Owner Lisa A is absolutely awesome! She has helped me multiple times for my wedding needs as well as offering me high quality clothing for my trip. It’s Almost Xmas 2020 going into a new year 2021! I’ve been knowing Miss Lisa now for almost a year! She is the most kindness spirit you ever want to meet. Not only are her clothes DRIP DEAD GORGEOUS FOR ALL SIZES but she has mad HAIR SKILLS! She will not try n get over on you at all! She truly is a Angel on Earth! I highly recommend this place HANDSDOWN!

I went to My Trendy Place on Friday, Jan 13, 2017. My experience was absolutely exceptional. Lisa and her staff are 5 star and I would highly recommend them to everyone. The staff welcomes you warmly and asks you for your opinion and thoughts on everything they do. Also, they tell you how to maintain your hair, when to wash, everything what to do and what absolutely not to do. I will be back Lisa! Who knew?

I absolutely loved it. Im a firm believer that you get what you pay for. Lisa, the owner, was the one assisting me with my hair. She was persistent on helping me find exactly the right wig for my head. In a word PERFECTION

I found this location by searching for Wig Repair. Met with a woman to drop off my wig for repairs. Paid my money upfront thinking that I would get the wig repaired professionally. Boy was I wrong. I then had to wait more days because the Business/Owner had a personal issue going on. I waited and understood but after the second chance given, the wig was still not wearable and I wasted money and time. The most important thing was my time that I wasted. I would have preferred for the Woman assisting me with the repairs, explain that she was unable to do it. Instead I lost money and time.

I recently visited Houston for the first time and hear a lot about My Trendy Place. I went and was welcomed at the door. The atmosphere was so fun yet professional. Needless to say I purchased a few clothing items and intend to go back for more. Thank you My Trendy Place for EXCELLENT customer service and professionalism at its best!

Excellent Customer Service! Ive visited My Trendy Place several times and found it to be a healthy and wholesome environment. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The owner, Lisa Amosu, was very accommodating and down to earth. I would recommend My Trendy Place to anyone in the market for a wig, hair piece, or just want to shop for accessories and nice clothing.

My experience was very good here. I met the owner but she did not service me because I was told she was in a private appointment. The staff seemed helpful to me and solicited my opinion about my services after they sold me some clip in hair. I did not have an appointment but everyone was welcoming and made me feel comfortable.

My Trendy Place is the best! Lisa always makes me and everyone else Ive seen at My Trendy Place feel fabulous when they leave. They have incredible customer service and have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and satisfied every time I left. The first time I came to Lisa, I had been dealing with alopecia for about 1 year and a half, and it was the first time someone made me feel comfortable about myself. She gave me my fabulous back. I have now been a very happy customer for almost 2 years. 5 gold stars!

I first met the owner Lisa at the video production of Over and Over where I played the main character and she was the full lace specialist for the Music Group. Her full lace application was award worthy because that video was nominated for a BET Award! I brought my mom by My Trendy Place a few months later as she was dealing with hair loss issues and we purchased a unit from there. My mother is extremely picky and has since been numerous time for more wigs without me and we live over an hour away.

In March of 2018 I started to lose my hair due to chemo. I went here thinking they could help me figure out how to cope with this loss. I was 17 at the time not knowing anything about wigs. I was bamboozled out of almost $700 for a low quality 16 in wig that sheds non stop. The customer service was great but it was all a ploy to get me to buy the wig. I would never go back and I don’t advise anybody else to waste their time. It was truly heartbreaking to have been duped at such a terrific time in my life.

Horrible experience. Do not go. I knew exactly what type of wig I wanted and they could not get it done correctly. The front desk lady was incompetent and rude!

You notice that she only has three reviews two are unknown and one is her .... she is way over priced not qualifed to do my hair , she cant braid which is part of the service process, her boyfriend was in the shop when i came and she proceeded to talk about him to me .... strike three.... her employees were not trained and she was back and forth to her office leaving them to run things without qualifications.... i would not return here again ...... BAD SERVICE
