticipated because Cathy, who I booked with, broke down everything. I had a good idea how long the move might take, understood the liabilities for TV not boxed, was given the heads up to unpack dressers and desk. So I was well prepared for the move. Then the crew arrived. They were efficient, VERY kind and customer oriented, and communicative on the process.This is my second time using Student Movers. I moved 6.5 years ago and was so impressed with their moving and prices that, I searched my emails to find them again.I still called around, but they were actually the better price.Would definitely use them if I move again.

The three gentlemen who moved me were great. It was a difficult move as the whole house was not being moved. Specific things from each room were going and there were also two destination stops. Leo, Madio, and the third gentleman (forgive me, his name escapes me) were pleasant, careful and willing to go the extra mile.

I used Student Movers yesterday Clinton and his partner were very professional & very efficient. The weather was really bad and they were still on time, they wrapped all of my furniture up very well and got the job done. They moved quickly being that I was moving from the 3rd floor and completed even thing in 3hrs. I will definitely recommend Student movers and I will use them whenever I move again. They are reasonable as well!

Edgar and his two-man crew were on time and ready to work. They worked continuously and efficiently throughout the loading and unloading processes. They exercised great care with special items. They were very quick and efficient with moving. I choose 3 guys and they have very affordable rates for $341 and prorated the amount that went over 2 hrs. The guys are very courteous and they even wrap the furniture and make sure that it doesnt get damage during the move. They even take all the items to the designated rooms that I wanted. I appreciate how fast and effective they are.

Ok so to start off my leasing office was late on giving me the keys so i had to move my move back. The dispatcher had no issues with this and scheduled me 3-5, called multiple times and they said theyd be there at 5. At 630 I get a call saying theyre an hour away, and got into an agruement because he wanted to reschedule for the next morning. Well i dont know about you but i work for a living so just taking another day off with no notice isnt possible. So i call the dispatcher he sends them and assures me the gentleman on the phones attitude will improve. Well it didnt, he constantly complained while also insinuating that the only reason they were moving quickly was for a tip, So to shut him up i gave him 80 dollars, well that didnt work and he couldnt stress enough if i mentioned the tip a percentage would be taken. After helping them load HALF of what i was paying them to move we head to my new home. Upon arrival another volley of complaints and aggresiveness from the mover. In the process of helping them unload a tv stand had 2 legs break off, my 1100 dollar Samsung tv mount was destroyed, both lamp covers smashed to smithereens, and assorted belongings strown about the back of there nasty trash ridden-beer smelling moving truck. To top it off i did an inspection in the truck to make sure all of my belongings had made it out and set aside on a pile of moving blankets was the box for my 200 dollar headphones. The only time the mover was even remotely civil was when i had to fill out the paperwork, which he basically harrased me into writing Good Job in the comments section. So i figure theres gotta be someone with some sense in this company so i call the office again. Im promised a call back and maybe a discount yada yada. No call, no response just a waste of money. Oh and the apartment in which they moved everything into? Chips in the wall and door, all my belongings carelessly tossed into the living room. I am beyond infuriated that on a day of excitement such as this that it had to be ruined by the most unproffesional team i have ever seen. I will not only never recommend this company in anyway. I will literally never hire a moving company again. I will tell every person i know this story. Hiring a company for a good should never be this was. On top of that on multiple occasions i was wondering if the mover was going to try to fight me. The only reason I didnt write a negative comment is because this guy knows where I live! Not a great way to start a new adventure in life.

I hired a 3 man crew and Gabriel was the team lead. Him & his crew were extremely professional, courteous and honestly went above & beyond what I expected from a moving company. Ive deal with other moving companies who literally just take stuff from point A to point B. But Gabriel & his crew disassembled my items, took care of all the items, got to the new place & not only placed everything where it shouldve gone, but they also assembled my items. They took a huge load off of me by doing these extra things because its bad enough I have to unpack everything, but having to assemble & move large ticket items wouldve been a huge undertaking, so I cant thank them enough for all they did. Im definitely hiring them again & asking for Gabriel every time.

