I recently started regular cleanings from The Cleaning Authority. The first cleaning they showed up on time and did a deep clean throughout the house. They did a great job in my opinion and the house looks great.Since then Ive also had a regular cleaning and I was really happy with their service. The two workers showed up on time, do a great job, and are very respectful and polite. Id recommend The Cleaning Authority to any of my neighbors.

They are very responsive, really helped to be flexible today when the city cut off the water to the neighborhood to fix a broken pipe right before they were scheduled to come. When Suzy Flores is part of the team expect an exceptional cleaning. She is outstanding and guides others so even a standard cleaning feels like a deep cleaning. We even had roses made on our toilet tissue and decorative tissue on our Kleenex boxes. I can recommend Suzy highly. I didn’t get the name of the woman who worked with her today but we were very pleased with the work they did. Even my husband commented on how clean the house was.

Overpriced!I have a small house (1300 sq ft) which Ive only lived in for 2 months. I have 3 bedroom, only 1 of which has a bed in it. One of the bedrooms is empty and the other has a desk and bookshelf. I have 2 area rugs. 2 bathrooms (only one that gets used regularly). And it took them 3 hours to clean it????I suppose I thought that since there were 2 cleaners, that both of them would be cleaning my house. But it seems that only one cleaned while the other came to keep her company because every time I walked near them one was cleaning and the other was on her phone or chatting.I inquired after 2 hours about how much longer it would take, they said another hour. (And I can still hear them in there chatting, dont hear much vacuuming going on)They are doing a good job but this isnt worth the price. (I had to put down a $180 deposit, and guess that was for only 2 hours, so I will have a balance to pay for the additional time.) Unacceptable. I still see dust on my lamp in my bedroom, there were long hairs on the bathroom floor. And I am paying one of these people to basically stand around.Will not use again.UPDATED: I am very glad that the representative I have been working with at the West Houston location contacted me to follow up. They only charged me for 2 hours, instead of 3, which I appreciate.

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! Stay away!The service started promising with an inspection of the supervisor after every cleaning session but that slowly went away with less and less inspections until they did not do a single inspection at all anymore. The quality was going downhill super fast after a few months and the duration of their cleaning sessions became shorter and shorter too. The last session before we terminated the service was less than an hour and no one could tell if they even cleaned during that visit. Dirty dishes literally thrown on top of each other in the kitchen sink. The counter top looked clean initially but they just wiped around a couple of envelopes we forgot to remove before they came. A normal person would at least have picked them up and whipped underneath and stacked the envelopes. Basically they expect you to clean your house before they come clean it because they wipe around everything without organizing anything.I’ve always experienced that house cleaners have an expiration date of about a year, one and a half year before they start slacking. We believed that with a professional company behind it that wouldn’t be the case. But this one was even worst, they did not even made it a full year. Their customer service is the most terrible of the whole experience. They are super arrogant, have no courtesy whatsoever and are very unprofessional. If you call with questions or a complain they will constantly interrupt you and even hang up if you tell them you don’t appreciate the interruptions.The cleaning authority is nothing more than a ‘fast-food’ version of a cleaning company trying to get money out of people’s pocket as fast as they can with minimum effort. Theyre acting like they are so professional with their checklist and supervisors but in reality it is nothing more than a smoke curtain to let you think your house has been professionally cleaned. Highly recommended! Between work, cooking, school, and 2 kids, THE CLEANING AUTHORITY has saved me sooo much quality time! I absolutely hands down Love their work, communication and professionalism. My fav days are when they come and I just get to enjoy my kids and Relax! So many details to be thankful for that I don’t have time for. Worth every penny & some!!

They dont deliver what they describe at the time of estimate...I was told a deep clean was necessary, but soap scum was left in all bathrooms and kitchen sinks, the stove wasnt cleaned well and there was dust and dirt beneath the couches... it was more like a mediocre clean not a deep clean! they sent someone to check if the areas could actually be cleaned and she could! so they ended up charging me a regular clean.

