What superb service Elite gave us! They moved my 1908 5-7 Steinway grand from my Beaumont residence to my daughters Houston house. they were punctual, courteous, and obviously knowledgeable. They packed up the piano in about 15 minutes and delivered it safely and on time. I definitely recommend using them.

Elite Piano Transport inspected the piano prior to the purchase/move to ensure the piano was operational & free of any cracks or damage. The movers were extremely professional & very knowledgeable. They setup the piano & were able to provide us with more information on the piano we purchased & provide a reference for a reliable tuner. Elite Piano Transport went above & beyond. I agonized over which movers to use to move my semi-concert grand. It has a lot of sentimental value and is an overall good piano. I really wanted a specialty company to move it and didnt really know where to look. There are not a ton of reviews out there by people who have had larger/high-end pianos moved, so it was kind of a stab in the dark.Elite piano transport exceeded expectations. They made me feel comfortable every step of the way. They were responsive, on time, and efficient. They got the piano moved within days of me calling them up. And, most importantly, they clearly knew what they were doing and appreciated the instrument. No scratches or bumps. They reassembled the legs and reattached the pedals with ease and care. They also made sure I was happy with the placement of the rug and piano before they left. One of the movers even suggested a technician/tuner who I ended up already knowing to good, so they seem to know their stuff.For me, the thought of moving my piano was really stressful. Elite Piano Transport removed all of that stress. If I ever move my piano again, I will use them for sure.

These guys are unbelievable! They were so courteous and were not afraid to have a conversation while they worked! They answered all my questions and even came the same day to help us move our baby grand piano! It took them a little less than an hour to get it moved in and ready to play. I highly recommend them. Jason and Rita are the sweetest people!

**** Update. July of 2019 a full year after they picked my piano up they still have not delivered nor will they communicate at all with me. Thiefs. That is about the sum of my opinion of Jason and Rita at Elite Piano Transport.They picked up my piano in July of 2018 to refinish/refurbish it and ship it to CA for us when it was complete as we were moving from Houston. I paid $1250 up front and was told I would be billed for the second half when the job was complete and piano ready for shipment.By November when we had not heard from either Jason or Rita we called and were told it was complete and the additional payment should be made for shipping. The payment was made over the phone via credit card and we were told shipment would be in December to our location in California.By January when we did not receive the piano I attempted to contact Jason but he will no longer return calls. I did finally get Rita to answer and she assured me that the piano would be shipped in the near future.End of April and we have still not received the piano and now neither Rita or Jason will answer the phone or call us back. These people who say they are a family owned business are nothing but thieves.Feel free to contact me if you want, we have copies of the texts and cashed check and would be happy to provide them.

While I haven’t used their piano moving services, I would like to give a huge thank you to Jason for going above and beyond in returning my lost debit card. In this day and age it’s nice to know there are still honest people in this world.

UPDATE OCTOBER 2018 - I hired Elite Transport a second time to restring my piano. The whole process took about two months. I got all new strings and pins. They did a wonderful job and was always available when I called for a status update. The piano pick up and return was just as smooth as my first review in August. I had a horrid experience with another piano company and I had to sue that bad company to get my piano back. I am so grateful that I found Elite Transport who took care of my needs. I highly recommend this company.ORIGINAL POST AUGUST 2018 - JT moved my 48 upright piano from a storage unit into my house (first floor, up ten steps to the front door). The move was very professional. They arrived within 30 minutes of the scheduled pick up, disassembled and packed the piano for transport, and arrived at my house about 45 minutes later. They took great care moving my piano into the house. I highly recommend!

Moved my precious Steinway and Sons piano UP to the THIRD FLOOR (concrete stairs with two turns) years ago, returned yesterday to move it DOWN three flights of concrete stairs. Even moved the Yamaha Motif (keyboard, but a heavy one). Priced extremely well, years in the business, respectfully communicative, trusting, gentle yet firm, fast, and above all, professional.

These guys brought my Petrov upright to me whenever I bought it. About a year later I moved to another town in the Houston area, and the same guys came to pick it up. Curtis and Jason move my piano up and down a double staircase with a center platform; It was like watching a well rehearsed ballet. Curtis and Jason were so polite, so professional, and they even remembered me whenever they came back the second time. I never worried the care of my instrument while they were moving it. SIX STARS!

These guys have moved pianos for me on several occasions and are terrific. They found a problem with one piano and fixed it for me without asking for anything extra. I highly recommend them.

They picked up our piano and it has been 8 months. They avoid your calls and will not return any calls. Go onto yelp and there is another review from someone who has the same story where they pick up your piano - get a deposit - and disappear. So they are basically thieves and avoid them all together!

These guys are as Pro as it gets. Professional, Prepared, Careful, and Priced Fairly. We had them move a Baby Grand from across town to the 2nd floor of our town home. They had to go up a set of stairs, to a real small landing, and then make a 180* turn and go up another set of stairs. We called several companies, and although not the cheapest out there, they were several hundred cheaper than the other guys. You get what you pay for. It was a fair price for the job. We got our Piano in one piece, on time, and up the stairs quickly without any damage to anything. They triple padded our wood stairs so as not to dent them.If you need your piano moved, you can trust these guys. I did not get paid, nor was I asked to write this review.

The guys from Elite Piano Transport were prompt, pleasant and efficient! The scheduler gave me a 12-2 window today but the guys called me at 11:50 and said they were 10 mins a way...No time wasted today with this process and as important as that is, dealing with good people is always a bonus! Hire them to move your piano!-Done!

A friend referred me as she had a piano moved from a 1-story to another 1-story for $270. Our move was from a 2nd story condo to a 1 story. I was quoted $625 with additional $20/per stairstep over 30 steps. I was also quoted $625 over the phone by Action Piano Movers so I felt this was comparable. The movers arrived promptly and the piano was moved safely within 3 hours of calling. Final itemized receipt was $325 base pay+$300 for 20 steps + $100 for same day move. $725 total. We were not told beforehand about a same day charge. When I called afterwards no one picked up. I tried calling from a different number and my call was answered. I inquired about the additional $100 and was told I dont know. Ill have to check with the movers and call you back. This was the same person who gave the initial quote. Four days later, still no call. That is misleading and deceitful business practice. I talked with Fort bend Music Center and their base price is $225+$100 for stairs=$325 total but they need 24 hrs notice. I also called Action Piano Movers back and turns out they have a same day move charge of 50-75$. So beware. My 2-star rating is for poor communication and poor customer service. I wouldve appreciated knowing upfront about a same day charge and I would have appreciated a return call. The move was fine. The piano is safe. But $725 is a big difference from $625. I will not be recommending their services to my friends nor will I use their services in the future.

Since there is only 5 stars....Im doing all 5, but they honestly deserve 10! I called them after a horrible experience with Nationwide movers. I spoke with Rita, the owners wife, and she is a doll!! Knowledgeable and sweet.We scheduled the move without any problems, price was absolutely fair, and they friggin showed up on time!! The piano was covered and secured and brought in within minutes! The delivery guys were professional and spoke english! The owner even was able to give us a little info about the piano, including a tuner! Do yourself a favor and just call Elite....wont be sorry!

Best of choice in Houston...not like the stick it to you guys that charge an arm and a leg. Much better, good for you and was good for me. Semper fi. hoora!!! for Elite.I asked for criminal background checks because people will be in your house and it is a good idea. Elite provided the info...some of the other movers will not or cannot! .....A word to the wise.