We used Student Movers with 2 movers.Jesus and Alex showed up in the window we requested. They were so professional and nice. They packed up the truck pretty fast and helped us out so much. We give them 10 stars and we would definitely use them again. The best movers we ever used!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do not hire their own movers or drivers. They promise one thing, then do another. I confirmed the date and time, three different times and yet here I am, with no driver. They promised 8:30a - 9:00, then 10:30-11:00a - then 12p. The driver called and didnt like that I asked if he 2as the driver, told me to take my attitude back to he office. Im am filing a formal complaint. Their lack of organization, and follow through delayed my move in to my new building.

Like most, I scrutinized each and everyone of the 1 and 2 star reviews on here. I was concerned, however, the quote they provided couldnt be beat. I also didnt hesitate to express my concerns with each call I made to setup my move. Im so glad I didnt let the poor reviews deter me. The guys showed up on time, called me when they were 30 minutes out, picked up everything, dropped off at my new place and we were done in exactly 3hrs. Moving is a pain but these guys managed to make it fun. Thank you!!To someone out there that was just like me; almost discouraged by the negative reviews:1. Set your expectations Vs cost of service and be realistic.2. Try to get an early morning time slot.3. Make sure everything is packed before they get there( thats if you dont need them to pack for you)3. Look at the reviews of that other service provider you are considering. You will notice they too have the same issues but are more expensive.Disclaimer: This is entirely based off of my experience and is in no way meant to discredit anyone that has had a less than stellar experience.

These guys were awesome! Showed up 30 minutes early on a Sunday to unload a packed uhaul truck for us, and conquered a flight of stairs with everything, without a complaint. I will definitely refer anyone that asks to these guys.

My movers were great! Really made my moving experience much less painful than I had anticipated! They broke down all large furniture and reassembled, they wrapped up all furniture for protection, and were so quick and friendly! They even took out my trash! I 10/10 recommend!! UPDATE: After patiently waiting to be refunded for $95, I called to check the status and was told by Sheila that my complaint/concern about my move was out of their hands and now has gone to Higher Management. I asked for the information and she was unable to provide it to me. I was transferred to Richard. He told me that since I wrote the review, the damage was done. He also said that I refused to be refunded $95, which was a lie. I did not refuse to be refunded. I provided my card information to them and was told by Ronnie that I should receive an email and the refund should take 3 - 5 days. I was looking forward to being refunded. Nonetheless, I am very disappointed with their customer service and overall, their company.Every reviewer, please read. I am not the one to write any bad reviews. In fact, I am a huge reviewer and I really appreciate when others post their reviews about the different experiences that they have had because it helps each of us. I was referred by a very close friend of mine who is very loyal to me. She spoke highly of Student Movers and even she, too, is very disappointed for the bad service that I received because she referred me. Also, I do know that word of mouth plays a huge factor as well in getting the quality services that we desire. However, this has been the most regretting move that I have ever experienced in my life.Therefore, I highly do not recommend Student Movers by far. I truly regret allowing this company to move my daughter and I from our two bedroom apartment to a temporary storage unit which the distance was about 12 minutes away. Student Movers will take their time and take your money. I am a very organized woman and all of my things were ready to go. They only had to take down my bed and one of my tvs off of the wall. I found a screw on the floor and approached one of the movers about it. After the move was over and done, I found another screw on my bedroom floor during my cleaning process. Student Movers were scheduled to move my furniture on 4/3/2021 (Saturday) and they were a no call no show. I called and spoke with Sheila and was told that she could give me a very small discount of $34.50 which was half of the trip charge. My move date was rescheduled for the next day, 4/4//2021 (Easter Sunday). I accepted because I had to be out of my apartment by 4/5/2021 (Monday). I believe that I was taken advantage of because they charged me $604.00 for a total of 6 hours to move. I typically do not hire movers, but this time I did and Student Movers made me regret ever paying for another moving company. My daughter and I moved from our 2-story, 3 bedroom house with a Uhaul and it cost me about $200.00. Student Movers ran out of packing materials (saran wrap/tape), therefore they could not wrap all of my furniture and asked to borrow some of my tape. I asked one of the movers, What if I didnt have any tape? Needless to say, I had filed my first complaint on Saturday and called each day up until yesterday, 4/8/2021 in hopes that they would be kind enough to make it right by refunding me at least half. But, I was told by Ronnie that they could only refund me half of the $95 an hour ($47.50) which was very disappointing. He then called me back and said that the most they could do is refund me $95 which was for an hour. Never again.All I asked from Student Movers, was to make it right and fair because this move experience was very unacceptable. And, they couldnt even do that, which saddens me. My review is to let you know that this is a very honest review and would suggest that you do not consider Student Movers to move any of your furniture.

