*update at bottom***Not sure what’s going on but I called to book a first time appointment for this Sunday and was told they need a card to book. I understand. People are flaky. The thing is, I’ve tried calling back to give my card number and I keep getting a voicemail and I can’t’ reach a live person to fulfill my end of the deal. Guess I’ll have to find some where else 😞*Edit- I was able get through on the phone and give card number. I came in and saw Iesha. She was amazing. Highly recommend!

Unlike the other locations here I Houston when I arrived a very seemingly unfriendly Racquel was at the front counter. I spoke to her first of course and asked if they had any openings today for wax services. She quickly dismissed me and told me they do not take walk-ins. I was a bit puzzled because the doors were unlocked and I was dressed professionally with a Mask with all protocols in place on my part. When I asked her when did this policy begin that I could not walk in and make an appointment she said it has always been this way due to covid and pointed to a sloppy handwritten sign taped to the wall. Plus they were all booked (allegedly). I have been a long time customer of Pretty Kitty and normally enjoy my experience. This is my first time having to write a negative review and Im disappointed. While I will still consider other locations I will not patronize their San Felipe location.

This was my first time going to PK for a Brazilian as I have been going to European Wax center for the past two years. Iesha was amazing! She was prompt, personable, professional, and explained her technique. I am smoother than ever without any stubble left behind. I will definitely be back!

I have had some horrible experiences with waxing, so I actually ended up just going back to shaving. But it got tiring, again. So i tried this place out & omg, i fell in LOVE! my first booking was with aisha (i believe thats how you spell it) and she did AMAZING! She made sure I was okay during the whole process, was just genuinely so sweet and nice. My results spoke for themselves. I had gone in with a rain forest and prob a good amount of ingrown hairs, and a MONTH later barely grew a garden. Unfortunately, my next appointment I didnt end up with her, I wasnt aware there was more woman, so I didnt get the same results or enjoy the process at all really, i was tortured and she wasnt genuinely nice at all. So for my next I made sure to do it with Aisha. Highly recommend!!!

This was my first time visiting this location. I was blessed with the amazing service from Iesha . I have been getting Brazilians for years and accepted that it is just a painful experience . This was a honest paradigm shift for me , she was very professional, clean , fast, and gentle . Also providing me with the knowledge I need to maintain the health of my skin . I will definitely be returning with glee.

Iesha is my go to girl!!! She is so sweet and very gentle. Doesn’t make the process akward and makes sure I’m ok every step of the way. I would never had thought getting a Brazilian could actually be fun because we laugh the whole time I’m there 😂

I love The Pretty Kitty, but mostly I love Bridget! She works at all 3 locations, so I just book at whichever one shes at.Before coming to see Bridget, Id never had waxing done in any intimate places. I was scared, but as I was turning 40, I figured I should at least try it out. I booked at Pretty Kitty and lucked out with Bridget! I decided to go for it and get a Brazilian, and it wasnt even close to as painful as I was afraid it would be. I think the soft wax helps as well.I didnt get ingrown hairs or irritated skin, just smoothness that lasts for weeks!Once when I couldnt book with Bridget, I got waxed by someone else and ended up with lots of ingrown hairs. The waxing itself was more painful as well.Ill only see Bridget now for my intimate waxing, and Ive been going to her regularly for nearly a year. Oh, and she does brows too!

Customer service is the worst. I’ve been calling since Wednesday and No one answers the phone.

I’ve been going to Beauty Spring forever but decided to give this place a try. I don’t regret it! At first I was apprehensive since I didn’t know what to expect. I had Miranda and she was amazing and so pleasant and thorough! They mean what they say when they say “15 minutes”. The wax is soft, will not burn, and doesn’t pull when applied. Their technique is the best I’ve experienced because I’m not a fan of European Wax Center. I definitely have found my new wax lady, sorry Martha 🥴.

This is the best service Ive received since I started waxing. I got a Brazilian wax here and I was so amazed with the service! With other wax places Id normally break out in bumps after the wax but this one? No irritating bumps! She finished it within 20 minutes (prepping, waxing, plucking) and it was almost painless. My favorite part was the witch hazel which helped with the stinging and pain. I loved how we were able to talk, shes super nice and is a perfectionist at her job. Highly recommend to get your Brazilian wax appointment here! Im fully intending on coming back and trying other wax services.

Went in for the first time ever for a Brazilian and as scared as I was.. I must say it did not hurt!! My tech was Alicia and she was AWESOME!! I will definitely be back. She told me the first time is the worst and it wont be bad..AND GUESS WHAT?? It was NOT BAD WHAT SO EVER!! She explained the difference in their wax vs. others which I guess the wax makes a difference. So anyone who is scared and if you are like me and google others experience, take it from me it was not painful at all. Go see Alicia you will not regret it!!

I love the atmosphere and the wax is better than European wax center. My aesthetician was nice professional and quick. She offered extra grape seed oil at the end and cared about my comfort.

I just got my first Brazilian and Jasmine was awesome. She made it an easy and pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

It was my first time and from the time of booking the appointment everyone was so nice pleasant and understanding. Megan gave me confidence that is doing well when though I think I was completely breaking down.

I loved this place, Yasmin was the best!!! Unfortunately for the past 2 months they have called me and cancelled my appointments. When I mentioned about going to another salon for waxing, the lady said okay. they clearly do not care about their existing clients. It is clear, also that upper management does not care about this location as they are concentrating on the Rice Village location. Will not be coming back to Pretty Kitty!!

Request for Megan V! She rocks :)I’ve been going to Pretty Kitty now from several years. I had my first waxing done in NY and it was very traumatic for me. I decided it to give it another try. I did some research and found Pretty Kitty. Megan performed my 2nd waxing and she so kind and explained to me how there are different types of waxes used, different techniques, and she gave me tips on how to exfoliate to help prevent razor bumps.Because of Megan, my experience with waxing is so much better. I drive about 45 mins to go to a Pretty Kitty Location, but with the exemplary service and care it’s all worth it.Also, just a heads up if this is your first time getting waxed you will appreciate that they give you your privacy to get situated before your waxing. At other waxing centers I’ve been to, they just stay in the room and it’s uncomfortable especially if you are not used to it.

I am entirely new to getting waxes especially down below. I had a traumatizing experience with getting a wax on my eyebrows many years ago that put me in the hospital. So one would be weary of getting anything done involving wax. I have extremely sensitive skin and suffer from razor bumps and ingrown hairs. I wanted something different and after reading the raving reviews Groupon I decided to try it out.Miranda was the lady who helped me. I explained to her that this was my first time and I was quite scared and she was so nice and so reassuring and extremely gentle with me. She talked me thru the whole process making me feel extremely comfortable. Also answering all of questions and educating me on what to do afterwards and about any products I may need. I also couldn’t stop screaming lol but I promise if it’s your first time getting a wax Miranda at the Pretty Kitty is a guaranteed great experience. I will be booking again soon.Thank you Pretty Kitty 🐱!

It was my first time however Krystal made me feel comfortable and my my experience pleasurable with a tad bit of ouch.

I looooovvvved this place, but before I had to replace two of my estheticians there because the company are completely insensitive of their great staff!!!! The management at this place completely SUCKS!!!!! Ultimately, not caring about your staff and causing a revolving door shows you dont care about the clientele either! One was let go behind ONE FALSE pain compliant when this person worked there for years with way more positive feedback. Not to mention everyones pain tolerance is not the same and its a painful service already. The other was let go because she had missed ONE DAY OF WORK because of a health issue and going to the hospital. R u serious????? So you cant even get sick and work here? Excuse me, but Those vaginas can wait!!! Again the management here are losers!!!!!!
