Went in to get an appraisal for my diamond ring. The owner wasn’t able to offer the price I was looking for, but he shared helpful tips and provided honest feedback. It was a pleasant surprise! He seems very genuine and trustworthy. I will go back if I have any jewelry related needs!

I used Morris with Houston Diamonds when I bought an engagement ring for my girlfriend. Being someone with little experience in this department, I greatly appreciated the patience he had working with me to get the best diamond I could afford. Since Im out-of-state, he put extra work emailing me all different types of cuts, so that I ended up with the perfect ring when I was able to come in. He also made sure it was appraised and insured at the highest value once I decided on the one I wanted. My parents and sister have gone to him numerous times, and he never disappoints. I couldnt be happier with my decision to choose Morris and Houston Diamonds.

Ruined my wedding ring and did a terrible job saudering my fiances necklace. Looked like a middle school kid did it. The necklace looks discolored now and all they had to say for themselves is you may want to buy a new one. Nah, you may want to find a new customer. Avoid.

Today was my first time stopping by the store, and they provided extraordinary service that should serve as the gold standard for the industry. What really stood out to me was their genuine emphasis on hospitality and customer satisfaction. The precision quality of the goods, diverse selection of inventory and expert craftsmanship speak for themselves, but its the employees who stole the show and made the whole visit memorable. This afternoon I came by the store, which sits 2 blocks away from the Galleria, seeking a significant cosmetic adjustment to my timepiece. Without calling out anyone by name, I wasted over 45 minutes of my time this morning calling around to other local diamond jewelers in search of a reasonable bid---to no avail. That is, of course, until I got in touch with Amber and crew at Houston Diamonds. They replied within minutes and offered me an amazing deal, and needless to say the rest was history. I never take the time to write lofty reviews like this on Yelp, but Im legitimately grateful for everything you guys did for me today. Harvey definitely set me back a little bit financially, but you folks showed true class by looking out for a fellow Houstonian. Thanks again guys!

I got my ring resized here 1/2 a size up, they were very quick and efficient! I got my ring back the same day they told me I would (2 days later) and at a GREAT price! My ring doesnt look any different but I can definitely feel the difference! I absolutely love it even more now!! I went to get a custom ring made for my husband for our 1st anniversary since we didnt get one for him when we got married. They gave me the best estimate of all other nearby jewelers. The final product was amazing and came out heavier and thicker in gold than anticipated, (which we liked, it suited the ring better) and they still didnt charge us more than the estimate. It took them less than a week to make from scratch. We even got a great price on a beautiful simple wedding band for myself while we were there. They were friendly, welcoming, and very sincere. So very happy with their services. My husband loved the ring, and hes very picky. We found our jeweler for life!

A great, small family owned business. The first time you walk in youll be greeted with a smile and offered a drink. Ive purchases 2 pre-owned watches, sold 1 watch, had 3 watches repaired here and I will be also purchasing some custom made Sapphire earrings for my wife. Lee, Morris, and Amber are great. Theyve got a customer for life.

I went to 5 places to get bids on selling some gold jewelry. One gave me a very low bid, one gave me a fair bid, and another gave me the same fair bid, and then increased it a little when I started to leave. A fourth gave me a low bid and when I told him of the others he increased it to the same as the fair one. Diamond And Gold Buyers gave me the highest bid right off the bat and paid in cash. The manager is very personable, demonstrates professionalism, confidence, honesty and integrity and I feel confident that I got the best price available and highly recommend it. I will be working with them again in the future.

I bought a really expensive and nice diamond from here for the woman of my dreams. She dumped me for another guy last month and I was devastated, so I thought that by buying her a diamond she might come back to me. And she has! Now that she knows how much I care for her she has told me she loves me so much. Even though she sometimes sees her other guy friend, its so awesome to finally have her back. To be with her for a day or two out of the week is just such a pleasure. Diamonds really are forever haha

They fixed my wifes old jewelry for half the price & time and polished them for free..they look like brand new now. excellent job. they made my wife verrry happy...though I got the credit for that...:))) thanks. Mikey

I would like to amend this review. This establishment is not at fault. The property management is to blame for this unfortunate incident. The business owners need to be made aware of what is happening to their clientele. Do not shop here! I was standing in the parkingj lot of this business having a cigarette before entering and was harassed by the security guard. I was told that I couldn’t be on the property. I was dressed in casual attire ie; a Polo shirt and jeans and was treated like a homeless person. Do not shop at any business in this location unless you wish to be harassed.

I went in to Houston Diamonds to get a necklace fixed and right when I walked in the door I was greeted by Morris and Amber. They gave me a very reasonable price to fix the necklace and while I waited on the estimate, (2-3 mins) I also had them take a link out of my watch. Picked up the necklace 2 days later and that night, while trying to get the pendant back on the necklace, we managed to break the clasp. Took the necklace back in and again I was greeted right when I walked in, but this time by Lee. Within 5 mins Lee put a new clasp on the necklace and it was good as new.On top of their services being affordable, this staff was quick, straight forward, and honest.I would definitely recommend this company!!!

This was the first watch repair shop Ive been to in Houston. When I had my watch repaired in Portland, OR, it costed roughly $80-100 every time and I would have to wait an hour.I called them in advance to schedule an appointment and they say that I can walk-in, which is what I did. They finished replacing the battery within 10 minutes and I asked how much do I owe them. They said $10. I was very surprised as I told them that my watch was expensive and that the cost should be higher. They explained to me that no matter how expensive the watch is, the cost of the battery should be the same.They have won my trust and I will be a repeat customer.

Very professional staff. I was searching for a diamond for an engagement ring, and they were able to save me thousands off similar diamonds at all other places. While in the store, they had a customer come (back) in to sell them some gold that had received quotes on from several places. I heard her say their first quote to buy the gold was better than what she received at other places second or third quotes (as she was leaving their stores). I reccomend these guys to all my friends with jewlery needs!

They have exceptional diamonds and always good advices to help you figure out what you are looking for. Very friendly people and good price and quality.