It was not what I expected at all. I should have went with my first mind on this company. The Hispanic men couldnt speak English and had no clue what I was talking about. They was late and didnt have to move to much of nothing and I still paid for a full 2 hours under 2 hours. Smh. When I called dispatch, they stated that they was going to have a meeting on a Monday and I would get a call back....Hell its Thursday and I got nothing but they got PAID. Never again we live and we learn I will take the L on this poor choice I did this time. It was worth maybe $200 MAYBE!

Israel and his team did the packing and moving for me while I was taking care of my elderly parents. They did the work in about 6 hours and charged a reasonable price. I was very pleased with the stress free experience. Would recommend them to anyone needing a quick moving experience.

This is my 3rd time and hopefully my last time using their service. I moved to Houston 8 years ago and I used their services when I moved into my 1st rental. The guys were fast, reliable, priced reasonably and professional. Unfortunately, I moved and my items needed to go back to storage and again, the alklades I gave still stood. I purchased a home and the company didnt let me down. Although it took longer than expected and the final price was a sticker shock but it was worth it. The guys worked really hard and was patient with me in where I wanted what (stairs in new home) and putting the furniture together. I went 3 hours over my time but it was worth it 👌 Expect the unexpected when moving.

First time I used them they were amazing!! I used them the second time and was highly disappointed they came in a trailer my lamp couldnt fit in half my pictures were left in my previous home and I was over charged a 100$.

Worst moving experience of my life!! I hired a 2 man crew to help move 2 couches, 1 dresser w/ mirror, nightstand, media chest, antique china cabinet, and 1 chair w ottman ....so needless to say it wasnt an entire house and I was going to move the boxes myself. They arrived late and the main guy acted like he didnt even want to be there. The 2nd person couldnt have been over the age of 18 he looked like a kid and he certainly didnt know what he was doing. It took then 45 minutes to move a loveseat into the uhaul trailer. Then when I thought it couldnt get any worse next thing I know the wrapped sofa was left jammed in my front door and the 2 guys had left and abandoned the job!!! I was moving to a completely different city 3 hours away....I WILL NEVER recommend this company to anyone!!!!! When I called to try to get a different crew the representative kept trying to reach the idiots who had abandoned the job even though I specifically told her not to send them back!!!

Jose and Beto from Daniel’s crew were absolutely amazing !!! I had so many items and they handled them quickly and with care. I’m moved in and settled less than 24 hours because of their help. They disassembled and reassembled many of my items in a timely manner. They also transferred multiple pieces of furniture from the third floor in one building to another third floor in another building with NO elevator. I’m forever grateful for them!

They broke a few of my items that were small but expensive and then required a lot to get a reimbursement of only .60 per pound. My belongs were small but expensive and the reimbursement wouldnt have put a dent in how much it would cost to replace the item.

The person they sent was very unprofessional and you could tell as soon as he pulled up that he didnt want to do the job. They changed the move time over and over.

They took 4 hours to move me into an apartment 30 minutes away. The movers stopped for smoke breaks and phone calls while on the clock. When I called to complain, the manager dodged my phone calls. Worst experience Ive ever had.