The Cleaning Authority is a highly professional operation and I’ve used many different cleaning services over the years but this one is by far the best. The cleaners are hardworking they pay attention to detail and quality is very impressive. They are very good at honoring special requests. UNSATISFIED! DISAPOINTED! – MUST READ!I chose The Cleaning Authority because of its professional website, good reviews, and reasonable prices. I picked a deep-cleaning service for my moving-in house, so my house was empty and pretty clean to begin with. The cleaning crew (two ladies) seem nice, they asked me which part of the house I wanted to get focus, so I told them to pay more attention to the bathrooms and the kitchen.For a deep-cleaning service, it was NOT very “deep”. The kitchen is a little bit cleaner than before but it seemed just like a normal clean and I could have done it myself. The fridge is not clean, the kitchen and the faucets still have streaks, the stove is not better. Same goes with the bathrooms, streaks and dirt are still there, from the shower head to the floor.Other than the kitchen and the bathrooms, it seems like they only clean the “visible” parts of the house (and not that clean, either), I checked all the corners and it’s still dusty. I even found pieces of grass (from outside) on the carpet and it wasn’t there before the crew came!The laundry room and the room beneath the stairs are UNTOUCHED! WHY?! On top of that, I did tell them to focus on the kitchen and bathrooms, none of the drawers/shelfs in the kitchen is cleaned, AT ALL! Same goes for the bathrooms.It goes on and on, I could list a whole lot more, again the house was pretty CLEAN to begin with! I END UP CLEANING THE WHOLE HOUSE AGAIN, AND IT ONLY TOOK ME 2.5 HOURS, BY MYSELF!I don’t want to say much, this is the shortest I could say, I am VERY UNHAPPY and UNSATISFIED with the service. It took more than 3 hours for the ladies to finish the job, and NOTHING changed!Anyways, thank you for the time and effort, I felt bad I didn’t tip the cleaning crews, but again, it wasn’t worth my money and time.For anyone reading this to see if they are worth to hire, take my advice: save your time and money, either do it yourself or hire some real professional cleaners!WOULD NOT recommend to family or friends.

Like most cleaning personnel, try to do a really good job on visits one and 2 then visit 3 couldnt even tell I had my scheduled visit nor did they perform their rotational duties as they said they would. Trying again for service 4 but if it takes so much back and forth with the office to get the crew to do what they were supposed to do - not impressed.

Ive had TCA clean our home for over a year now; in the past with cleaning services Ive seen they start out great and then slowly the level of service worsens, but with TCA Ive been happy almost every single visit. Even though I work from home I run two businesses, care for an elderly mom, try to keep up with a teenagers schedule and carpool demands as well as being a wife, and a mom to a lot of pets I do not have time to do what they do here in just a few short ours, thank you!

I was initially encouraged hiring this company after hiring an independent housekeeper didnt work out. I work two jobs and am often out of the house 18 hours a day and was excited to be able to afford the opportunity to have my apartment professionally cleaned so I wouldnt have to worry about it.I met with the manager, Metch, at my home and she explained everything in full detail about what the company offers and how their services work and the amount of work that they were supposed to do for the price sounded like a steal! I handed over my key and we set a date.I got home the day of my clean and noticed that not all of the trash had been taken out as it shouldve been. There was a box that shouldve been thrown away sitting on top of the trash can that wouldnt fit inside. They put the box on top of the washing machine and just took the trash in the bin. Im not sure why they wouldnt think if the box is with the trash, its not trash? The blankets on my sofa were rumpled and placed haphazardly as were all the pillows, like they just threw them back on there instead of making things presentable. The rest of the apartment seemed in good order, though nothing really smelled super clean and nothing was really shiny and sparkly like I had expected.Those may be petty complaints, but here are the real ones. I have no idea what the girls who cleaned my apartment did but there are scuffs all over my walls. Did they just drag their equipment across them without a care in the world? Who knows. Heres the kicker, they must have had something plugged into one of my outlets and instead of going to the outlet and unplugging it, they ripped their appliance out of the wall, pulling my outlet cover off the wall with it. Straight off the screws! The middle of the plate is cracked in half from being pulled from the wall and the corner of the plate is shattered. Granted its not an expensive replacement, but I didnt even get a notification that my property had been damaged. To top it off, I found the broken outlet plate stuck behind the mirror on my wall. I wouldnt have even seen it had the corner of the plate not caught the sun. Why would they just tuck the broken plate behind the mirror!?! Totally bewildered.I attempted to contact the company and was told ohhhh hey we were just about to call you! No, no you werent because you had no idea what I was talking about when I called you and said my property had been damaged. Had I not called them, they never would have said anything about it. I have not once heard from the manager, Metch about this awful service and the girl I dealt with, Janie, didnt even return my calls after she supposedly said she was going to investigate with the girls what had happened. I had to chase them down to retrieve my key back.DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They are dishonest and shady and do not do the work they are paid for.
