Proud to say I was the 1st ever client that Ian treated in Houston more than 5 years ago! I had a touch up session today to make it a little darker and make my hairline softer. This week, Ill be sending my two helpers here for training. I had a good vibe about Scalpp after doing some web research, and ians music video topped it off.

My scalp micro-pigmentation is completely satisfied after three treatments. My main concern was the hairline, and I was impressed by how ID work appeared in several company images. His guys, in my opinion, appear to have hair rather than a smattering of dots. I consider myself fortunate to live only a 30-minute drive away because I know people travel from far and wide to attend. BTW, it is painful, which shocked me because most people claim it isnt. I also turned a lot redder than I expected, which lasted four days. Im not sure if it was just my skin, but I couldnt return to work for another week, which threw off my schedule. In any case, the SMP turned out to be better than I expected. Everyone at work tells me I should have shaved my hair like this a long time ago when I switched from a combover to an SMP.

Got scalp micropigmentation done at SCALPP by Ian. I have a lot of hair and take a regular finasteride/Rogaine/Laser comb etc. The Scalp Micropigmentation has made my hair look a lot thicker. Very glad I got this Scalp MicroPigmentation done now. BE PATIENT. First session is not like the photos but the second session is. I want defined barbershop line up but not painted on. I went to see a few SMP companies hoping to get rid of my lace hair system that I have worn since the mid 90s. I was still on the fence until I met Ian Dennis at Scalpp. Ian is very confident in his work and answered any concern before I even brought it up. I asked him what would happen if I didnt like the end result and he simply replied thats absolutely impossible lol. Its been 4 weeks since my last session and the transition has overall been smooth. It felt strange not wearing the system at first but now the lifestyle that it has given me back and not worrying about my hair anymore has (as cliche as it sounds) changed my life. I was worried if it would work on light white hair but it does. The hairline and blending are natural and gentle. It just fades into my skin I love it.

Results 10/10. The hair pigmention match is so nice. Everyone talks about hairlines but for me the big issue is the horseshoe on the back. But now if I look at the back of my head then you cant tell at all where my hair is and where the scalp Pigmentation everything blends so so nice itss absolutely insane! I was very very very nervous on my first session and afterwards I was just driving home all smiling. There is literally nothing to be nervous about, Ian has been doing this stuff forever and he is a real kind person and funny too.

I messaged tons of SMP artists on facebook and almost all of them told me that if you are in Texas then go with IAN and only him. The hairline shape and feathered edges are totally how I imagined. I am picky and a perfectionist but Ian met all my expectations and then maybe a little more too. You will be happy. Ian is THE MAN! I wasnt bald but just wanted to use the tattoo to make it thicker and it really has. Its much fuller and darker and noone knows I got it done. My wife thinks Im still using the toppik! It has turned out even better than we thought it would. He takes his time and he treats you like you are his only client for the day. I watched video after video after video on the tattoo and glad I went with Ian. If you are in Texas then go with Ian. He is as great as his reputation.

I was 1000% bald lol but Ian got the darkness perfect, the density perfect, the dots look identical to my hair follicules. A long story short:I had some horrible Scalp Pigmentation done at another place in Austinand it took EIGHT sessions to get it lasered. Bottom line, if your hair loss is controlling your life or if you just want a little pick me up Ian Dennis is the man to go to for a top-notch treatment. I had pretty much given up on any hair-loss solution and resided to be being bald until I heard about SMP in January 2020. After hearing about it and watching some videos I was very interested in this procedure. I did a lot of research and contacted several well-known SMP treatment facilities. I thought I wouldn’t be a good candidate for this as I’m a ginger Norwood 6, and have been bald for about 15 years. However, after watching Ian’s videos, client reviews, and looking at his portfolio pics on Instagram I contacted him. After initial contact he replied to me the same day talking to me about the procedure and what his approach would be. I felt very comfortable knowing the he was going to be doing ALL of my sessions. This was something that I was willing to travel for in order to have the best practitioner. Because of the confidence I had in Ian I drove 15 hours from Des Moines, Iowa to Houston for all my SMP sessions. Long story short, I have had three sessions my first session in May and most recent one in July. I required additional sessions due to my skin tone as well as the amount of hair-loss. At no point after my procedures did anyone say anything. My children didn’t even notice the changes, and they still don’t know! I feel and look 10-15 years younger. Hands down, this is one the best decisions I’ve ever made!! If your still on the fence, I recommend calling Ian and going in for a face to face consultation. He will take the time to answer all of your questions, walk you through the procedure, and give you everything you need to make an informed decision. If youre going bald, have a receding hairline or if youre already bald this is the place you want to go to. Forget about hair transplants this is a 100x better because of the skills and prices. My hairline had been receding for a while but the remaining hair was covering it up. Ian told me to take my time on making the decision cause Ive never been bald. He is very professional and worked with my schedule. 3 sessions later and it was the best decision Ive ever made. People dont even noticed the difference. I also enrolled to learn this craft/art , at first I was doubtful that I would be able to learn quickly but he made it so easy and he was very hands on . I seen multiple clients of his walk out with smiles from ear to ear along with that he taught me hands on the whole process. The reviews dont surprise me. Ian is brilliant and he is humble about it. There is another artist treating people there but I would recommend the long wait for an appointment with him. Very pleased with the blending especially, I took a photo with my canon and zoomed in and it is impossible to tell the difference between my hair and the Scalp Micropigmentation.

As a female with fine thinning hair i decided micro scalp pigmentation was my only option apart from a wig.
